He was shocked because Amber said none of the money donated in her name counts towards her 7 million pledge. Which means Amber says she'll pay it all disregarding the 500,000 donations towards her pledge. She flat out lied in an interview saying it was already donated, before this trial. Conniving and deceptive viel female. 🤮 I refuse to label her as a woman because women are mature enough to accept responsibility and correction. Amber, however, is perfect since her reality is the truth in every one of her experiences. She's insufferable. Her smug attitude towards and lack of evidence, family and friends support, is telling. She's the type to bully everyone around her and no one calls her out because she will have a tantrum. #TOTAL NIGHTMARE.
In fairness to her, she did make the promise to donate the money in the time period between when the divorce settlement was agreed, and when Johnny paid her. He paid in several installments.
However she doesnt deserve much credit for this because there was a one year gap between the final payment in full, and when she was sued, andthe lawsuit was her excuse for not paying.

Her ability to deflect or straight up lie had the opposite effect of what she hope for and what worked for in the UK. It made her look like a liar and that her team was trying to support a liar. Even if you’re defending a murderer, you have to know what to lie / hide / deflect and when to tell the truth. If all what you do it deflect and take no accountability, no one will believe you.
Ben is shocked because in this video she clearly understands the difference between donations and pledging while just previously she said she used those two words synonymously about why she hadn’t made her donation that she boasted about to seem like a saint while in the tabloids in the height her abusing Depp. She claimed she “pledged”, not donate, that those words were the same when caught in the lie, and then she just admitted on record she knew they words are different with different outcomes.

Seriously, Ben Chew’s reactions were EVERYTHING! He is literally all of us. His facial expressions through the entire trial covered exactly how I was feeling at the exact moments he made them. What an amazing legal team. It makes a HUGE difference when you believe your client, and you know you’re on the right side. I looked up Elaine, and she actually has a great lawyer score and a winning record to back it. However, she preformed so bad in defending Ms. Heard, you would have thought that Amber got the only lawyer she could afford that would try to defend her. I don’t know why Elaine did those train wreck interviews right after the verdict. She has to know Amber is full of shit. Also, all those Objections, Hearsay, Lack of Foundation, etc were just to buy Amber time to answer. Sometimes she just blurted out what she wanted Amber to say in one of the MANY times she argued with the Judge. I thought the way she argued with the Judge, sometimes telling Judge Penney that her decision was wrong, and “she can answer that Your Honor,” was so unprofessional. Amber wasn’t the only person who lost their career during the course of this trial. I can’t imagine that clients are banging on Elaine’s door. She made a fool out of herself in so many ways.
