Furutech FI-50 NCF $380 AC plug - TRUTH

- I seek the truth on the FI-50 NCF plug because its so dang expensive, and some of my clients are adamant that they be used even though it adds $800 to the cost of the cable. If I can save them $800 on plugs they can buy another cable instead.
Sensible people DON''T think that the connectors make a powercord.
Connected with high quality cable, like Furutech FP So 32N, these plugs make a hell of a cord though.
And I know, cause I spend two weeks comparing different Furutech cables and plugs.
The FI-50 really does make a difference. However, if it's worth the price, everybode has to dicide for themself.
NCF = Nano Crystal Formula
I use Furutech FI-28M R Male AC / Furutech FI-28 R IEC connectors and Furutech FI-28M G Male AC / Furutech FI-28 G IEC connectors... Both are great sounding connectors. :)

stealth cable guy who is friends with the Stealth audio owner told me never polish the plug ends- oxidation is not good but you do not want shinny ends either

I really dig your vibe. OCD for sure but backed up with logical science and reasoning. Everything you do you explain it and then back it up with a demo to prove it. I know empirically it’s hard to show with numbers and measurements but it still makes sense to me.

Man what you’re referring to as a “Versace” Furutech looks awfully like a very real looking but harsh and forward sounding cheap Chinese knockoff to me.. so dude, how sure are you that what you got in your hands is the real deal? First better start off with that, otherwise this whole exercise is pointless.

Driving a Porsche Clad in Versace and no money in savings or investment. Broke ass bitch , correction, Broke Ass Bitch Poseur, ai yai yai.. well I drove up to a bar and was gettign ready in my head for my "Grande Entrance" since I was so pimped out. I even bought a wallet chain that I just clipped on to the belt loops or something, I didnt use it , but it had the big ass medusa head blinging. The jacket had flames inside, I thought it was because I was devilsihly cool. Looking back I was just a flamer. So I open the door and walk in and people look when I popped the door, then they all just looked down like I am a complete tool, and they were embarrassed for me. If logic was applied and assuming a "better" cord did anything it would pass the "noise" more effectively. It gets whats at the wall to the equip. power supply, THAT'S IT. After the power supply the voltage is totally changed AND filtered. This is psychoacoustics soaked in snake oil.

Oh you have just not heard a good cable yet. Its so clear its night and day difference. Ill bet you could even tell if you were outside the room with the door cracked. There are a few vids in my library that show the clear difference. In fact im about to post a FUSE comparison ! Lol. That seems so ridiculous but just listen to the vid. There are 3 fuses with 3 different sonic signatures. 1 regular fuse and 2 audio fuses

I think it would be a great serial to acompany your channel. You could do with many plugs cheaply, good copies of oyaide from aliexpress, viborgs etc. See how those perform with your crystal mix.

The Furutech products are simply rediculous.
I'm a retired union electrician, this whole power cord crap is just stupid! The power available to the equipment power supply is the SAME with a fancy cord as a factory molded cord. And after the power supply the power the innerds of the gear sees IS THE SAME. No way on the face of this earth a power cord can affect sound, IT's PLACEBO!!! very real sounding to the believer but not really real.
What is real then Brad ? Real is a subjective experience. You're only about the ten thousandth person since Ive been making cables that says that what my customers hear is impossible. So just because you dont understand this does not mean its not happening. Youre in the wrong place to get any traction with your story.

I know so much about electrical distribution that I know it is not possible for a 6 foot power cord to make a difference. A PERFECT cord can only give you exactly what is available at the wall outlet. Either the cord gets it there or it doesn't, and after the power supply it's all the same power available to the amp, that's just how it works. Check out Audioholics video on power cables. Also our brain is capable of making us think we hear a real difference when not there, reality is not "subjective" Hell I just saw 380 dollar cord caps!!!! LMAO big time, it's a polished up fancy looking 4 dollar Hubbell cap, if you think that can effect what passes from the input jack to the output jack, it leaves me speechless. How gullible people with no knowledge of how electricity works are.

Thats right. They work. Ive got a mix of my own.. sometime just set a big chunk of amy crystal, mineral, rock on top of a transformer and listen. Quartz is a good one
