You’re the only one that poi tutorials I actually get. They are so well broken down. It’s impossible to get stuck!
Still looking for intelligent life.
Found this video that I saved 12 years ago at the bottom of a playlist and it’s still on point. Helped me get my buzzsaw down.
I’ve been spinning for 21 years now 🤪 👍🏼
This video helped me EMORMOUSLY! Thank you for teaching so well what you do so well.
Gunna make it my mission to learn these, I got told I should get the LED ball poi's but I struggled and sorta gave up. Last week I got some sock poi and find it a little easier, going to practice as much as I can.
You make it look so graceful and easy, Nik. Thank you for continuing with these videos. Feel the flow~
@ 5:15 when you go from static spin in split/same to extension, the poi fall into quarter time due to conservation of angular momentum. when you do the buzzsaw flower, you're fighting against conservation of angular momentum and you have to constantly velocity-blend; speeding up in the extensions, and slowing down in the inspin petals. knowing this, of course, doesn't help most people learn how to do it, which is why i have mad respect for you, nick, in your ability to break stuff down.
excellent...you break down things to make it 'look' so easy, makes the move easier to learn for sure...thank you
Great variation on the buzz saw... you explained it so well that I was able to get it right away :D
Thanks Nick, golden tutorial as always!
Thank you so much for your videos. You broke this down so well, excited to unlock it! Have to ask, where'd you get those poi?
oh! Now I understand how to do it. Thank you for your impressively clear instructions.
Kudos on the buzzsaw intro! That was pretty sick.
You are great and thank you for videos.
thanks, some tips wil help me withdiabolos s-fans.
every time i see nick...I think back to the time I 1st saw him..."wow he's short", lol. thanks for uploading new vid's nick. this helps all the new guy's so much :D
¡Chévere, es una buena manero de aprenderlo; me va a servir, gracias!
Hi Nick! I just looked up this video because I'm teaching buzz saws today for Stockholm Flow newbies :)
Miss your face!
Take care,
Dennis Dyallo
This is soooo inspired! :D thank yoouu
Boy you've trimmed down and toned up. Lookin very very good.
Nick I have to know... Where do you get those shirts? Particularly the one with the chakras. They are so awesome!
Nicks fire TY!
where do u get that kind of clothing? its beautiful
Ouch, that wind 😳
Nice t-shirt!
I've avoided buzzsaws, but they can actually look good when done properly...i may try them now.
cool. I will always be sad that i turned around instead of driving further towards Toronto-not knowing there were poi people and cool places like this. :/
Hey nick, I've been doing poi for about 2 months now and I've decided to buy some real ones soon. Would you recommend single or double looped handles?
Where can you buy poi? i'd like to start learning but i have no idea where to start looking
I get it fine for cloth poi but chain is a totally different story. For one rolling chain around your hand isn't comfortable and the grip tends to slip. Another problem I have is how to work a buzz into other patterns. How do you alternate between long and short grips smoothly?
what kinda of poi set is he using?
I can't find buzzsaw transition video anywhere :(
@Freakdeke88 I think its cone poi from home of poi
perfect sifu
cool
HAHAHAHA! I was like, "Oh, Brickworks! Cool! I researched a story on that for National Geographic a few years ago!" Then you said where you read it and I saw the video date...
Seems like a nice guy :)
You're from Toronto?!?
BOSS
Thank you ,your awesome and handsome.
so THIS is how I hurt my rotator cuff! wish I watched this year's ago... years of abuse has left my cuffs crying LOL now I know
This has been super helpful, I have a video that discusses some similar themes but with a bit of a different spin, check it out!
@Freakdeke88 looks like green sock poi to me..
You look like a Pokémon trainer in this video 😂
Hahaha if you click the closed captions option it think play poi says playboy
