He writes, produces, raps and sings. Very underrated artist
Don't call him underrated he doesn't wanna be famous😂
he never wanted to be famous stop calling him underrated
Hiiragi he a mumble rapper and way overrated
Hiiragi I mean underrated as his craft being appreciated
Paragon Nova nice bait
Just so you know, Jon Bellion was the only one dropping bars on this track. Tuamie helped produced the beat for this I think, I'm pretty sure he did the drums. Jon Bellion definitely deserves a reaction train, and I suggest picking a few songs from all of his projects as the way he makes his music is pretty different when going from album to album.
Dojoguy365 - Trevor This album is amazing, honestly this whole album needs a reaction. Like After Hours
A really good place to start is at the beginning of his paid albums "The Human Condition" because yes before that he had released albums, but his first album of 4 free releases was on Facebook. in my opinion "Morning America" although not bar heavy and more showing off his singing capability is very centered around his life and tells you a lot about how he grew up. "New York Soul, pt. ii" has a rap feature and also very good production. "The good in me" Crazy singing. Honestly don't think you can pick a song i don't like of his but those are a great foundation for a Jon Bellion train. Would totally be down to make a list in discord for this but i need to have a limit or ill just end up copy pasting his whole synopsis.
@Dojoguy365 Don't disrespect Tuamie.
Tuamie is a producer and he produced all the beats or as John likes to call them "Dilla Joints ".
The only thing John did in the production aspect was the adding the strings in the last beat.
@@shakedmashilker8257 I wasn't disrespecting anyone. I knew Tuamie played a big part in this song, I just didn't know how big of a part he played. Thanks for the info, I hope you have a good day
I mean, Tuamie supplies the face lift
If you think this song was a masterpiece wait till you hear The Human condition especially the last song BUT DO NOT LISTEN TO THE LAST SONG AT ALL COSTS UNTIL U HEARD THE REST OF THE SONGS
i mean glory sound prep is definitely a lot better than thc lol
i mean that definitely is just your opinion tho lol
Exactly, Hans Of God is so much more complex than just one song, you have to listen to the entire album start to finish and you will get massive goosebumps on the last song
Gaarvy oh i 100% agree, that is the better closer than mahs joint, but as a whole album experience, gsp has better production and less cheesy writing
hand ef gerd
Fun fact, Jon Bellion wrote the hook for Eminem's Monster ft. Riri
Huh I couldn't believe that so I looked it up and he your right. Idk if he wrote the hook specifically but he was one of the writers👌
Bebe rexha wrote the hook
@@Shiro-kc7vd idk but ok
@@Shiro-kc7vd No she didn't. It was Jon.. look it up.
In an interview with Jon Bellion years ago, he talks about sending the hook to Eminem's team and stuff so yea.
I am once again amazed at just the sheer knowledge that this man has. How does someone know all of this 😂
Been thinking about it. The level of knowledge with understanding is crazy. I love his breakdown though(the best I've ever listened to).
Not sure if anyone has made the comment but the narrator in this song plays a couple characters in Dragonball Z
I KNEW I RECOGNIZED IT thank you sir I deadass thought it was clips from either dragonball or whatever the fuck that adult swim show is with the scientists and the assassins
Haha yea I know for sure he plays piccolo
@@MitchTX Yep, Christopher Sabat. He played Piccolo, Yamcha, Vegeta, and Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho
I thought so! I've listened to this a couple of times now trying to figure out if it was the real voice actor or if it was just a really good voice actor that can mimic the voice.
Jon had Chris Sabat come into the studio to record those lines 😁
Pangea is a live Jazz album by Miles Davis who played, composed and also was the bandleader. Prolly referencing how he does everything in his music
kojin tashiro 🔥
BRO. THANK YOU. lmao I was so stuck on Pangea as in all the continents in one lol I was like WTF DOES THAT HAVW TO DO WITH ANYTHING 😂😂😂
@@TheThirdErnest Honestly it took me a minute too staring at the lyrics 😂
@@TheThirdErnest LIRR is the Long Island Railroad, it services the whole Long Island to NYC, LI is the place where Jon grew up, my dad actually works for the LIRR.
Pangea was also the landmasses of the world before all the continents broke off so also means he is all the parts of the band combined to one
At 20:19 he says "Im still pushing the same whip I was driving to Sachem" - that's the name of my high school. I just googled Jon Bellion and I grew up in the same town and went to the same school at the same time. 🤯 Just made this track even more 🔥🔥🔥
🥶🥶
Get out your yearbook my guy
Yo I served this man pizza at little Vinnies small world bro!
@@lukeromanoff4371 I wish I could find it, I looked
FINALLY!! Check out New York Soul Part II, or just listen to the whole Human Condition album
YES YES YES
Amma start a daily series in the comments asking him to react to it lmao
yesssss
yeah.. new york soul part ii has a mad beat and tons of bars
That's right you been listening since before Timeless that's what's up
Bro.. you be putting all these reaction channels who be saying they break down bars to shame. You really break it them down. Gooood shit haha. I love Jon bellion and it’s cool the attention to detail you give.
Knox hill is quite good too
BROOOOOO, i CANNOT TELL YOU, how STOKED i am to see Jon Bellion
LiiamFPS same bro, it made my day to see the title of this video and see Jon Bellion
My dude! Jon Bellion deserves a reaction train. Love the reaction!
Yessss, I would love to hear more Jon Bellion on this channel
I wouldn't mind if he done all his albums in a video each.
I missed out man. Jon and twenty one pilots went on tour together and they performed so good together.
They did. I saw them. Twice that tour. Greatest money ever spent.
thomas belajonas same
I went to that tour, as my first twenty one pilots concert. I i was so excited bc Jon was opening and I was just become a a fan of him. I was so excited for my first concert ever, to be able to see both of them together....I was so EXCITED THAT I FORGOT TO BRING MY TICKETS AND I MISSED JON OPENING :'(
Anabell M damn that sucks
@@jaydw2583 just glad I got to see Tyler and Josh. Now I hope to one day see Jon
"Me LION down is NALA option at all" another Lion King reference!
Never noticed this 👀 jon really is a lyrical genius
it even goes further, beyonce played Nala in the new adaptation of the lion king, this whole reference is there because he missed that opportunity with beyonce he talked about before
@@Alex-td8lb either her being on the movie was known back then or he was seeing the future
he has a big love for pixar films
Jon is amazing. Not only should you react to more of his records, but if you’re a fan of the process, you should 100% react to his videos where he records putting a record together. Dude does it for the love of music, and it shows.
But this reaction was tight. Like the fact that you even did this is pure talent. you're the best out here keep it up
pure...talent....?
@@drewdonaldson6660 that's what I call it what would you call it?
100%. this is spot on
Jon is a great singer and composer too. Opened for TØP for a leg of their 2017 tour. Jon had a song on the charts, (All Time Low) around that time. He won a Grammy for writing the chorus part of Monster (Em and Rihanna). Dude’s very versatile. You would probably vibe with all of his work, but be sure to check out the vids for Guillotine and Luxury. 😊
It's really hard to pin down a genre that he's in. He kind of created his own genre. He's definitely worth doing a train on his music. If not, try giving a listen to New York Soul pt. II
Edit: Also he makes his own beats and he incorporates a lot of mouth and throat noises into his beats. He's really good at making his body into an instrument
Bruh we been telling you if you like 21 Pilots you're kinda in the circle of Jon Bellion, Imagine Dragons...to some extent NF😂 bruh
It is a great circle to be in!!!
ew no
Yessss
Jon Bellion is EASILY one of the greatest artists alive today. The talent he possesses is crazy. He produces his own shit. He writes for himself and for other artists. Look up Human, the acoustic version.
the acoustic version?? ew nah original is better
Jay P I remember Tyler Joseph posted a link to Human acoustic a few years back. That was my intro to Jon🙏🏼.
@@DJDipstick LOL i mean I disagree but to each his own. They're both damn good though
@@yogafrog2052 he's like a drug man and you started with some SERIOUS FEELS
Please react to more of Jon bellion. He’s one of the greatest artist of this decade. He’s also won Grammys
"my stance here as a bandleader is Pangea"- basically insinuating that he is a one man band. Most of his songs (specifically his first three albums) were all written and produced just by him, and a lot of the beats he uses is all made from his own voice so he's saying he doesn't really need a band or anything to make his music
YOOO listen to The Human Condition by Jon Bellion listen to every song in any order but Keep the last song for last trust it will ne worth it
UNDERRATED ALBUM!!!!!
THIS IS SOOOOOO IMPORTANT!!!!!!
Yes, that was my favourite album the year it came out
That final track is a fucking masterpiece!
That album is a must-listen in order. No other way to experience it.
Dude, ur insane for deciphering this so fucking well
This is my first CZcams comment I’ve ever posted - this was worth watching for 25 minutes because Jon Bellion is one of, if not THE best artists of our time. People have already mentioned it but since is the first time I’m watching your show I really think you should check out Jon’s “making of” his songs videos - I’d start with Luxury and Simple & Sweet. I’ve always wanted to hear someone appreciate his music the way I do and I honestly can’t believe I’m posting a comment to CZcams but I’m really glad you’re getting his music even more out there. As you said, he doesn’t care about being famous and doesn’t need to be called underrated because he’s great where he’s at, and that’s what makes him the best. You’ll see in his other videos that he also dives deep into mental health and what he’s gone through and he like Logic in the way that everyone can relate to every bar. Just overall an incredible musician and artist because he does. it. all. (You’ll see more in the making of videos). Last thing I’m going to say about him and this probably isn’t even the right platform for it - but he does everything he can to launch OTHER artists while he grinds. He brings in different people with expertise in their instrument or the way they can carry a beat. I am glad he is getting recognized, that is all. Jon is the best.
Yes please to more Jon Bellion. He is 🔥 Dude knows how to write a song.
You should react to Jon Bellion's track 'Blu!" It's off the same album.
Definitely my favourite from the album. But dude all the tracks on this album are close seconds.
Yes! So glad you’ve heard Jon, he’s toured with twenty one pilots and you’ve probably heard of stuff he’s worked on. He wrote the hook of the monster by Eminem an Rihanna and he’s a sick producer as well as an artist
that video has like a billion views on youtube its crazy he wrote that hook!!
Dakota fanning yourself is basically what happened to her in hollywood, she disappeared. She did some work notable work as a child actor then went off the map for a long time. She was also in the Man Of Fire movie with Denzel Washington lol
Ernest said “my brain can’t keep up” as Jon was saying “you can’t handle it”. Perfect!
22:26 “For the rest of my life, you'll see me on the L-I-double R”
LIRR is the Long Island Rail Road system. he was born there.
LIRR is the Long Island Rail Road. It’s his main source of travel at home
The bar about dimentia hits harder when you Know the last song on that album. He talks about his grandma getting dimentia and his mom taking care of her. Man's a freaking legend
I just realized he's the same artist who sang "all-time low" which was mainstream back in 2016...
WEIRD STORY TIME . I served Jon pizza at little vinnies about seven years ago shortly after I saw him at a logic concert I wrote Vs up visionary on his take out order and he posted it on his insta. Grew up 10 min away from me in longisland ny and had piano lessons with my best friends older brother. doeant make me special but it's crazy when someone of this caliber is so close to your life. WE HAVE THE SAME PASTOR TOO!

Jon Bellion is probably one of the greatest modern day artists. He is so extremely versatile and does basically everything. Just listen to some of his catalogue, you won't be disappointed by this man.
crazy how he stays in the shadows on purpose and lets other artist shine off his work...thats staying true af to you
Okay there’s so much to react to with him. First off the entire human condition album. And then his “making of” videos, and his acoustic videos. So you can truly see how incredibly talented this man is. Not to mention he’s produced for some of the biggest musicians
Would be dope to see you react to “the making of” videos he puts out and how he makes songs. 👍🏽
Loving the new reacts!🙌🏼
It's about time someone did this breakdown... There's so much I never picked up while listening, and it's one of my faves, thanks, great work ♥️
so glad I found this channel - one of the best breakdowns I've seen on CZcams so far. excited to watch more
Yesss! I'm so happy you finally reviewed Jon!
YYYEEESSSS! I'm so happy you reacted to Jon Bellion! I look forward to more reacts each week
YEEEAAAHHHH!!! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I love how you break down the lyrics and really try to dissect each and every bar's meaning. You earned a subscriber.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY FOR FOREVER
Ok first of all thank you and welcome to the Jon Bellion family aka Beautiful Mind. Second of all Jon is both a singer and rapper but most of the time he's a singer. He raps on songs such as New York Soul Part 2, Overwhelming, Lets Begin and a couple of others. He really got big from his The Making of videos where he would release a song like his big hit Guillotine and then he would release the video of him making the song you should check it out. I really hope you continue down the Jon Bellion journey like you did with NF, TOP and some others.
I love watching you vibe out to music...man, seriously Ernest. I came for the awesome Twenty One Pilots reactions & breakdowns but stayed because your appreciation of the craft is bar none one of the greatest. Your love of music just shines through, your knowledge and your ability to point out minuscule details or slight nuances that others (myself included) miss when it comes to artistry, or production is really a joy to watch.
Thank you for this reaction. I had never heard of Jon Bellion before, but I have this guy on repeat now! Keep it up!
Thank you for this great breakdown.
I’m a huge Jon Bellion fan and it’s great that this was recommended. You definitely have to react to more of his music, I like how you analyze lyrics, subbed!
I've listened to this song since the release date, but your analysis of the lyrics brought so much clarity! Thanks for breaking it up and explaining specific lines Jon wrote
Bro this made me so happy the minute i read the title cause his producing videos are good asf, should watch on the side or somethin...keep up the work bro😁
Just found your channel and your way of analyzing a song on the first go is so impressive
Oh my god my heart sank. You really reacted to him! 🥺❤😍😭
Ooooh, Jon is so good. You're in for a treat when you dig into his music! Happy listening!
Great video man! Loved the breakdown!
FINALLY!!! More please😁
Bruh, your ability to hear, understand and break down lyrics is beyond phenomenal. I love these videos bro. Excellent stuff
Just found your channel, and love the breakdown. And yes, jon bellion is the TRUTH
I have no idea how you got all of those references, it’s one of my favourite songs and most of them went over my head
Yooo finally on the Bellion reactions , let's get it. I started listening to him after he went on tour with twenty-one pilots.
So glad I stumbled across your channel. Especially seeing you react to my favourite artist !!
Also: when you talked about storytelling and how it makes songs and the artist iconic I immediately had to think of "Russel Westbrook On A Farm" by Lil Dicky - that shit is unbelievable. I can't believe you haven't reacted to that song yet ! A MUST !!!!
Your reactions and lyrical analysis/insight is actually next level, especially next to all these other reaction channels. You’ve definitely earned a sub. Hoping you react to more Jon Bellion!
Your Patreons are cool dudes, man. You are reacting to all my favourite bands :D
Can’t believe I’m finding this dude today! This rap and vibe and beats are so low key and hard at the same time my god! Earnest you summed up that first minute and half perfectly!
This is historic day! What a fucking vibe!!! Can’t wait to dive in!!! Man I love new music and talentttt!!!
only heard of him in passing (Jon) and never took the time to dive into his music. after the first two minutes my mind exploded. that was nuts. thanks for the breakdown as usual because i needed it for sure on this track.
I have never seen anyone react like this wow you broke it down deep!
incredible! you know so much🤯
Nicely done carnal, this break down is a great example of the reason i have you on my #1 reacciónist play list. 😎👍
Bruh your videos are keeping me sane through this quarantine bro. I'm loving it ❤️
I thought i caught all the bars in this one, but now i know i didn't. My mind is blown seeing how much went over my head. Awesome reaction and breakdown🔥🔥🔥
MY FAVOURITE REACTION VIDEO ON THE INTERNET!!! Jon deserves such reaction my mans insane! 🔥♥️♥️♥️
😂😂😂 This is just too funny... Seeing you run mad and ramble over each bar is so funny and I started pitying you at one point😂😂😂
If you enjoy storytelling in lyrics you'll love He is the Same by Jon, a whole life story in there
LIRR is the Long Island Rail Road, so headed to the Garden is Madison Square Garden not that it matters, this was awesome
With a Heineken in a bag, Classic LIRR vibe :)
Bro you break down bars better than anyone I’ve ever seen. Keep it up bro✊🏻✊🏻
best song review I’ve seen in a MINUTE. I’ve listened to this song a billion freaking times and I had to look on Genius to understand some of the bars, but you understood almost every bar the first time around. Super impressed, keep it up bro.
Found me a new artist thanks to you man! Thanks bruv!
Finally!!! Jon Bellion's production and passion for music is crazy. You'll appreciate it for sure.
Hands down the breakdown was amazing! Subbed and making this ago to for this 🙌🏻
coming here to rewatch while I wait for more
Omg !!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 do more of these dudes they were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🥇🥇🥇🥇
Your breakdowns are insane. Good shit man
YES. Pls go on a Jon Bellion binge. He is musical creativity personified.
I love your reactions and I've loved jon ever since I found out he was opening for twenty one pilots in 2017 or so, he puts on an amazing show and he only had 20ish minutes and he gained a fan for life
I clicked so fast! I can’t wait!
You're the only person I've seen be able to break down Jon's bars so well. He's a musical and lyrical genius, and you caught his references perfectly.
Okay when you caught the Coheed and Cambria I freaked! I loved that band, the line was one of the sickest lines I swear. Straight 🔥
Finally!!! Jon Bellion is the truth. Definitely check out New York Soul Part 2. He sings, raps, writes, produces, he does so much. One of the best artists I’ve ever heard
I found your channel in December last year looking for some Eminem songs breakdowns.
I stayed because your work is just great and I never missed a video after.
I noticed that when you react to artists you're not familiar with, like you did in the past two videos, you bring a different energy to the table, you're so enthusiastic, your vibe is particular and I love that.
Keep up with the amazing work!
Love how in depth you went with this! In essence, Jon Bellion is the physical embodiment of a Jack of All Trades
Broke these bars down so well, good review man, well in depth.
Impressed with the intricacy of his rhymes look into how he makes his beats and instrumentals just as impressive and deep if not more
GOD BLESS YOU for giving us a 25 minute breakdown of my favorite Bellion song ever. I know so many people said it already, but this man deserves a reaction chain, you’ll be blown away after everything! Also the LIRR is the Long Island Rail Road and he’s on his way to Madison Square Garden in NY. He’s from Long Island NY(so am I lol). And the line “I’m still pushing the same whip I was driving to sachem” is him saying that he’s still driving the same car he drove to high school, he went to Sachem North High School. If you need anymore insider info I got you lmao this man is a LEGEND here on the island. We treat him like our pride and joy, because he is obviously. But this video was FIRE, so thank you!!
Love that you mentioned Andre3000. Jon Bellion loves him. He talked about him in his Genius interview. (He also talks about this song and answers a ton of the questions you had in that interview) He also has lyrics mentioning Andre3000 in his song "Wutup Snow"
Been a Jon Bellion fan since the beginning! He's incredible.
YES! THANK YOU!
Sold Gold reaction ❣️ fire and what an amazing track,👍🏻
I love the fact that he breaks it down straight up different from these other reactors. This is my girxt video im already subbing
This is a side of Jon I have never seen. I didn't know he could spit like this.
I love this. I’ve known this song since it came out but you pointed out some things I’d never even thought about. Particularly on the Nickalodeon part!!
this video will always be one of my favorites ❤
