Tyrel Lomax has been the best in the world, he definitely was not this year, coming back in this super rugby season. Hurricanes dominated mostly when he wasn't there. Finlay Christie is very similar to Aaron smith, he's just a much worse version. Neither contributes much on defence, both kick the ball away consistantly, both stand around exclaiming to the ref while the ball gets taken from under their nose instead of cleaning it up themselves. I completely agree with Ratima and by the same criteria Sevu Reece was amazing this year. Clarke, Telea and Ioane did very little actual positional play to earn their places behind completely dominating pack.
