Boom. No music. No drama. Just here is what the video says it is. Thank you!

This video has been absolutely hopeful and much appreciated. After a state inspection my mechanic said that I have an electric parking brake and that it requires a special scanning tool to change the rear pads and rotors. I knew that there had to be a better more affordable way and your video was on point. I would like to recommend to the viewers that if you try to do this by memory the timing might not be right and you won’t get the outcome that you want so do it as you follow along with the video and it will work.

Taking out of maintenance mode for the 2021 f150 is a slight change, don’t have to click ok at all, but you need 4 limbs, right hand on push start button, right foot on gas throttle, left hand pull on E brake(applied position), and this is new, left foot step on brake peddle for 1 second and release

I learned something yea. Thanks for your time and video. I did this procedure to change my pads and subsequently found my passenger side brake line is leaking. So I have to replace this soon. Thanks for the information. Good video!

I was successful in putting in maintenance mode thank you, but I’m having trouble taking it out of maintenance mode, I’m not getting the inactive response like you get 2021 f150 xlt

What would be the point of this? Does this just kinda disengage it so you can remove it/fix it?

Yes. Since you have electric parking brakes, you need to release the mechanism at the rear wheels in order for you to successfully do a brake job and get the calipers off. Go thru this process, put vehicle in maintenance mode, do the brake job, then put it back into service like this video explains. Otherwise, you'll not be able to compress the calipers so that they'll fit on the new rotors. This process is not optional, it's mandatory And for this video, . THUMBS UP!!

😂 You took a 10 second chore and turned it into 4 minutes. Good video tho. By the way... I don't think you need to wait 10 seconds. I did what you instructed but did it in 2-3 seconds...same result.
