If you are going from Banff to Jasper and want to take a break and have a scenic easy hike this is the place to go. It's right in the center of HWY 93 Icefields Pkwy and it is a easy hike if you are moderately fit. Meaning you go on walks regularly. The elevation is not that bad and you can choose when to stop. Not far along you will start seeing amazing views so you can choose to stop or keep on going. It's one of the best hikes with extensive views of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in the Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park. You get a view of the Athabasca Glacier and all the mountains surrounding it. You basically feel like you are in the middle of the Rocky Mountains because you see a spectacle view everywhere you turn. I documented the hike along the way so you know what to expect when hiking the trail. I hope you go see it for yourself as it is not a hard hike and even if you have limited gear!

This place is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It is really hard to really capture it on camera. One thing I can say is the mountains and glaciers looks bigger in person.

It's a great place. The difficulty isn't too bad. Mother and Father in law did the hike themselves in their early 60s without issues.

There are many mountains and trees here and is better place to visit in summer.😊

Summer is the best time to visit this place. Winter is beautiful too if you are willing to take the cold, and it gets real cold.
