Dude I don't understand why you got your hands on that tubing. Your hand on there is pointless it don't do nothing, can't believe the operators letting you do it too, Anyone on a rig knows about metal splinters 😂 you'll learn when you meet one.

Prolly feeling for deep grooves from the rods. My guess is there pulling pipe because theres a hole in the tubing somewhere. And hes feeling for deep grooves and replaces those ones. Notice the pipe laying on the ground behind the operator? Thats extra replacement tubing in case he finds some worn down bad. Thats just a guess tho. Could be anything. Used to work the rigs. Good money but hard work.

@@marcusslaughter3072 first thing I would say is nothing you have ever done will be as hard as this. Listen when people are trying to teach you something, do whatever they ask as fast as you van, do not go slow. If you have nothing to do and people are to busy to tell you what to do. Dont be a pest, grab a rag start cleaning, get as much rest as you possible can you will need it. Never let your fellow brothers work without offering to help. A good driller will be patient up to a point. But your going to be making a lot of money. I am now on a drilling rig making 15,000$ a month, half of that is tax free. Woth only 3 months exp get out service rigs get onto drilling rigs. Work harder than everybody on your crew, dont ask for breaks, just keep working hard fast, you will be ok. Take lots food with you for lunch, eat as healthy as you can, drink a lot of water avoid energy drinks you will crash hard when you get to use to them.
