“It’s difficult to leave a sport you like so much.” Chocolatito has unfinished business in boxing

- On March 5 in San Diego, Nicaraguan pound-for-pound legend and former four-division king Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez clashes with Julio Cesar Martinez, a late replacement for what was set to be a trilogy fight with Super-Flyweight rival Juan Francisco Estrada.
Martinez - WBC World Champion at Flyweight - came in after Estrada tested positive for COVID-19, stepping up a weight class to take on one of the Mexican's idols in the sport.
Despite the threat, Chocolatito says that the decision to take on such a dangerous opponent was 'no problem' as he looks to line up the final few fights of his career, cementing a legacy in the final few fights he wants to clear 'for family and country.'

i watched a lot of boxing and Choco is one of the, if not the smoothest aggressive boxer/punchers I’ve literally ever seen.
His aggressive, come forward while defensively responsible talent is akin to Errol Spence. But errol isn’t nearly complete a fighter as Roman.
Romans inside game is nasty as fk, slip, step back inch away from a punch, come back with hooks to the body and all that jazz is beautiful, he’s doing so much shit on the inside that most aren’t even conscious of. Anyways Im rambling but Roman Gonzalez is “special”, this word is thrown to quickly but he actually is special.
Anyways this fight with Martinez, I’ll admit I haven’t watch enough of Martinez, I will but from what I’ve seen so far, dude has a heart of a lion and can punch like a mule. A little worried, yes. And that’s how it should be, “the big drama show”

The best thing was everybody was a little scared at flyweight but martinez balls and go with the legend and get broken.. now martinez is not that feared anymore and chocolatito paced himself to not kill em 💯
