Instead he portrayed a very nuanced character sometimes Dark and Dangerous in between the comedy.

Colin Baker did his in audio form, deciding that he'd never be able to film it in his current state. I'd recommend it, but it's incredibly expensive. But it's the best regeneration story ever written.
