- Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. Opening statements will take place on November 27.

He doesn’t want to appear to humiliating the witness. A lot of times he changes the question because he used words he knows the witness has no idea of the meaning.
“He wanted you not to live a life of crime, isn’t that true?” “Yes” ….that hit hard, not guilty

This Judge Sustained just about 99% of the objections of the prosecutor.... if that is not biased I don't know what is.
That’s the same thing I said…. Prosecutor was asking the same question over and over and judge ruled in her favor everytime…. Now defense is asking questions and the state has allready went 3/3 on objections but defense is 1-35.. that’s crazy That there shows me and hopefully everyone else that judge rules for state but not defense… crazy

The judge is impartial and sustains valid objections. Some things you aren't allowed to do, if you're objected to and its valid, it's sustained. Both sides know this. If they step outside the rules and they're objected to, it's sustained. The defense lawyer is dancing on the line and he knows it, he's trying to get things in in an invalid way. It's not biased. That's why lawyers make so much because of the knowledge they have. The average person would be completely clueless.
@@SeanpfreeI would encourage you to go back to the beginning of this case.. The judge made it risky by basically telling the defense that he is going to allow on essentially every piece of evidence and then he will address the jury on what they should and should not consider. This is a hot debate, that is commonly known and recent appellant court decision agree that it is improper and often leads to bias.
Additionally, the judge knows that the defense is going to poke and prod at a lot of questionable things, that is why he has allowed Brian Steele to file appeals while the trial is just beginning, the Georgia appellant court agreed to listen to his appeal on this matter.
Additionally, this judge has made some very questionable sustains, law and crime has actively covered this where they bring in other attorneys who have also questioned a lot of things that is occurring, one even stating “I don’t see how this doesn’t end in a mistrial..”

A judge does this every day, for an experienced judge it doesn't take long to know what they mean once they state the basis

This is crazy!! They haven't had a full work day since I've been watching. I don't think we have seen 5 or 6 hours of evidence presented in any day. They have had more breaks and time off then actual evidence so far. This is really frustrating as a spectator watching from a distance. I would be LIVID if I was a participant.

It broke my heart too! But it was because he didn't want what his grandma cooked not because he couldn't afford food. Truth be told. As kids we've probably all been that hungry! Sometimes I'd rather starve than to eat what my mom cooked! The defense attorney is good!
You must have never seen a court trial? Your lawyer always tries to humanize you and show the jury what your past looks like to show why you are the way you are to try to evoke emotion from them to vote not guilty

The defendents got a raw deal with this judge/ prosecutor combo. Its like they are a tag team. But the state got wrecked for 3 days with this witness and they ahould be ashamed. They need to get on with it....this is being strung along at a snails pace and im sure she has lost at least some on the jury already.
