When I first got this tank it was a bit difficult to use, but it was still fun. I've had a lot of practice with it, and it's one of my favorite tanks. The super Pershing is my baby!
Using a fully upgraded and maxed out crew on Tiger 1 I was surprised when my normal armor-piercing shots penetrated the turret ring at 200m-300m twice before getting the message to just hide from my shots.
I say remove premium shells all together but WG won't do that because it'll hurt their pockets.
MOPAR Or No Car / ABRAMS Or No Tank You can buy premium shells with in game credits. And every single player I know does exactly that. Only a dummy would fire real money at enemy tanks. Why spend gold on something that is available for free?.
I don't like it to get shot with premium shells. Like any Player in world of tanks. But hey on the other hand, they give me a chance of fighting vehicles that I wouldn't stand a chance against with regular ammo.

First time I saw this tank was on greatest tank battles...as soon as I got world of tanks it was the first premium I bought, even though there are things like the scorpion G. It's still and amazing tank

SuperPershing is amazing in Blitz, with spd provisions, you don't need to worry about spd anytime soon and it's essentially a faster E5 in tier VIII

Although its feature being "heavily armoured" is what made this tank universaly hated by players who bought this tank, i still find this tank rather enjoyable, sure it's immobile, (sometimes) unreliable but, once you know hwo to play this, it's a monster, believe me
I slammed on a turbocharger and it perfectly counters the mobility issues

awasome tank just bought it 2 days ago and have 15 battles with it and did 4100 damage in a battle of tier 9!

Ok this a new thing making mad. So 9.10 just came out. Jumped into my Super P and every HEAT shell is penning even angled on the frontal hull armor. And even AP has no problem anymore. Did they micro nerf the spaced armor?
When I first got it I was unsure but then I put my M4 Sherman (on their 4th crew skill) crew in there and this is one of my favorite tanks. Def worth calling a Damn Yankee. Even before imo the unneeded armor buff.

can u test the Ap2 shell? since uve tested it on APCR and AP1, the Ap2 has more damage and armor thingy than the original AP, and the other Ap (Ap2), is premiume.
the super pershing was hard in 9.8.but now everything penetrate my lower plate.

For anyone looking at this comment in the future, if you're going to get a premium, the Super Persh is definitely the one I'd recommend.
It's very simple, it's not fast enough to get you into trouble, it's definitely got quirks you won't get on the tech tree tanks of its line, it won't put you up against tier X, and it's very, very effective once you learn it. My Super Persh is one of my all-time favorite tanks.

Since your company "Re balanced" this tank, most of this video is wrong. This is false advertising. IS3's pen you with regular AP rounds. I want my goddamn money back.
I want my money back too! I bought two Super Pershing's, one for myself and one for a relative. With the front armor being heavily nerfed, it can now no longer fairly compete at tier VIII. Over $60 of my money, wasted! Will I ever buy a Premium tank from Wargaming? Not unless the give me a refund for this heavily nerfed tank and they are refusing to provide a refund to me. The moral of the story seems to be don't buy Premium tanks anymore!
through this trailer you would think super P is very good tank, but in fact if you meet one good player he punches through tat armor every single time as long as he has more than 175 pen

You should buff the t26e5's frontal hull armor, it truly needs it, otherwise it doesn't stand a chance against tier 9 and 10

Not anymore. The front armor was heavily nerfed. This tank can no longer brawl with tanks it faces. Wargaming is refusing to provide refunds to the people who spent money on this tank.

When I played the T26E4 super Pershing in my phone (WoTb) it's like a freaking light tank and it feels like an tank only whit armor of: front:40mm and side:32mm but it's fun to play though.

My beloved Super Pipi. Still the premium ammo is verry expensive on it. 4400 for 240 damage ,and on T34 is 4800 for 400+ damage :/
The gun on this tank should do more alpha damage. The tiger two hits more than this tank.

With the Super Pershing having its front armor heavily nerfed, Premium rounds are no longer needed to penetrate it.
In Blitz, the turret can be penetrated I'd say quite easily,even with the LB1 it can be penned
I’m a console player, and I definitely prefer the T34 over the super Pershing.
Of course, our meta is different all around. I can get my T34’s reload down to 9.2 before rations and the adrenaline rush skill.

the way HEAT works...its completely useless vs. any kind of spaced armor. APCR is your only shot. Unless you got a shot at the turret hatch (which is behind the spring tube)
What are those 2 Long cans on the turret of the t26e4?
Hydraulics to hold on to its turret spaced armor. It's not a weakspot, but the cupola behind it is, so you can use it as a clue to where you can pen the tank.
They are basically springs which support the weight of the gun and gun mantle. The yankees needed a fast and easy solution

The problem of the Super Pershing is not the shitty mobility or the low penetration. Its problem is the combination of the mentioned bad mobility and the lack of firepower overall. The gun is absolutely garbage, an underwhelming rate of fire combined with crappy penetration and unreliable accuracy.
It would be absolutely no problem for its game balancing if you would give the Super Pershing:
- A higher rate of fire
- or more penetration (via standard APCR for example)
The gun of the SP in reality fired APCR as standard ammunition. Which would be a fine solution for the ingame variant.
Of course you can not give a tier 8 premium medium tank 258mm of penetration. But you could at least adjust this, to, lets say, about 210-215mm.
You would still have the handicap of the low mobility and therefore no real chance for flanking or other typical medium stuff, but it would at least fix the problems with the gun and support the tanks strenghts better. Therefore the tank would still be balanced.
In my opinion, this would make the tank more round up and fun to play.

players buy this so they don't have to worry about angling armour. Now days there are tanks with high enough pen to go through the front head on which negates the purpose of this tank. this vehicle is not worth buying!

+Jorn Hendriks springs to hold the gun because the gun was too long for that tank. Just a note: they dont count as a hitbox BUT the comanders hatch behind is. if you see a SuperPershing with its front to you theres only 3 good places to shoot and the commanders hatch is one so if you shoot at the sprigs from the front, you will hit the hatch behind the springs

I have the AMX CDC a tank that has a gun that can pen any other tank in the game except three or four, the tiger 2, E75, and the Maus, every other tank in the game is paper against its gun.
I have a Super Pershing and I can not recommend anyone buying it anymore. Don't waste your money. The front armor has been drastically reduced. It can no longer effectively brawl with tanks it typically faces, as this video claims. 04:11 - "If you calculate the effective armor on its upper front plate, it comes out at a daunting 300 mm". As of today, the 3D Model armor analyzer at www.Tanks.gg now shows it to be only about 188-250 mm thick, not the advertised 300 mm. In battles vs. Super Pershing's, I have been able to easily penetrate the front armor with my Jagdtiger 8.8 tier VIII TD, which only has 203 mm of penetration and it's penetrating the front upper plate and not just the machine gunners view port weak point. If the armor really was an effective 300 mm, that would not be possible. Many tier VIII, IX and X tanks can now incinerate the Super Pershing with ease. As Tanks.gg shows, the lower plate has also had the effective armor drastically reduced to as little as 184 mm in spots. It's certainly nowhere close to 300 mm anymore, as this W.o.T. video claims. The Super Pershing's great ability to brawl was its calling card, but now after the front armor has been greatly reduced, it can't brawl anywhere near as well as it used to. The Super Pershing is now not good at *anything*. I have asked for my money back, but Wargaming refuses to provide this customer satisfaction to me. Over $30 of my money for this tank, *wasted*. The apparent moral of the story is don't buy Premium tanks anymore. Here is the Tanks.gg link to the armor analyzer for the Super Pershing showing how thin the effective front armor is now --> tanks.gg/tank/t26e4/model As of today, 9/19/2017, at www.VBAddict.net, shows the Super Pershing has a winning percentage of only 46.94%, putting it all the way down to only 88th place out of 92 tier VIII tanks in winning percentage. That's horrendously bad. Pay money for this tank? This tank is very slow and has poor mobility, making it difficult to relocate, or back up out of enemy fire. The engine power is so poor that it has a very low 9.89 power/weight (hp/t) as shown at --> tanks.gg/tank/t26e4/stats This tank is now very mediocre, at best, which is why it has such a terrible winning percentage. It used to have excellent frontal armor and that was a fair trade off for the very poor engine power and speed, (climbing hills needs a grappling hook and chain to pull it up the hill), but with the, "developers", nerfing the front armor, in my opinion it has destroyed this tank and it can't fairly compete at its tier anymore, which again is why it has such a poor winning percentage. I see no reason whatsoever to buy this tank, or any Premium tank anymore, as the, "developers", can nerf it. Bait and switch. What a horrible way to treat your customers. If Wargaming continues on like this, disrespecting customers, (I feel), I can't see them staying in business. You don't treat customers like this and expect a business to succeed.
