You guys asked for it, so here it is!
I absolutely like the way that you teach how to do it. Thanks a lot.
Should I wash my hair with shampoo everytime I put on hair products?

The legend has it, he is still applying "a little bit more" !
Lmfao 😂
😂😂😂
Thanks Robin, found the layering technique is very helpful with my hair!
Your shirt-jacket-whatever is amazing. Quiff too!
Thank you Robin for your dedication and for teaching us how to properly do it! ❤️
You are always very welcome.
Trying to consider new styles. Thank you for sharing.
The kind of in depth video men want but are scared to ask for. Thank you!
This helped me so much! You’re the best!
Man! Thank you so much I wanna try it so hard!
I, am definitely trying out that hairstyle, Robin. Thank you! I love it!
Give it a go!
@@ManForHimself I'll be using Sea Salt Spray, instead of Kevin Murphy's Anti-Gravity Spray. Other than that, it's gonna be the same. I'm sure it'll come out well!
Love the products you use for your hair.
I'll try to do a quiff today lol
Let me know how you get on!
Thank you for that tutorial. :) I need it.
I Just subbed, loved the video, i have fine hair and im currently growing my hair out a bit to try for a slick back or quiff look.
You just have the most awesome cut! Looking SO good! And BTW a very cool Shirt! 👌👌👍👍
Thanks Benn!
Thank you Robin. ❤️ You and Joe(Blumaan) have helped me in the last few weeks, as I am a late subscriber and late enthusiast of hair styling in general; to boost my self esteem. I feel much happier these days. Still working on training my hair but improving thanks to your videos and your wonderful fan base. ❤️

Hey Robin! This video helped me out so much. Thank you 😊
This is good, Tracey!
That's some fabulous hair 🤤 NEED to try. Looks so perfect 👌
Thanks!
I love it Robin!
Great look👍🏻
Thanks Erin.
Also I never thought to use tiny bits at a time and 'building' with a product I've always just used a lot at once but never had that great a hold. Thanks for the tip!
Has to be done! You are v. welcome.
Great video as always. Looks great with your longer sides.
Cheers Mark.
This is the best hair tutorial on CZcams I love this guy.y hair now looks soooooo much better with me using some sea salt spray a hair dryer and a decent hair product. I loooooove the Fudge sea salt spray and fudge Matt wax it’s wonderful. Thanks Robin!
Love this style on you soo sleek👌👌🙌
Thanks Parth.
awesome! looks great
Thanks Brandon.
Love this classy look
Cheers Matthew
Enjoyed this one. Thanks Robin!
Thanks Ujen.
This looks awesome Robin.
Cheers Brian. Good to see you again!
I've followed your lead & let my sides grow in. I like it. It does help me look a little more mature compared to when I would fade my sides. I'll try this out for a while longer.
Ooh, let me know how it goes!
Tysm, I’ve been feeling rlly insecure about my hair lately and this might work to make it look good. It’s kinda late so might update tmr morning
This is is dope 👌🔥🔥
Great job Robin! Your hair is amazing here man. The Voluminous texture looks beautiful on you
Thanks Anthony.
@@ManForHimself Are you thinking about reviewing more Homebrewer products anytime soon? Such as Lockharts or Shear Revival, or Flagship, Nostalgic, First-hand, or O'Douds?
Great video as always, Ive been watching some of ur older videos about hair mousse and the products you recommend. Unfortunately, the product is no longer available on Amazon. Is it possible you can recommend a hair mousse product for increased volume?
Loved the quiff
Thanks Jose.
You got really amazing hair! just thought u should know
Thanks!
This hairstyle really suits u robin 💯🤗
Thank you
Very nice!
Love that you changed the side of the side part it looks wayyyy better when it’s volumised and with a styling product that’s not pomade
Glad you liked it, Jose.
Great editing, and great video :)
Thanks Adrian.
Great looking hairstyle on you.
Great tutorial! 👍🏼
Thanks Shaun.
Love it
Thanks
Great video!
Thanks Benn.
Wow! Looking better than ever😍D.
Thanks David.
Cool quiff robin
Thanks!
Awesome!
Thanks Jacky.
@@ManForHimself hello Robin! That pre styler spray looks interesting. Have you try the other one? I think the beach resort one? If yes, what is the difference? I'm very interested in trying Kevin Murphy
You need to do a tutorial on that moustache bro ! Love this video though and you got my thumbs up with that fine hair video ! Kudos
I was also wondering how you did it. It turns out it’s pretty similar to what I do, minus the hairdryer. Great video!
Great minds!
Great tutorial brother your hairstyle always on point and you become more handsome day by day 🙌
Thanks Abhishek.
Hi Robin, I really like the new hairstyle. I know your growing it out and I wondered if you could do a video on your next barber visit? Enjoy your day!
Would love to do that, for sure.
It’s all about the layering!!
It certainly is!
Thank you sir
Man thanks for the vid
You're very welcome, Michael.
Great video! Subscribed too!
Thanks! Good to have you on board.
Good old times of tutorialss!!
I know, right!? Loved doing it.
Niceeee 👏🏻👍🏼
Thanks!
Robin James no problem!
Robin thank you for the videos :), i would like your help when I step out the shower my hair is really dry even though I use conditioner after I shampoo is there anyway to give it life without applying a lot of product into it
Have you tried oil treatments?
I miss your quiff 😍😍
I kinda don't... ha ha!
i am a big fan of your classic side part but this one looks even better in my opinion! The longer sides make the hair cut a perfect mix between a modern and young hair cut and a classic one! definitely not too young for you !
also: I am very curious about the kevin murphy pre styler, can you review it? I am looking to move away from sea salt spray as it makes my hair very dry (at least i feel like it does). Ive tried aveda thickening tonic, but i am not completely happy with it. Do you have any other suggestions?
Thank you. Will definitely look to show the product.
Need some help if possible. I do a quiff hairstyle and as a prestyler I use a sea salt spray, but was thinking about using a mousse since alot of robins quiff videos he uses them. I have fine, straight hair and I don't want shine but I want some volume. Any opinions on which is better to use?
Hey man, nice hair !
Where is the jacket you’re wearing in the photo from (0:16) ?
Robin! I've got my hair one side long and one side short where should i do the partning?.....
Not too young a style for you what so ever. You look damn good.
it suits you bro 👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you.
longer hair on sides suit you very well Robin. Happy to see more and more people giving up on that undercut trend
Thanks Estelle!
Hey Robin when I ask for a haircut what do I tell the barber so that my hair grows to something like yours?
You are a Hair saint robin !!!
Thanks Tharikh.
I have straight, thin dry hair ,dry scalp so I cannot use a blow drier (it has damaged my hair many times), so which type of product all alone would be good for this hairstyle
what is an alternative for the hair balm? I can't get it.
Can you do a review on the Osis+ Flexwax 4 please?
Could be one for future.
Awesome, really like this hairstyle. You are really liking Antigravity, are we expecting a product review here or maybe a Battle of the Anti gravity , Kevin Murphy vs Lockharts
I am loving it. I should take a look at a review, shouldn't I!
i like the sidepart better on you, Robin! a gentleman like you needs that sidepart! :) great to try something new once in a while. you look way younger with this hairstyle!
Totally agree! I had to give the people what they wanted!
If I’m having trouble with my hair staying up am I not using enough product or too much at first?
Another one......Another one 😂😂
Nice Video ☺
Ha ha!
great video man! tip for people out there, i wouldn’t do the layering bit with an oil based clay or something cause that’ll be literally impossible to get off your hands and hair
I'd still layer it, for sure! But you wouldn't use that for this hairstyle. Keep it light!
Good job
Cheers Tan.
Cheers
That’s mustache is what gets me up in the morning
Just started subbing after this. A great video and such an awesome voice/accent.
I’d like to style my hair like this but the price for the product is ridiculous! Is there a suitable alternative? Would Fatboy be best?
I have Layrite clay and I’m finding my hair flops by midday like in the brand battle video you did.... thanks :)
Thanks Simon. And yes, love Fatboy. I think it's a solid investment.
You look so goood!
Thanks Anthony.
Robin i use wella silvakrin hairspray the same as you but it gives my hair a very greasy finish any fixes?
Oh, that's no good. I've never had that. I'd change the product then. Used anything else?
more vids like this please
On the list!
Hi Robin, great video as always! Was waiting for a hair tutorial for quite some time now!
Just one question - do you think MM TSB is the best post styler for thin/fine hair? Or is there a better product with matte finish and high hold?
Hey Pablo! Not at all. Really depends what you want to do. I love clays!
Robin James all right thanks, guess I have to experiment as expected!
Question Robin:
How long did it take you to grow your sides to what you have right now?
Great video! Would mousse work as well? I feel like it would give you more volume, which is what you're going for but is there a specific reason you don't prefer it?
Hey, it would make the hair more rigid. It builds stronger structure.
@@ManForHimself thanks for the reply. I'm still a rookie at hairstyling and I find mousse to be an easy way of getting volume without too much technique. I want to try out different pre stylers in the future, and I love how there's many options on your channel I can learn from. Extremely helpful since I have fine hair similar to yours, you are my go to for hair videos and I'm super grateful. Keep it up!
yo mr james will u ever do a tutorial on how to cut n style your magnificent handlebars stache, I'm growing my mustache out to do your style it looks so cool
Hey! I did one a while back but can do another if you like?
yes please id like that, n yes ive seen your older one, tnx man, my handlebars are coming
that is a crazy amount of product 😂 awesome video though!!!
It certainly is!
This video has saved my life. Well, my wallet as I was going to get another haircut as my quiff likes to fall back down. Subscribed.
This is good! Thanks for subscribing.
I just remember your first video of Quiff How To and I suprised how fast is the time :(
I feel nostalgic :'(
Me too! So fast.
Hey Robin! just a random request can u make a video about ur morning routine?
Hey! I've done one but can revisit it.
Old school robin is back
Upgraded. ;-)
I have been consistently early these days
You have. And I've been consistently impressed.
Morris Motley is no longer on Amazon. Can you suggest another one?
1 hour later and half a jar later you have an amazing hairstyle.
Heart robin
Heart!
Hello ! I'd like to ask about the undercut. I'm currently trying it out and I feel that the hair on side of the top of my head is potentially short as it's a bit stubborn and sticks out (it's worse on the one side). Will that improve when the hair gets longer ? Also can you add a heat protectant spray with a sea salt spray together ? Finally could you maybe make a video on hair dryer recommendations (mainly budget ones please). Thank you !
Hey! Yes, it should get easier as the hair gets longer and heavier. You can use a heat protectant with sea salt spray... but I'd check to see if the spray has a protectant in it already.
@@ManForHimself At the moment I have black label craft clay and black label black mist pre styling spray (I think it's a sea salt spray). They seem pretty good and they're the first kind of premium products I've bought. Btw I have long thick hair so I think the clay is good for me but if you have any other recommendations for my hair type with a low shine and good hold (I really can't decide between pastes, puttys I really don't know the differences) that would be appreciated
You should review Lockhart's Enigma. I think it will suit your hair style wonderfully
Will take a look, for sure.
What is the length robin
great video! Ever thought of doing a full day of eating?
Hey! Not really. I'm not sure how exciting it would be. Ha ha.
Felt like I was watching a geico commercial w “more” applications lol 7 rounds of MM-wow! Nice work thou
Ah, I don't know what that is...
Starting to look like Jimmy Neutron in the video lmao
Ha ha... I started 5 years ago.
CAN use mouse as well?
