Thanx a Lot to MMFA's Torch bearer Sri Vijayakrishnan Sir for bringing out this fitting Tribute to Creative Genius Mellisai Mannar MS Viswanathan commemorating the 8th Anniversary of his demise. His famous Quote "Mortal Men, immortal Melodies" only comes to our mind whenever we listen to his classic Melodies. I am Glad in rewinding some of his Sublime Melodies of Supreme Sweetness and bringing out this beautiful compilation which will stay in our fond memories for ever. The List of Songs chosen here are:

எந்த வித இசை பின்னணி இல்லாமல் சிறு வயதில் அந்த கால இசை அமைப்பாளர்கள் அவர்களிடம் இசையை கற்று கொண்டு தன் சொந்த முயற்சியில் காலத்திற்கு ஏற்வாறு இசையை மாற்றி அமைத்து ரசிகர் மனதில் இடம் பிடித்தவர் அவர் விருதுக்கு அப்பார் பட்டவர்
இவருக்கு விருது கிடைக்காததால் அந்த விருதுக்கு தான் நஷ்டம்

அண்ணா இல்லையே என்கிற ஏக்கமும், துயரமும் இந்த பாடல்களை கேட்கும் பொழுது இன்னும் அதிகமாகி மனம் விம்முகிறது. 60 ஆண்டுகளாக அவரது படைப்புகளில் தோய்ந்து ஊறிய என் மனம், ஆறுதல் இன்றி தவிக்கிறது. காலமே! காலமே! இதைப்போல இன்னும் ஒரு நெடிய பந்தம் இன்னும் ஒரே ஒரு முறை அவரோடு அமைத்துகொடுப்பாயா? உன்னை இறைஞ்சுகிறேன். 🙏
இந்த தொகுப்பில் வந்த முதல் பாடலில் இரண்டு வகை இருக்கும்

Sir, Most of these sings are Light Melodies. Vizhiye kadhai Yezhudhu is based on Raagam Pagaadi. Pon yenna Poovenna Kanne seems to be a Derivative from Dharbaari Kaanada, though it's basically a light melody only. Tks for listening.

There is a proverb in tamil "Podhum Endra Maname Pon Seiyum Marunthu". But as far as his creations are concerned these songs are only a teaser which create more appetite to listen to his songs more. Thanks to Cvv Sir and Vijayakrishnan Sir. Of course Salute to the Legend.

@@venkris5393 S Sir. Your observation is absolutely right. I have also observed the Theme Music in films like Gnaana OLi, Gowravam, Thanga padhakkam and Theerpu. Excellent BGM Scores. In Keezh Vanam Sivakkum too his BGM Scores were very much noteworthy, especially in the penultimate scene to Climax where Sivaji is staggering, running here & there in search of Sarita and the Climax Scenes - from the moment Jaishankar's Eye bandages are removed till the Very End. When Sarita & Sivaji meet each other with their eyes and weeps in the terrace (before Sarita dies), Kann Kanda Deivame song would be played in Shehnai (without any rhythm) - what an amazing effect to that scene. Pls revisit Maro Charithra Climax, observe the astounding BGM Score. Too Brilliant.
