DarkDizzle845 Welcome to the Hibees family!! I was there, one of the best days of my life, they won it when I was 11, but don't remember too much, I was 27 in this back in 2007. Amazing. 30,000 of us going nuts.
+Sam Bowman come on, YNWA is far better.....it's a he only song to be adopted by clubs around the world. Liverpool, Celtic and borussia Dortmund all use it because it's unmatched
+Sam Bowman because hibs have such a rich history of being European Champions haha. let's not get our panties in a twist and compare the two...it ridiculous. fact is the hubbies tune is repetitive and does not build a crescendo the same
Spurs fan for over 50 years - great song - unbelievable singing - brings tears to my eyes - what football is all about and should always be about - fans singing in unison at a joyous moment and the fact that the players and management stood and soaked in the moment with the people who should always matters - the FANS
I'm a Buddie living in Dublin these days, this is beautiful. One of my favourite songs sung by a Scottish Club. I can never imagine either of the Old (in)Firm making me smile so much. Well Done Hibees !!
I love this, what a song, it gives me goosebumps listening to the Hibs fans singing it, from an NUFC fan. I hope to be at Easter Road next season to sing along. Any Hibs fans want to meet up for a drink just let me know.
***** good man davie, I met ally mccoist at the traffic lights 2 days ago, he put his window down ,I told him I was a celt but I had the utmost respect for him and he was a legend ,really nice guy spoke away as if he was my best pal ,total gent
All clubs have a song, and every club needs a heart, and songs like this gives the true fans a heartbeat. A beautiful moment. All the best from a Blade
Every fan of another team who has commented on this video is an absolute legend. What an amazing song. So many goosebumps listening to it. 'Mon the Hibees.
Well done dougie Donnelly for having the great sense to let the cameras run and show this ..what a great song and a great memory not just for hibs fans but for all Scots

Best day of my life...what a performance from Hibs that day. I remember bellowing out Sunshine on Leith that day with tears in my eyes. Sung it a few times since then at Hampden Greatest club on the planet as far as i'm concerned
This has got to be what football should be about, forget the hatred and the animosity. The look on the faces of fans, players, management, everyone. No one likes to lose but when you can celebrate a win like this, it's hard not to smile.
+Brian Shaw Its what all sport should be about, that's why I enjoy rugby since the fans are amazing. Its also why I hate both Celtic and Rangers since the fans are scum.
In the late 70's and early 80's I had a rough time being an English boy growing up in rural Aberdeenshire where football reigned supreme. Rugby Union was my love. I still don't care for football or my memories of that time but full respect where it is due; Hibees and their anthem is the best I have ever heard any crowd sing. Be proud of yourselves and never stop singing... you are the best in the UK. Wish my local premiership rugby team fans learn from you.
I'm a Celtic fan and have heard walk on at parkhead bs Liverpool on the road to the Seville final and that was fantastic...this makes my the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and want so much to be part of it...thoroughly deserved trophy for hibs...well done
Hi Hibs fans. Although i am a hun rangers fan i want to say that this song is the best song that goes with any footy team. Watching you guys sing this after that game was very emotional. Great song and the way you sang it was superb. Congratulations on that win and i hope you have some more to come.
I have tears in my eyes. This is my wife and my song, and here in America nobody knows it, it's not selfish or arrogant enough for most American's tastes. To see an entire stadium singing it with passion is incredible. If this is what Scotland's like, I want over on the next boat.
Ace video - I had to just take a deep breath, hold down my scarf and just try to take it all in while everyone was singing this at the game. Had tears in my eyes at the time, and I'm sure I will the next 500,000 times that I see videos from Sunday or even just think about it. Absolutely incredible - a day I will never forget as long as I live (even if I did break down in the snow on the 220 mile trip home!)
Im a West Ham fan and half Scottish and am proud to be a wee bit Scottish. You fans make me proud. You guys sound so amazing. I hope i get to see a Hibs game just to see and hear you sing this song. Freakin awesome.
Love this from a Hibee in Birmingham England. Just what football should be about, no sectarian bullshit, just love for your club and the beautiful game of football!
Listening to this sends a tingle down my spine. Even more so since Saints won the Scottish cup. I now know how it feels. Sometimes fitba is just brilliant.
I'm Celtic through and through but I must say the Hibees rendition of Sunshine on Leith is spine tingling stuff. Brilliant and one of the the things scottish football should be proud of. I have been to Edinburgh derbys at Easter Road and when that gets played pre match its superb.
As a proper home and away irish leith hibee I watch this on a regular basis, brings a tear to the eye every time. This season, however, I just need to think about the Cabbage and I start crying. Full respect to all the proper fitba fans for all the positive comments, love it. What it is all about eh?
Love this, the Hibs fans deserve something to celebrate - as a Hearts fan, I hope Hibs get a bit of a run of form and go up with us - you guys via the play-off obviously ;)
I am so proud and privileged to have been just one of the Hibees family choir that day in 2007 and with a bit of lady luck on our side we'll have another rendition at the end of the game on the 26th May 2013. Good luck Hibs GGTTH
Love this......I'm a Falkirk fan but have and will always have a soft spot for the Hibees due to my grandad taking me to Easter Road when i was a wee boy. He supported the Hibs for 60 years and rarely missed a game at Easter Road wether it was the first team or the reserves, always enjoyed his half and half pint in the Albion bar before every game.....he wouldve loved every minute of this. You can see how much it meant to John Collins when he was walking round the pitch taking it all in.
i was at the scottish cup final. I follow Celtic everywhere, and yous are the first group of fans who had my hairs standing up outside of Celtic fans when yous sang this before kick off. Brilliant. Both sets of fans brilliant that day. Having a party when the jambos die :d
celtic fan here was at the cup final game today thought the hibs fans were terrific today sticking by your team till the end brilliant was lovely to see the full of hampden green and white
Classic from a celtic fan here, spine tingling just like you'll never walk alone. Fair play to use, hope to see a 3 way battle next season with hibs in the mix, football shall be the winner!
I used to be a hibee when i was a wee lad in the days of Keith Wright before i moved to dundee and became an arab!i remember me and my dad sang this all the time...Up the Hibees!
call it loonie or call it passion. Im a scottish immigrant to America and Americans although very passionate about there teams, you never see something like this maybe other than in chicago where i live or boston where the teams are massive but this is what fandom is all about that only that its about pride and family! What a great display! Love it.
From a Sydneysider and a Celtic fan, best of luck to the Hibees on Saturday (Sunday morning here). They say patience is a virtue but 110 years is far too long a wait for you guys.
Celtic fan here having just got home from todays Scottish Cup Final win against Hibs. Had we lost, this would've been some consolation listening to this. A truly outstanding athem. I really hope Hibs win the Scottish Cup sometime soon.
Celtic fan in total peace. I don't know what's more amazing - the sheer brilliance of this video, the amazing song, or the fact the BBC actually knew when to shut up for a change and let something magical play out!
I'm a Gers fan when it comes to Scottish football, but my Dad is a Hibs fan. Never turn down the chance to sing one or two of the songs when he plays them in the car, Great club.
mon the hibs, was at the game lost my voice, just watchin this bak sends shivers down my spine!!! hibs can have the best fans in scotland wen we want to be! we need to sing more! hopefully more glory to come! mon the hibees!!! :D
Top class. Just got referenced on 5Live's Fighting Talk by Colin Murray in reference to great decisions made by broadcasters. Well done BBC for showing this moment - ITV take note.
Im Rangers through and through, but that is fantastic, a superb song and anthem, also gives me happy memories of helecopter Sunday When Rangers won the league in the last minute and the Gers fans sung along to it as well.
Fantastic wee set of fans here. Was at the Hibs v Barca game last night, and this song came on, great tune! Love barca, and also love Celtic. have a soft spot for the hibees, i feel we can be united in the grief of having to put up with Hearts and Rangers (even though there's nothing to worry about as far as footballing talent and good behaviour is concerned). Bravo!
I'm not a Hibs fan either. I had never heard this song before I heard about the Hibs fans singing it at the CIS. Checked it out, and loved it. This is the first time though I have actually heard the fans singing it and to be honest I have more than a tear in my eye. Beautiful moment that. Best football song ever. Be proud all Hibees!!
I'm not really a big football fan but my kids are both Hibees so I was at Hampden with them and the atmosphere during the match was amazing from where we were sitting :-))
I'm a Steaua Bucharest fan and even though the germans beat us in this week match of Europa League/UEFA CUP our 55.000 fans occupying the whole National Arena kept singing for the whole game. I was amazed because this rarely happends when our team is severely beaten. Wish they where singing this or You never go alone. But i'm a bit surprised that the irish men are singing a very emotional and soft song at the stadium.
As a Celtic fan this is just brilliant. To see fans who love thier club as much as I love mine....I hope we hear it again in May as you walk the cup around Hampden.
This is real fans appreciating real effort. well done hibs and their fans. not one sign of hatred, anger, vitriol or malice, just football fans celebrating with huge emotion.
Heard this on 5 live yesterday and its doing my head in,i'm no hibs fan but what is it with those Proclaimer boys, can't get the song out of my head,a truly uplifting song, good look on the 19th.
I met JC when I was picking up tickets for the Celtic 'game'. the lad had the decency to queue and all, as well as getting the hibs to play the best free flowing footy in the league. Good on him, a gent as well.
From a very proud Pompey fan ...... this version of this song stops me in my tracks every single time.... such pride and passion.....
Hibs you have just gained a new fan. As an American with Scottish ancestors this is one of the mos amazing things I've ever seen.
DarkDizzle845 Welcome to the Hibees family!! I was there, one of the best days of my life, they won it when I was 11, but don't remember too much, I was 27 in this back in 2007. Amazing. 30,000 of us going nuts.
+steven f surely best day was 21/05/16
I'm an Evertonian and it's rare you get fans singing a song that doesn't slag anyone else off, it's beautiful, fair play Hibs!
+Thomas Walsh Are you really an Evertonian???? have you never heard YNWA...Liverpools chant is probably the most spine tingling in the world...
+adambassmusic Not better than sol and I don't support hibs
+Sam Bowman come on, YNWA is far better.....it's a he only song to be adopted by clubs around the world. Liverpool, Celtic and borussia Dortmund all use it because it's unmatched
+adambassmusic You can't copy sol because it's got 'sunshine on leith' in it and ynwa is only more famous then sol because of Liverpools past success
+Sam Bowman because hibs have such a rich history of being European Champions haha. let's not get our panties in a twist and compare the two...it ridiculous. fact is the hubbies tune is repetitive and does not build a crescendo the same
Incredible anthem. That’s up there with the best of them. U could see it took John Collins breath away. Another new fan from Ireland 🇮🇪

Can I just say I love the way you's respected each other there, not often you see that between fans of the old firm from a St Johnstone fan
jose m
I'm a Hibby but I've always respected Ally; quality player, let down in management by an awful bunch of heid yins at Ibrox.
People standing together - what a beautiful sight. If we could only do the same when it really matters, we could change this world forever.
As a Celtic fan this gives me the same goosebumps as when I hear You'll Never Walk Alone. Special indeed, fair play Hibees!
All clubs have a song, and every club needs a heart, and songs like this gives the true fans a heartbeat. A beautiful moment. All the best from a Blade
I'm a Celtic fan but I got goosebumps when I watched this live at the time and it just gave me the shivers again. Cracking anthem.
