Ivan Toney Simply does not move the needle for Arsenal. We have enough good players, we need excellent.
And the Bees are dropping his price (to follow his declining production). I think this is an acknowledgment that the market is moving away from him. He appears to me to be locker room poison. Am I wrong? Can MU really afford to take on another locker room distraction, given they already have so many?

Rafael Leao is an excellent player! His football brain and ability on the ball is incredible. He’s definitely a player that strikes me as a student type, and that’s definitely something that is priority for Arteta’s team; there’s a lot of learning to do and if you’re lazy mentally, you won’t last or cope with the demands.
Leao can be turned into a great player. That link to Arsenal is far more suited than Ivan Toney. Toney doesn’t look like he needs to learn anything new, he looks like he’s learnt everything he needs to be the player he is; that’s the biggest problem right there.
When you link players to Arteta’s team, think like this 👍🏾
Gyokeres has delivered on every stage he performed , except brighton because they didnt give him time , that consistency has been there
It's a known fact that Arteta identified Dusan Vlahovic as the ideal striker of choice for his front line, and with Gyokeres being the closest in profile to the big Serbian from all the strikers banded around as being linked to Arsenal, logic dictates that some credibility exists in the notion of a pursuit for him.
With regards to Leao, I remain convinced that Arteta's intention when we sought to buy Mudryk wasn't in order to have him replace Martinelli on the left wing, but to develop him to play through the middle as a striker in best utilising his rapid pace and attacking instinct in conjunction with those of the Brazilian, and as such he may well be revisiting the same idea with the Portuguese.
I think ars fans have preferences this summer but think we've all seen with Benny Blanco Kai etc just trust there talent Id. I'm down for whoever they want too bring in

Eh Havertz has been good mostly but still got it all to prove. 18 months after signing Jesus & Zinchenko people are talking about replacements. Vieira has flopped so far. Ramsdale was good but already been replaced.

I’m from Coventry I’ve seen loads of gyokeres the man’s class but not at 100Mill we could’ve bought him off city for £25 in the summer, he’s perfect build for prem strong tall quick and good technically but he isn’t technical enough for that price tag

Re: The Mo Salah story. If I'm Liverpool, I'm telling Al-Ittihad or any Saudi club, 100m or no deal. 100mil for Gyokeres is justified. Physical, Clinical, 1v1 no problem, smart. If you want a player with such qualities you need to accept the price tag.

He doesn’t have the legs and energy to bring a press that Arteta needs. Our attackers defend more than the defenders! Pause and think about that. Toney is not the guy.
My best bet is Victor Osimeneh. Nothing comes close to him to be honest. If not, I don’t see Arteta buying a striker. He’ll strengthen elsewhere and keep Havertz and Jesus, and most likely bring a striker type of winger with a heavy work rate and goals and assists, with a lot of pace.
I’ve seen these other strikers and I’m not convinced. We’re definitely not buying a passenger. We don’t need a striker like Harry Kane, Lewandowski, a Halaand, no. It’s not about goals; it’s about stopping teams from playing against us.
BTW, we don’t have a problem with goals at all! What Arteta’s doing to all the players means next season someone like Havertz will be more prolific, Jesus will continue to be a KEY player for us!
Leao would cost a lot and I don't think he's great. Poor season, not prolific, a pace merchant. We already have Trossard who imo is better than Leao
I don't see arsenal going for gyokeres and leao in the same window unless we win the champions league because they are both going to cost more than 100 million.
There's plenty of players on the way out likely. If we sell Tierney, lakonga, smith Rowe, nelson, nketia and partey that will be plenty to finance these two.
£86M for him so we can probably get him for close to £80M and Leao will be expensive so it will be below but not far off £200M unless Leao’s contract is running out soon.
The release clause means as soon as the money is met they can talk to the player and skip over the club so it’s whoever the player likes more at that point.

Arsenal should bring back Mika Biereth who is on Loan. The boy is a lethal striker clinical finisher. He will be a fantastic addition to the squad. Arsenal should also get Jarrod Bowen from WestHarm United to create competition for Saka. He is really good.👌
