For the brutes
It's better to tower 3 blocks up and use the lava bucket
Cuz you will trigger the normal piglin by hiting a brute

@@charannotfound5006 piglin brute or any mob can attack with 2 block and the lava will help piglin brutes do this , so place 4 block will be safer
My best tip for bastions is to use lava on the brutes so you don't anger the normal piglins when you kill the brutes. Just be careful handling the lava.
Or boats! Trap them and either kill them or leave them there
one can even use flint and steel! I use flint & steel when I barter with piglins, and their kids come and steal the gold xD

Another tip when raiding nether fortresses or bastion remnants : Make a small and safe base camp on the side and remember that respawn anchors exist.

Early game basic mobfarm if you find a dungeon/spawner, preferably skeleton, as mobs that spawn holding a weapon drop more xp.
Mid game farming nether quarz is decently effective.
Lategame, which you can probably reach within a couple of hours, enderman farm in the end.
Endgame you could make an automatic xpfarm using dogs to kill enemies, or a furnace xp farm to instantly withdraw large amounts of exp with no effort. Furnace farms are very slow tho, but its a luxury to have if you rarely need xp anymore
Good early xp farm is small pigman trap, it gives a ton of xp and you can build it in 2 minutes. Mid game is when you should build enderman xp farm in the end, everybody probably knows that its the most effective. The end game farm is the big pigman/gold farm above nether roof, it takes like 2h to build but its amazing i got to lvl1000 with it, best thing you can build in survival.

if anyone is having trouble finding the gold blocks in bastions, i recommend looking up speedrunning bastion routes. you don't need to pay attention to the routes themselves, it'll just give you a good idea of where most of the gold blocks are and how to safely loot them. videos like these will be in 1.16.1 so they won't account for piglin brutes, so make sure to keep a lava bucket on you! easiest way to kill brutes imo, just place lava in between you and the brutes so they get burnt. this won't even anger regular piglins if you don't hit the brutes directly. boats are good too, like placing boats in front of them so they enter the boat on accident and are stuck in it.

I recommend bringing a lava bucket into the bastion. If a piglin brute runs at you, just place the lava between you and the brute. Easiest way to kill it
just play on 1.16.1 and enjoy no brutes

Another useful tip for bastions is to bring a few boats with you. If a couple of piglin brutes are running at you, you can place down a boat and trap them in it, and since they don’t have any ranged attacks they won’t be able to hit you unless you get close to them. So you can either leave them there or safely kill them from a distance with a bow
I wanted to mention that in the hoglin stables bastion, the upper part actually consists of 3 parts, each of them having 3 different ways to generate: A single chest, a double chest and a triple chest. The triple chest has 4 gold blocks in a small floor under it. In the lower part of the upper part, sounds weird I know, there are two different ways to generate with this type of bastion: A good gap, and a bad gap. Essentially, the good gap has gold in it, around 10 blocks, and the bad gap has one chest.
Edited cause brainlag, I thought the ruin part of a housinbg rampart also generated at a stables bastion.

I raided my first bastion literally yesterday, and you guys helped me out a ton! Thanks guys!
The way I loot bastion remnants is by spawning a bunch of iron golems in there. Then you can lead the brutes to them and get them killed, the brutes are strong, but the golems are way stronger, this way you also avoid aggrevaring the piglins, since you're not the one killing the brutes. And once all the brutes are dead, you can just do whatever you want since there's only a limited amount of then in each bastion and they don't respawn. I've done this quite a few times and it works every time. Idk why no one else talks about this...
Might used this idea when i finally got my iron farm working. Also how much iron Golems did you spawn per temple?
@@haydarali8444 I spawned about 3-4 golems per bastion, but you could essentially get the job done with just one, if you keep repairing it with iron ingots.
@@haydarali8444 also, I recommend building ianxofour's iron farm, it's really easy to build and matches the rates of far more complicated ones.

Little tips from random dude on the internet:
When you're going into the Fortress for the first time,make sure to bring Fire Resistance potions from Piglin trading.Also if you enchant a single piece of armor (lets say leggings) with Fire Resistance it will have the same effect as fully enchanted Fire Resistance armor (Same applies for Blast Protection).Also bring boats to trap Wither Skeletons and Piglins,it will come in handy.

snowballs are also effective against blazes in early game.
replacement for the shield is fire resistance potion. cuz, when you have fire res, blazes cant damage you.
TIP for raiding bastions in early game: have a bunch of chests and a hopper. when its single chest, you have 100% chance that under it is gilded blackstone. place your chest next to, to make a doble chest, and under this chest place a hopper. same with natural generated double chests, but just look where is no gilded blackstone.

bare minimum you need are just blocks, and an iron pick. though its recommended to have a lava bucket and thats pretty much it, you dont need a bow or a shield if you do the routing correctly

Hey! I just loved the vid! There is like no video I have missed of urs. U guys are so amazing and have so good tutorials for farms I wanted some help in the cow king’s stacking raid farm :( I tried building it but it is so hard I would love if u can make a tutorial for it :)
I remember when you guys were like 50k (don’t remember the exact sub) or something I remember searching up cobble gen and finding yours keep up de good work
You should always carry at least 2 boats in your hotbar when looting bastions, that way if brutes are running after you, you can place down the boat, and if the brute makes contact with the boat, it gets stuck in it. Brutes try to pathfind in a straight line towards the player if possible, meaning if you place a boat between yourself and it, it will be guaranteed to get stuck unless you break the boat or something else walks into the boat. This works with piglins, skeletons and wither skeletons too.

The problem is that I always get ambushed by brutes in corridors and I can rarely see properly in bastions because of the dark textures.
To see better make sure to have your in game brightness up and you could use a texture pack that makes the textures lighter.
@@cobaltbluesky2276 Brightness isn't the problem, I just find it hard to see depth in bastions. Especially because of random blocks due to the broken structure.

Even better than just a bow and shield in the nether fortress, you can use potions! Make it with magma cubes and you won’t burn when hit by Blazes. They’re basically harmless unless you get close to them (they hit you up close)

One great method to deal with piglins is to leash, or boat a zombie pigman with you. Piglins are scared of them, and won't attack you when you break chests, or gold blocks, since they will run away. Pigmen are also fire resistant, so you can safely use lava to kill the brutes, whil not risking hitting the pigman.
The most important thing that you can take with you, is Potion of turtlemaster, which is EXTREMELY OP That makes you an invinsible and you can easily loot
bastions with this potion. Its very good btw.
Yes, but it's also difficult to get materials for it when your at a stage where bastion and fortress loot is the best way to go

tip if your trying to get the netherite smithing template from the treasure room bring a lava res potion and just stay in lava until u get out ( u might need more then 1 potion )

and the most important one: remember to put your chestplate on whenever you raid dangerous structures. Use your elytra only when flying or in the safe place (like your base)

Also notice stables vary a lot, there might not be chests at top ramparts, also there are gaps a good gap with gold and bad gap with chests, the gaps are important as they can completely change the worth of a stables.

Something you didn't mention: the lava well room is the room that dovides the inside and the outside of the fortress. If you are in the inside part and you want to find the outside part (this works especially if the fortress is buried or partially buried, because you probably wont need to know this if your fortress is totally open) you should keep in mind that: when you find a balcony go in the opposite direction of the balcony, if you find stairs (without nether wart) go up, if you find stairs with nether wart go down (in the direction that the stairs point, not in the behind-under direction.
Also you did a good job explaining the gold location in bastions, but you didnt for example say that in the "hoglin stables"bastion on top of the triple chest ramparts (its not guaranteed that they always have one, the min is 0 amd the maximum is 3, be cause there are 3 ramparts,) there are 4 gold blocks (near chiseled blackstone bricks). The stables variant can also be the bastion with less gold out of all the 4 types if you are unlucky because, no triple chest ramparts are guaranteed, and also the gold at the bottom isnt guaranteed because both the right and left gaps can spawn woth or without gold (when theres no gold in the "gaps" theres a chest tho). And last, but not least, always carry a lava bucket with you when explorong a bastion, becajse with it you can kill piglins without making them angry and without luring all the bastion's piglins to you
