    Personally I like to use a portable chalkboard and stone tools to etch it with for permanent file storage but, as you say, each to their own.

      Thank you so much!! Ali Abdaal has been one of my icons for so long and I'm amazed you were a follower of his back many years ago. Let's hope that I will grow to that level some day in the future! I'm also excited for WWDC and the new software announcements. Thanks for the support and hope you enjoy my videos :)

      Thanks man! I think they don't do undergrad there, so honestly I'd put Monash on top. But each to their own!

    Could you say the laptop could replace a laptop? for me as an engineering student. Im going to umich this fall and am yet to buy all my tech, rn im thinking the macbook m1 pro with an iphone 14 pro and maybe get the most cheap-basic ipad with the pencil for notes later in the year in the black friday sale. But if the ipad can do everything my laptop does then id rather get the ipad with the keyboard magic thing and a pc for my dorm room instead of a macbook

      Fantastic question! Congrats on your engineering degree! Although I'm not super familiar with software requirements for your course, I'd say that there might be some limitations using certain design/engineering applications the iPad. However, with that said if you have a solid PC setup in your dorm which can run everything you need, and just want to use the iPad for classes that is perfectly fine too. This is what I have done so far in med school and it has worked great for me. With that said, if you think it's too much of a risk, I would just go for the M1 MacBook Pro and grab a basic iPad with Apple Pencil and that should serve you very well regardless. Hope this helps!

    I am going to be in medical college this year, in India, and I would like to ask you if Ishould get an iPad or a laptop for functioning full 4-5 years of med school?

    • @eoghankuiper
      @eoghankuiper  Před rokem

      Hey Vrishti! While the two are extremely similar in terms of capability, my usual recommendation is to get a laptop first then an iPad. This way you can play it safe and if, for example, some software doesn’t work on the iPad, you still have the backup of using a computer. However, if you have the budget for both, a cheap iPad and MacBook can work really well too! Hope this helps!
