9 months ago was when I had my first Lucy Thomas experience. I had just finished watching Pentatonics and their wonderful version of Hallelujah. The dreaded CZcams algorithm suggested an alternative that was Lucy and her version, and just like you, I was blown away. I still rate the Pentatonics version as a top-tier version of Hallelujah, but it is not alone on that tier, Lucy is rightly there as well. Hallelujah
Sorry but the Pentatonics version grates on me too many vocal gymnastics, I still prefer the Jeff Buckley and Jonathan Antoine versions but Lucy's version is by far the best one.
Hi Can hardly hear you. But the video of Lucy is fine. This song has over 40 million views on CZcams and is still getting over 40k per day. Lucy not only has a beautiful voice but it is technically perfect Her breath control is amazing her vibrato is to die for and she is pitch perfect. One reactor said that Lucy has a voice you can only dream about. With every new song she releases she is better .Her new Album "Beyond" was released today WOW that´s all I can say about it. I am glad to see another British Reactor listening to Lucy they are few and far on the ground 90% are from the USA. Lucy did a Charity event at Knebworth last Tuesday and by all accounts was fabulous. Her first Public concert is in Manchester in March next year and the Musical "Rosie" where she is taking the leading role opens in London also next year. Very beautiful! She can absolutely sing beyond comparison. However, after hearing the recent live recording by Emma Kok, it is indeed a perfect fabricated studio production but nothing more. Emma Kok's voice is not as perfect in a live recording, but she really touches your heart with this song❤. Emma does not act, she lives the song. I do look forward to a live performance of Lucy thought!
