The nostalgia that I feel in this, is literally so painful. Gosh, I remember lying in bed watching this anime when I would get sick and my parents couldn't take care of me. My best friend Arthur would come in and lay with me and we'd watch it, or well, he'd lay back with me while I slept through it. He would always keep track of what episode I was on. I remember when the anime ended back what seems like forecer ago in my life, and I remember being so distraught not knowing what to watch... I wish that I could just go back to that time, when life was so much easier and Arthur was still by my side. Soutanshi is such a beautiful song, and listening to this part of it, with lyrics, its just so emotional, reminds me of all those death scenes that make you really question everything. The year InuYasha: The Final Act came out was the year that Arthur killed himself...When I watch it, the emotions I feel are so strong knowing that he is still with me... I don't think it is a coincidence me stumbling in on this video. I hope that he's watching over me.

This song is truly beautiful. Whenever I felt lonely, listening to it always gave me hope. Your voice is absolutely beautiful and the lyrics really pull at the heartstrings.
I was going through a really tough time when I visited my family in Pakistan after not seeing them for 4 years only to find out we no longer connect. My sister conspired against me with me cousin and they left me out on purpose, although we all got along really well in the beginning. At this point in time, I felt really horrible because I had no one to talk to. This lullaby was the only thing that let me sleep at night.
Everyone in my family has covid-19, except me so I can't see them for a while. Minutes ago I realized that this means I am going to be all alone on my birthday, as I am not permitted to leave the house or be in the same room with my family. I always celebrated my birthday so this realization was difficult. Even so, my first instinct was to play this song, and to this day, it makes me feel better. I first heard this song 4 years ago, and it consoles me to this day. It means so much to me, thank you.
I CRIED SO HARD... I wish the manga gave us more details on Inumon and Inuyasha's childhood, I feel like a lot of people don't really take his past as a child into consideration as much as they should because it was not explored that much in canon, unfortunately...

my husband and i love Inuyasha, it was one of our favorite things we first bonded over. when i first found your cover when you posted it 8 years ago, i would sing it to hubby when he couldnt sleep. we will be celebrating our 17 year anniversary in May.

Whenever I listened to this, I'll be overcome with a waves of nostalgia. When my brother was little, I often sung this song to soothe him to sleep. He always asked for more and I would always repeated it.
He's already ten, now. And I just can't cope with the fact that he's grown so much and in no time he will be a teenager.

Just found this song, and my word. I couldn't help the tear from coming out of my eye. How I miss those days when I would marathon this series. From learning on how this all started as a half breed being pinned to a tree, all the way to the death of Naraku and everyone being together, and everything in between. Inuyasha will forever has a special place in my heart and no matter how many animes I watch over the years, and how many stories I watch, this one right here will forever be ingrained in me. No matter how long its been, I always find something to bring me back and remind me of my love for this story.
The lyrics to this song is so extremely pretty, relaxing, and claming. I can really see his mother singing those lyrics to him, especially to comfort him from everything that happened to him when he was younger. I nearly cried when I heard this song. :) I think that you definitely got the feelings his mother would probably be feeling for him when singing this song really accurate, and you also have a really pretty voice. :D
Literally if I had to choose one anime I've been super sad since finishing, it would be inuyasha. I was watching a video of this anime this morning, and I saw a cover of "come little children" then I saw this and squealed!!!!! I love it!!!!
It would have been so cute to see a scene where Kagome sings this song to her and inuyasha's children and inuyasha hears the song and watches. I can imagine Kagome sitting under a tree with one of her children laying on her lap and the other ones leaning on her shoulders and inuyasha is looking for Kagome and the kids because he had to do something and was worried. But then he hears the song his Mother used to sing to him and he follows the music and sees Kagome and their kids sitting under a tree. He first gets shocked but then he smiles sweetly and watches and listens standing behinde a tree.

This anime brings so many feels, as I saw it when I was 3 and thought Inuyasha was a very masculine Cat woman or feminine cat man. I remember seeing the Opening I want to change the world.
