These were the GOOD days of daytime television.

Elizabeth Hasslebeck says, “I don’t really feel anything”. Truer words have never been spoken.

The show feels so much more natural here.

Rosie was so right. Makes sense why she became so HUGE in the '90s and reigned over the Daytime Emmys.

Looking back, this show really was Rosie & The View... And from the way she spoke, Rosie knew that as well.

Ever since Rosie left The View the first time, the show hasn’t been so good. I didn’t really like the second time she was on, but Joy, Elisabeth, Barbara, and Rosie all made great television.

It's ironic that Elizabeth slags off Fox but ends up on the Fox News Channel!

Go Rosie, always loved you and even Kathy Griffin.

Wow, to look back at a time when the left was laid back on free speech and the right was uptight about it makes me pine for these times to return. If the Imus debacle happened now, Joy would be condemning him and Elisabeth would (may)be defending him (maybe not her, but the right would be).

Elisabeth was on the money here.

Rosie ( a hyper liberal) defending imus is a perfect example of a nuanced opinion. People these days dont seem to have them as often. Not people in the limelight anyway

Roger Ailes must have let Bill O’Reilly have the power.

I understand what you're saying, but she also took a dig at herself, saying how "loud" she was & how she hated hearing that "loud" person on youtube until she realized it was her... lol.
It wasn't the most tactful comment, but I think she was trying to pump the panel up for the emmys because the show was more popular than ever. She was trying to attribute that to the current discussion & not solely to herself, although it's easy to misinterpret it, like the "US troops=terrorists" comment.

The view would not have survived if the Emmys gave the hosts individual Awards.

Yeah never never really fought when Meredith was there. Joy wold only fight with Star from time to time about I dont know what. Rosie started these topics. I remember that Lisa ling also wanted to talk about important topics and they would allow that , thats why she left the show because she was tired of talking about boring girly topics. I mean it was peaceful and happy back then but it was boring I have to say. I barely watched it.

i love rosie, but when she says "u never talked about real issues before me," i cringed.
I mean it's true, but she wonders why the staff/co-hosts who had been there for 10 years before hand didn't like her...

Ironic that they won the Emmy the next year when Whoopi took over.

I know that Elizabeth was supposed to be the "conservative" view on the show, and that maybe Bill Geddie was feeding certain propaganda that he wanted her speaking on, but for the most part she never immersed into the O'Reilly/Trump/Conservatives/Rosie thing too much, which may have actually been what upset Rosie. Yet, I still can understand why maybe by the end of the 9 months working in the all-consuming vortex that was Rosie on the View (and I really appreciate Rosie's voice) Elizabeth maybe had it up to here regarding Rosie's victimizing pleas. Rosie said what she said (which was the truth) but people pay consequences for speaking the truth all the time, and its what you have to suck up and accept. Rosie didn't want to, so she chose to leave the View.

If Elisabeth would always dress like in this video, I wouldn't care what they're talking about. lol
