Falling from the rooftops of Paris into the heat of Gusteau's kitchen, you'll follow Rémy on a wild ride as he finds all the perfect ingredients to make you a meal to remember. Into the food locker, knocked out the way by Linguini's mop, blasted by an oven's heat, running along under the wheels of a serving trolley into the dining room and scurrying through the walls of the restaurant, you eventually find your way to the grand opening of Bistrot Chez Rémy and a happy ending to a crazy adventure.
Ratatouille: The Adventure (Ratatouille: L'Attraction) is a brand new, unique 3D dark ride utilising trackless "Ratmobile" vehicles and numerous special effects to bring a chase through the Pixar Animation Studios film Ratatouille to life. Created by Walt Disney Imagineering especially for Disneyland Paris, it officially opens to the public on 10th July 2014.

i must say the technical aspect of this ride is awesome: a railway free ride, cars inteligently programmed to navigate throught the ride with for the visitors unpredictable paths, some times goin left or right, the combination the typical but briliant set pieces and 3D animation is jsut phanomenal
Yes definitely - it's the combination of so many cutting edge "ingredients" which makes this ride a real delight - and a thousand times more so in person, than in this or any video!
There is a ride with the same mechanics (the no track programmed cars) in sea world orlando. And it works especially well in this ride because normally you can look down at the tracks and predict the next turn but with this you cant and that adds to the feel of ratatouille!

Just curious, is there an English version of the ride for those who have no idea how to speak French or is there English sayings here and there in the ride?
SilverScreen13 Usually attractions in DLP will run in French and in English over turn so when the French dialogue is complete they will start the English dialogue and so on :)

A great ride, but maybe I expected more scenarios and less screens. That would have enhanced the experience for me.
Even the ride onload is so elegant (which is probably why you gave it a bunch of screen time, super appreciate that)! The tech in this is pretty amazing.
I like how they combined physical objects with giant screens. I give this ride B+

This ride is literally a combo of the new trackless track Disney is working on with the technology and concept of the current Universal Studio rides like Transformers, Harry Potter rides, and Spiderman. Still good, just think it's funny for the first time Disney got its ideas from Universal when usually it's the other way around.

Best attraction in Disneyland Paris! Had a great time with the kids, and by using te "single-ride" entrance we could go 2 times in no time. Only 5 minutes waiting!
Ratatouille is my faaavorite Pixar film! this ride looks beautiful, and that restaurant!!! omg, it looks amazing!
I was at Disneyland the past week and I went on this three times. The queue was mad it was about 90 minutes and the fast tracks ran out quickly for the whole day so I went in single riders which was a 20 minute wait. Was such a clever ride and the animation and timing is well put together. I knew absolutely nothing of the ride before I went on so it was a surprise. Also the effects of the tiny water that's sprayed on you in the cork bottle bit and the hot air in the oven fire bit is brilliant!

Such a fantastic ride. My favorite from Disneyland Paris. I just went there in December and January and loved every minute. I rode this at least 10 times on the 2 days I went and actually since I was alone and pretty had no need of going on the stand by line I literally walked on while the normal wait time was 60 mins, I literally rode it 3 times in 30 mins.
Ça a l'air top, 5 ans que je ne suis pas allée à Disney ça me manque terriblement, hâte d'y retourner et de faire Ratatouille :)

One of the neatest parts is when you're under the cart which appears to be moving - everything under the edge is screen, but the physical wheels of the cart are actually spinning and turning as if you are under a giant moving platform.

I loved this ride. Great ride,great film ,strongly recommend.
My friend and I went on this first ride when we went to Disneyland Paris 3 weeks ago. Waited in line.. got on... then got told to get off straight away because the ride shut down. 1 hour later (we waited :( for it) it started up again. Great ride and interesting glimpse of behind the scenes when we saw a ratmobile being taken aside.

Perhaps, Pixar got fully involved in the creation of this ride? The animation is clearly new like it was to accommodate the presence of the rat (aka the rider).

I had the chance to be in Paris and go to DLPto ride this. Loved it. You get over the French English aspect. Plus you ARE in France so they don't necessarily have to speak English but they do for us in-bilingual Americans.

This ride is coming to Epcot for anyone wanting to know. Last year I was at Epcot one of the cast members told me it was to be built in the paris section plus I think Orlando Attractions Magazine have covered it

Just back from a trip to Disneyland Paris. Definitely up there with attractions such as Radiator Springs Racers and Pooh's Hunny Hunt. If you have the chance to go and ride it stop watching the POV, great video but doesn't do the ride justice.
