Loving this like everything Dan Hawkins plays and teaches.
Can't wait to practice this morning. Thank you Dan the bass man.
Love how you said it’s about Subdivisions, immediately heard the ‘Rush’ song in my ear❤️ wonderful content as always, and very much something to work forward towards.
Love your approach. I can get my head around it.
Glad to hear that.
Great lesson for growing your channel.😅
Great stuff Dan 🔥🔥👌🏽🏴
Thank you for the lesson. Still ponder on signing up for a course.
Its really good, thanks 🙏🙏
Many thanks.
Wow very nice Dan
Great lesson Dan. The 16th swing reminds me of Fat Larry's Band. Love It!!!
Very true! Thanks.
Thanks for sharing Dan much appreciated 👍🎵🎸🎶
Cheers, Paul.
Fantastic practice material! I have really enjoyed learning these lines. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this lesson. I have really been enjoying your lessons. I’ve been playing mostly walking bass and have recently had to play with other subdivisions. 12/8 has been fairly easy for me because of the ride cymbal I think. But sixteenth note subdivision is more of a challenge. The sounds you make instead of counting 1 e & a, etc. helps get the feel internalized. Work in progress. Cheers.
Keep it up - well worth the practice to get those 1/16ths.
Like always awesome teaching lesson, and I have signed up for your complete guitar bass course: I truly enjoying and increasing my knowledge on bass!!
Thanks! Keep it up 👊
Fantastic lesson
Thanks Dan
🙏
🙏🙏🙏
You're such a great technician, smooth as soft serve ice cream 🍦
🙏🤣
How about something from Marus Miller.....
Definitely in the future…
Dan how do you download the backing track to the lesson?
Hi. Follow the link in the description to the blog post on my site and it’s there. Let me know if you have any issues.
Any body know what model Ibanez bass he's using? That thing is sweet.
I do! It’s a 1982 Ibanez Roadster with DiMarzio DP126 pickups
That's awesome. Got my answer from the man himself. Thanks Dan, your videos are great. I always come away having learned some new grooves.
@@johnh2143 thanks, John. If you have any questions I answer them directly. 👍🙏
Where are you based in the UK Dan?
Singapore! I was born in London and lived there more or less my whole life then my wife got a job here.
is e sharp a thing? i just need to know
It exists and it’s out there. It’s the enharmonic equivalent of F.
excellent teaching. the notations and tabs help because I dont read music, nor do i know much about theory; but the rhythms scales shapes chords and fret board i do know something about, and find your lessons and demonstrations helpful. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
