- So i finally meet up with a buddy on this trip and fished an amazing high country spring creek set in some amazing scenery. big brown trout and the odd rainbow trout smashed dry flies all day long.

Cool creek. We hiked into a small creek as it flowed into a large lake and it was like a jungle in there. . NZ has all kinds of creeks and rivers. Some day they will let us come back!
