Thank you!! This video is SO helpful on how to put all of the accessories together! I just purchased a Crosstour CT9700 and used it for the first time today to film some gardening videos. Couldn't figure out the chest mount portion until I saw that the adapter parts were connected together. Love Crosstour!
i bought one of these, probably about 6 months/year ago. and all these bits have pretty much sat in the box, with me not knowing what or how to use them. now i'm itching to go for a drive or a bike ride lol
yes!!!!! finally. now i understand what therye used for and how to use it. always wanted it for the dash cam and now i know how it works!

Good demonstration, that really helped a lot. Crosstour, you should make a picture manual for your accessory. Not all the parts I have was shown (about half), so I still need to figure out the rest. Also, not sure a video of installing the battery was needed. How many customers can't install a battery? 😂

Hi, my 4K wifi CT9000 came Christmas Day and I am really happy, I am just asking whether the wrist remote control for taking video and photo from your wrist is water proof? I am going to vlog my Center Parcs days and going down water slides will help if I can just take video from my wrist.

My CT9000 camera just won’t fit into the black ‘backpack’ holder no matter how hard I push it just pops out on one side. It’s almost as if I’ve received the wrong backpack for my camera.

Very helpful video. However, I am trying to figure out how to attach the cam on a kayaking trip.
You can either use the clip with tape to put it on the front and record that way or buy a yak attack camera mount, but you would need a rail system as well...works great though
When I push the power button on the waterproof case, it turns on and then it turns off immediately after. I thought it might have been the battery, but it works perfectly without it and it stays on. Is there a way to fix this?
Is the glue hard enough to hold the camera on my helmet? Up to how much km/h is it possible without cable ties? Because I want to use it during riding my motorcycle and there are no holes to fix it.
Burn it lil bit. It will stick very hard to your helmet

Hi I just bought the CT 8500 and I don't really know how to use the external microphone, it barely picks up my voice, but so far it's been a good camera , that is the only question I have

@@EazyDuz18 When the camera is in the waterproof case(when ANY camera is in a waterproof case) you will not pick up much sound. When this camera is out of the waterproof case, it sounds fine. Picks up sound as good as any camera does.
How do I put the tripod on with the waterproof case on ?
Dan Tomlinson there is a part that the camera comes with that you attach to the camera and underneath should have a hole that you can screw the tripod in. If thats not the case than get one of the parts that you screw on both sides

@@Crosstour I'm going to assume you mean to secure it in case it falls off, it won't hit the ground? Because your explanation still isn't clear and I'm not sure how to set up the wire rope, you never explain it or show it.
Relieved to have seen this video, just couldn't work out how to bike clamp it. Only thing I would say is I really wish they'd just come up with a flush bracket for the bike instead, rather than topping it up with all that apparatus/height - it can't be difficult surely?
so the camera is reversed when u put it on a helmet for example?
It doesn't have to be. You can put it in the screw holes either way. If you put it in upside down, you can flip the image in the menu.
Are there instructions on how to place this on a tripod please?
@@Crosstour Thank you - however this cannot adjust angle up and down. I am using the waterproof case for this but then no sound recording. Is there any case that allows both sound recording and up-and-down angle adjusting?
funnily enough the handlebar mount does not fit all handlebars. cannot get this aroud my road bike handlebars at all due to the screws being way too short. I also can't mount it anywhere else on the bike so getting the camera was pretty much useless
When I get it going properly I'll need more batteries they only last about 30 min

How do I charge the batteries?
How come the pkgs are not marked for what they are used for? Would be nice if the person doing the video could speak while doing the video. I have had this camera since before Christmas and cant use it because there are no instructions on what and how to configure for different uses. The warranty will be up before I can use it.

Lower the resolution, and have two batteries, or you'd better have a power bank. But it should be tiring to bring along these in marathon...

I haven't tried but in the user manual it says you should only use up to 32GB

I accidentally left my crosstour action camera in the rain, without the waterproof case, and some water got inside it, behind the lens, clouding the lens. Does anyone know how to fix that? I kept it near a heater, hoping that would evaporate it, but it didn't. I wonder if I should do that for a longer time. I also stuck it in a box with a little dehumidifying thing that people put in their closet to keep things dry, but that didn't work either. Ideas?

For the most part, these are well designed and well made, with one notable exception. There are way too many pieces being used for the bike mount. The camera is extremely shaky and even with image stabilization turned on, the video is unwatchable. It should be reduced to a single piece that attaches to the handle bars and camera. All the manufacturer would have to do is redesign the handlebar mount so that the tightening screw runs parallel with the bars, rather than perpendicular to them.
You can do it with less pieces on my crosstour, he chose not to.
You don't have to build the same skyscraper they did. The extra pieces are just options.

0:54 Just tried backpack. 1) the camera will be in portrait mode. Not good; 2) the clip not wide enough for secure attachment. Not good.
I have a problem with this camera. It doesnt turn on eventhough I fully charged the camera via a USB cabel and I fully charged the battery packs aswell and put them in. A memory card is in there aswell...would be glad if someone could help me :)

The faults about it:

The goods about it:
-Fisheye lens
-The camera size, portable and bulky-ish aswell
-The 'childproof' lid thing (this saved me from my brothers destroying my camera)
-The opening of the lid (satisfactory opening, I always thought it was cool from yesterday when I got it)
-The amount of mounts (pun intended), the mount amounts are huge, and not so huge. Good size, good deal. You get what you pay for.
-The lens quality and size
-The battery recommendation
What could be better?
