Playa Hermosa Costa Rica is famous for being one of the top places in Costa Rica for Hermosa surf! Surfing Hermosa should only be attempted if you have experience surfing.
Costa Rica's Playa Hermosa often host many surfing tournaments and contest.
Playa Hermosa has several nice restaurants right on the beach. You can enjoy the local food, people watch, and even see the locals catching a ride if the surf is right.
Of all of Costa Rica beaches, Playa Hermosa near Jaco is definitely a favorite for surfers. It's not a swim-friendly place, and Playa Hermosa sand is not easy walking.

Nice video I stayed at the Terraza Del Pacifico hotel 4 times over the years
There are a LOT of nice places in this area. Jaco is a booming tourist town.
@@OffTheGridHomesteadCostaRica I know I love Jaco besides the 4 times I stayed in Hermosa I`ve stayed 5 more times in Jaco for a total of 9 times.

@@OffTheGridHomesteadCostaRica It`s not so much the night life I enjoy what I like about Jaco it has lots of great restaurants and sodas plus lots of shopping and it has a bank to change money and it has a bus stop to go to the airport and to Quepos . I don`t go to Jaco for the women of the night or the woman who do massages. The only time I go to El Cocal is to enjoy a beer on their beach side bar to watch Jaco`s amazing sunsets. When the women approach me I just say no sexo and they leave me .

Yes, you can get a lot of different food in Jaco. I do like that part of Jaco. It's hard to find good food anywhere in Costa Rica unless you are close to tourist areas.

I'm a diver not a surfer. What would you say are the best options in terms of areas to live in this regard?
Diving and snorkeling...is much better on the Caribbean side...but the people there in my opinion are terrible.
You dive on the Pacific side...but not much snorkeling...
