Switch games don't take up nearly as much storage and don't need to copy from disks I'm pretty sure, so it doesn't need much. Plus sd cards are much cheaper than an expansion card that costs about the same price as the console

Battery packs are definitely a nice to have. I got spoiled to ps3 and ps4 controllers having rechargeable batteries and those add the functionality for cheap.

That also means if you had a physical collection then you need to rebuy games digitally for the next gen console. And it also saves the company money to produce an all digital console because they don't need to include a dvd drive and it saves a lot of money in millions of units made.
I just used a wired controller, it makes my life so much easier. Plus mine has changeable RGB lights and reprogrammable back paddles, and it was only $40. I do have a 750GB storage card, too, so that helps as well.

Hey guys, If you dont wanna buy a expensive ass expansion card grab an old hard drive plug it in transfer your games onto it, you wont be able to play the new gen games on it but! You can transfer it so you wont have to redownload it again and again potentially ruining your wifi speed thats what i do also! Side note if you want faster transfer speeds get an ssd external hard drive 2.5inch with an 2.5inch enclosure its quick just still not quick enough to run the latest and greatest just fast enough to store them and transfer when you want to play them.

Transferring a 100GB game takes me like 20 minutes on a 128mb cache 7200rpm Hard drive. (2.5inch)
