You can do this by dumping 6 cups of water into your pc while gmod is up and running, dont go over the limit though unless you have a graphics card that can handle it

It is mostly C++ and hlsl. Lua is just used as the frontend
Just the sound is missing, then it's just legit water simulation. Not just some particles, but actual believable water.

gwater 2 is actually quite optimized. Meetric uses a gtx 760 or something like that

@@Silver_Sandto make you feel better, the optimization in Java Vanilla Minecraft is genuinely so horrible that genuinely good machines are also struggling to run at optimal frame rates suitable for that machine.
Also let this be said, i run red dead redemption 2 better than I do vanilla Minecraft on java.
@@ajay.jaywalks yeah, though the optimization has gotten way better with the newer versions, I can't run 1.0 without framerate stutters constantly but 1.20 runs pretty okay (at around 25-35 fps) consistently un-modded

Now it needs to evaporate slowly and that would make it 10x better so like if there's a thin peice of water on the ground make it slowly disappear and put an imprint into the ground and then that imprint also slowly disappears.

To improve performance make it so the water inside a large mass doesn't have physics and then when exposed to air it will move or something else moves inside then active physics recures. And simulate the pressure by volume
Particle physics calculations are done via the Nvidia FleX library
