I respect that they stuck with the original lyrics and didn't change them to things like "girl, just come along". A confidence that wouldn't have been present 10-15 years ago.
I remember listening to a male band cover 'I Kissed A Girl' by Katy Perry twelve years ago, and they changed boyfriend to girlfriend, so it became a song about a guy cheating on his girlfriend rather than a woman exploring her sexuality :/

I love how seamlessly he can switch from singing to sing speaking and its just so flawless. His tone and pitch are like always perfect. It's incredible and so interesting and makes for such a lovely vibe.

The way they arranged the main Chorus is so much better, loved that they added it to the intro and an extra towards the end. The original only plays the main chorus 3 times.
