@@johnstrika9170 This take on Thibs is pure laziness. There are guys like Bruce Brown - someone the Nuggets sorely missed this year, that want to play for Thibs. Yes, please monitor Thibs so Bodonavich plays 15 seconds instead of 20 seconds before someone dives on his ankle. The Bucks came in with no Dame and no Giannis. Should the Bucks be on Doc Rivers case managing minutes. The Heat entered the first round with Butler and Rozier. Should the Heat take a deeper look at how Spoelstra handles his players minutes?
This is the playoffs and injuries happen. Would you rather have a team ravaged with injuries miss the playoffs completely ie. Memphis. Or would you rather have a team missing their starting small forward, power forward, and center fight and get the two seed and take a team to 7 games in the second round?

I used to call Steve all the time. Sal was producer. He always put me through! I met Steve twice. Once at the Astoria studios, another at Yankee Stadium. Great person!

Knicks were gonna lose any way with brunson or not
Brunson breaking his left hand in the 3rd quarter actually released my disappointment over the Game 7 loss. Keep in mind Brunson's a lefty, not that an NBA point guard can play with either hand broken. Imagine Brunson broke his hand the same, yet the Knicks found a way to come back and win the game. The Knicks would then be going to the conference finals against the Celtics with no Brunson, which would be a mortal blow even with an otherwise healthy roster, no Anunoby, or at least a very limited Anunoby who'd be one tweak away from hurting his hamstring worse, a limited Hart, and of course no Randle, Robinson, or Bogdanović. The Celtics would be getting a free pass to the Finals. After Brunson left the game with an injury that he wouldn't have come back from this post-season, it was just better for everyone for the Pacers to win and move on. Losing Game 7 without the injuries would have been a huge disappointment. Losing Game 7 with the injuries, most of all Brunson's, was just time for the 2023-2024 Knicks season to end.
Injury free team smokes Pacers. Sucks but even if they won they still would of gotten beaten fairly quick with all the injuries. Rebound & restart
If we won the game we would’ve played Celtics with nobody. Great season. Now go rest and regroup.
Basically, Indiana beat the Knicks C team in seven games. Had the Knicks stayed healthy, they would have blitzed these posers.

It is an excuse. How do the Knicks make it to game 7 if all the injuries where that bad. Knicks flat out blew it.
@@wraynephew6838 they didnt happen all at once. They kept getting more injuries as the series progressed.
@@wraynephew6838 They haven’t been healthy enough to win since game 5, obviously. And only won that because Brunson took a shot in the locker room.
@@wraynephew6838 Knicks probably win that series in 5 if Anunoby doesn't go down. After he went out it was yet another guy down and in addition to being undermanned, they were also ridiculously undersized all over the place. That wasn't talked about enough. Five players playing HUGE minutes and only one was over 6'5". Hart couldn't check Siakam on the block, etc.
