- Hibernian Fans singing The Proclaimers anthem Sunshine on Leith and Glory Glory on the 21 May 2016, after pumping the Zombies, aka Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final. First time won the Scottish Cup for 114 years, so this sing song is a bit special.
Celtic fan here but I I must admit to a tinge of envy hearing Sunshine on Leith. What a great song and for it to be penned by actual fans of Hibernian F.C. makes it even more special. It must have of course made Charlie and Craig very proud and emotional watching (and probably belting it out with the rest of the fans) this great scene.

I love the defiance of this scene. All those police lined up in front of them. The togetherness of a group of fans who have all seen their team achieve something that none of them had seen in their lifetime - oh to have been a Hibs fan on that day - the sense of achieving against the odds - that feeling is the best. When I watch this it reminds me of my brother who sadly passed away in the hospice in 2017 before he died he had seen hibs win that glorious cup and how he happy and very proud that day he even had a tear in his eye's that day. Because he said we've waited so long and now it came true no one can ever take this special day away from us hibs supporters we're one of a kind. Which is true the hibs supporters and footballers did Scotland proud that day and no scot will ever forget even the beautiful sun shine on Leith will be in my heart as well as my brothers even though he's not here anymore because he downloaded on his phone and I've got it on mine as a favourite.!!! 💖💖💖

I know one of the coppers who was on one of the horses, he's a former schoolmate and also had several mates who were on the pitch. Gutted I never made it myself, as I was working and missed my first Hibs major final since 1979. Still got finished in time to see it in the pub. Two of my colleagues got in before me to get time off for it and one is a Partick Thistle fan, rather than Hibs, though most his family are Hibbys, including his nephews you may have heard of. (Not The Proclaimers, think tennis!)
It wasn’t a guard of honour it was the conclusion of a pitch invasion at the end of the match when hibs fans invaded the pitch, attacked Rangers players and caused serious public disorder.

My dad never lived to see this day although he was a Hibs fan all his life. He told us we should be Hearts fans because we lived in the West of Edinburgh where Hearts reside. My entire family are all Hibs bar a couple. I traveled everywhere even at the lowest point in Hibs history and went to so many finals, semi-finals and others to see this day. This day came and I was in prison. I predicted Hibs would beat Rangers 3-2 and Kenny Miller would score for Rangers. I made a point not to watch it and to this day I never have to this day but I have watched the aftermath of the supporters. You will never understand how much this means deep inside to the heart this day.
I watch this video every so often as, whilst I'm a Leeds fan, this epitomises everything great about the joy football can bring to thousands.

Best day of my life, everyone was just so happy, grown men crying with joy, fans just together in happiness. It's something you will never experience again in your lifetime. This is what football is all about, we waited so long, we waited for our grandparents memory's and love for this club... Thank you to the eleven men, staff at Hibernian FC.... Witnessing pensioners jumping round like teenagers gave me nearly as much joy, as watching my own team win the cup at Wembley, which hasn’t happened since the nineties. Has to go down as the most spine chilling moment at a football ground ever.. Watched this loads of times. To think the Proclaimers happened to have written the perfect song in the era when Hibs would win the cup after 114 year wait and 10 previous fails as losing finalists makes it all the more poignant. The perfect game taking the lead, going 2 - 1 down and rallying to get the late winner. Goosebumps stuff. The sun shone on the crowd too. Just perfect. Does make me smile though. All the rivalry with the 'Us English' and the people of your great nation end up fighting with each other. Who is the enemy anyway? Time to put all that division to bed, unite and embrace the humanity of this joyous experience. I bet the Rangers fans who have seen this since, wish they'd have stuck around and joined in the incredible wall of sound.

Love all the support from fans of other teams - real football fans who know what loyalty is. Damn I even saw a well done from a Hearts fan.
