I just subscribed. Just got done viewing a few of your videos. Diggin the info... it’s Sunday, post 4th of July fir me and I might just make it an M.P. marathon today. Yard work can wait😜
I did my alignment two days ago, my shop told me I need to change the camber plate. So far, i am using the aftermarket wheels and they can only adjust front camber to -1.4
They should definetly be able to get around -2.0 but with the aftermarket wheels it may be running into the strut during knuckle adjustment; I would try another shop that specializes in race alignments
I set my front toe opposite of you -.03 to -.05 total -.1 and similar to you rear. I'm going to try my front settings in the rear at an autox but not on track. Had it at zero and corner exit it wanted to oversteer but I want that on autox. When I changed rear toe to positive corner exit was less oversteer for sure
My car pulls left with acceleration and quickly right with deceleration. Nothing is loose and have had 3 different shops do and check the alignment it's all good. And ideas? It's a 2023 with 600 miles, with camber plates, lowering springs, all rear adjustable control arms and solid end links. I can't figure it out????
I have 2019 2SS 10spd.over 100 mph the car feels very loose like it will oversteer on slightest turns..bmr springs .75 inch lowered. Frnt/back...what's a good alignment for better unenthusiastic driving.
Hey buddy, why does it has to use negative for the track? When you use negative does your tire wears out more?
Same questions
Camber won’t affect much tire wear in my experience. Get toe positive near 0 and there shouldnt be any problems. So far few thousands miles on the tire with -2 front and the outer sidewall has slightly more wear than inside because I use it 1-2 times a month on the track. If you like to drive your camaro hard actually I would suggest you keep the track alignement for DD as it will help wear thr tire evently. Hope it helps
?
You want negative camber on the track to have a larger contact patch in hard turns. Also, if you tend to do mountain runs & whatnot, you’ll likely get better tire wear from negative camber than going with the recommended street setting. On my SS 1LE I got better tire wear on the street using the track alignment settings. I just set my ZLE to the track alignment as well but the -2.7 camber may be too much on the street? I’m not sure yet
You adjust camber from the top of the tower?
Are you still tracking???
I've moved up to a ZL1/1LE also,,
I've went six times this summer including Daytona, Road ATL next over Thanksgiving.
What are those extra looking fender flares on the front of the car?
They are GM Z06 Fender Flares
lol finally someone asked!!
@@RR-lm7tk I got them used from someone local, but I believe they can be had on eBay or direct from GM 23315197, 23315196
Where are the adjustments for the front camber for the 1le? I took it to Firestone and the guy couldn't find how to adjust them. I'm only like 0.1 front for camber.
The adjustment is the top bolt of the knuckle; I would suggest going to a different shop, easily should get -2.3
@@macpettit2327 that's what I was thinking? Can you share a picture to my Instagram. I'm going to take it back. The tech said I need camber bolts, but it's to get more camber 🤦♂️. He said he didn't see any adjusters. My IG is lee_1le_
@@macpettit2327 what's the name of your shop for alignment? I'll have my shop call them for details.
hey mac, can you start link your instagram? Cant find you on the gram, thanks.
