Sitting waiting to go to my third meeting in three days. Thanks Billy I was withering with the meeting due to the fear of real connections. When you say you feel alienated I totally relate I feel like an alien. You put me on this path and it’s time to push forward. When you are talking about letters etc I have spent the day beating myself up about not being able to open all my mail. I am going to try and share for my first time today. Will let you know mate ❤ 🏴
Just remember Billy, you've paid you're dues, and now you're putting back in what you took out, and you're honesty is admirable, I've said it before you wear your heart on ya sleeve, so you can read every emotion you going through, so be proud Billy, you for one, deffo deserve it mate, all the best to ya bro,💙👌💯.
Billy u have bet the devils dust ..and u are doing great and its is also great seeing u giving back to your community and u are..keep going Billy your smashing it💯 chopper read Ears
Really good episode this one Bill, really got down to the grass roots with a lot of topics around the community, stuff I particularly liked, and the sense of pride in your city, and birthplace. I point stuff out on walks out but most people just don’t enjoy the little nature spots around them, too many grey faces just going through the motions and just existing. Yeh I can relate to so much of this one Billy, appreciate you mate, the world is a better place with you in it. 💯🙏☮️🙏
I detoxed off benzos in prison was 6-7 months of absolute torture but best thing av every done that shite is evil !! Was well worth it in the end to be clean and free of addiction feels like the weight of world has been lifted
Unreal a big benzo cold turkey 🦃 isn’t it mate ? I spent 3 and half months feeling like an alien 👽 coming off benzodiazepines myself, and cat napping 10 mins here and there and having the absolute worst nightmares ever, and were some of the most real feelings of terror and I was snapping awake soaked in sweat 😓 and jumping round the bed in total fear , that particular cold turkey still is the worst one I’ve ever been through, it literally burnt my soul.
Know the feeling mate did the same thing in 2014 when i got in to a spot of bother and ended up in hmp aultcourse, felt like the feeling of coming of the benzos went on and on and on they was street benzos and im sure that they are stronger man!.. ✨👑✨👌👍👍👍
I’ve just posted a long post about getting clean and the only thing I’m on now is 10mg of diazepam a day from my GP and they’re leaving me on those with no reductions as done a 10 day detox off methadone in Chapman Barker Unit near Manchester after 28 years on the shite. Gave up the brown gear and white years back and zomorph 30mg capsules a year just over along with zopiclone, weed, pregabs etc. Thing that scares me the most is a benzo detox hence why they left me on them as a step too far. Awaiting a double lung transplant after catching pneumonia and sepsis in March 2018 and spending a month just over in ITU. Had to get totally clean to get on transplant list but they’re fine about the diazepam as an actual script rather than buying on street. Read it can literally take years to get off them and a detox terrifies me as been a huge fan of benzos for 30 years almost. The temazepam jellies back in the day , Mogadon ( Nitrazepam), Librium , lorazepam, online Xanax which were absolute quality and so on. You’ve done amazing pal to do it in 6/7 months. Keep up the great work and all the best. 👍🏼🙏
Respect. You're one of the only people covering life around Merseyside and your videos are always hard hitting with solid facts. Appreciated brother, keep up the good work.
Hi Billy, Thanks for your vid. Powerful stuff mate!. You said how it once was, how it now is and most importantly how you got there!. Thanks again Billy. 💯🤔👍 John.
I look forward to watching this mate, you certainly know how to get the message across, speaking from the heart and speaking from experience, will certainly help someone. 👍🏻
Billy. You come good lad something to be proud of you done good kid ❤ If you can just click something in someone to make change like you did you on a winner ❤
I have so much respect for you after watching this. Such pure truths. The city may nof be massive , but the people who have lived and grown up there for decades and generations have a massive heart. Sadly the psychopaths who control overnmental decisions , immigration want the cities with community spirit destroyed. Divide and control , its part of the agena. I am not from Liverpool but over ghe water. I llived in Princess Rd , Kensington , Streets off London Rd now demolished , Around Lark Lane for12 years , in the late 90s could take no more of paranoid users , violence , ttheft , the police intimidation , I met a Javanese girl who was at John Moores , after a visit to Indonesia , deciddd to start a new life far from all the ugliness of a once beautiful thriving city in Java. My addictions were gone at once. Again much respect to you for turning the table becoming the master of what was mastering you. I came back for 2 visits tto Liverpool since 1999, and felt alienated. People were doing the same as they were when I left , only worse. Only more paranoid and violent , suspicious. I felt I was clearly not welcome anymore. Nobody took the time to talk and hear about what I had been doing and what I had been upto , how I changed my life around. More ready to pull a knife to my throat or without warning elbow me in the bridge of the nose for no reason other than paranoa. So sad to see. I used to love chilling in the pubs with the African folks in L1 , L8 , The Ebo , Yoruba , Casablanca , Kavanaghs. Happy times. Was a cool place to be in the 80s and 90s. I doubt they are so ccool now , if they still exist.
its really been interesting, watching your journey, its a shame you dont get to actually see or watch how many addicts get clean. because your sharing has so much honesty, top advice, and yeah we all know its down to the individual wanting to change, a share to someone, could be the beginning of someone, finally making big changes. so just letting you know these are working billy, making me think little more clearer
A very reflective video recalling your own recovery and making changes. The people that you have being speaking to are unable to commit to their own recovery . The sadness and loss of potential is very heavy to witness and share emotionally. The same with the areas you have mentioned they are stuck. You have moved on and now in a different mindset so things will seem strange but in a good way. Change brings opportunity but also its necessary to go through a grieving process. The City and yourself have got alot of potential.
Great stuff bill nice to hear these stories and witnesses you going through your recovery mate i find it interesting mate as i am also, i fel of the wagon a number of times billy. You know what bill there aint a massive number of people out there that has managed to fall free of the gear a lot of my friends are still stuck in addition to the boby and its only a small number of people that i can think thats managed mate blody awful stuff bro!.. ✨✨👑✨✨👌👌👍👍👍
Romans 12:2 Do not conform yourself to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of GOD, what is good and pleasing and perfect.
I’ve just been homeless in leeds for the last 3 months just got a shared house today and 99/ of the people begging are in hostels with 3 square meals they just want money for gear it’s crazy
