Completed another restoration project for the museum
Made in America. Allen and Company designed smaller machines for young workers in small-scale farms, like the lightweight and adjustable Planet Jr. Seed Sower. It's easy to switch attachments and can also be profitable for men in challenging soils. The Planet Jr. Seed Sower is perfect for energetic boys and can be used as a robust tool for hard-working laborers.

Well done with the welding cast iron, I might of chickened out and brazed it
Someone had previously brazed it and it hasn't worked,That's why I was going to cast a new one but the shape was too complicated

The sandblasting is always one of my favorite parts! It's just so satisfying.
thanks for watching😀after 3 hours of doing it, not so much for me
Should have brazed the broken cast iron with the torch you had sand a brass rod, would be a lot stronger.
the previous weld's was brazed and had failed
I cannot fathom why you don't have more subscribers. Amazing work and video

Oh. You have a whole museum of old agricultural stuff. Interesting
I restore stuff for museums for free
@@richardrestorations oh, Cool
I've been looking at these planters and I can't figure out what the bar protruding from the back is for... Anyone know?
Maybe do a restoration of the old air compressor?
Thanks for your feed back cheers Richard 😀
You’re very handy and knowledgeable sir!
I appreciate that!
When you filed of the extra metal pieces. You just got the parts painted white. I know you were painting them again probably twice.
But should you file first before you prime next time?
Thank you for the video. Looks great
Thanks for watching 2 reasons I paint first it stops flash rust and the second reason is that it highlights the imperfections so it's easier for me to identify them cheers Richard
I like what you did. The lettering looks good. 👌
Thank you! Cheers!

@@alan_a_1975 а зачем нам тогда музеи с картинами, мебелью и другой исторической утварью. Это история и она имеет право жить.
Thanks for your feed back cheers Richard 😀
It's a shame that it's in a museum - it would come in handy for a home gardener!
Thanks for your feed back cheers Richard 😀
Wow, that is awesome how you restored the seed planter. It looks much better and it works like a charm too. Excellent work as usual.
Thank you! Cheers!

I really don't think Jim cared if the driveway is clean or not HAHAHAHAHA
Thanks a lot @oneshotme and glad you enjoyed! jim is such a guts he would be absolutely devastated if he didn't get everything
I'm guessing your spider made a new home some place nice and warm in your work shop. You guys must go through a lot of Gravy. What compressor did you get ? Looked like a very big project. Turned out great. I was going to ask what your going to plant but it looks like it's back in it's home now. Well done 👍👍👍👍
Hi Austeration i got a 16 cm compressor i wanted a bigger one but it would be twice the price ,i have got three other projects on the go I was feeling guilty that I hadn't put one out and it will be at least 2 weeks away from being finished so did this one ,Good to see your channel growing
@@richardrestorations good to see yours growing also. Not sure about my last one though.
I would have brazed it so much easier and just as strong.
Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and leave a comment. I value your opinion.
Great video and I love your sense of humor. I sure hope you didn't have to pawn that Lincoln to pay for the new compressor! Would love to see more of that beautiful car.
thanks @aaronneumeyer5572 for the encouragement
I got to sell the Lincoln and start work on a 68 Buick lesabre ,She who must be obeyed has demanded this to happen ( I Could drag it out for another 5 years)😀
@@richardrestorations I have three of those "she's" in my house and completely understand. I get constant push back from my need to build an underground lair complete with a hidden submarine base. I just don't get it. 😆
