I have asked that question many times she is the biggest baby. There is just no way she should have been on this show. There were far more qualified women who should have been sitting in that chair. Her biggest claim to fame is that she was on survivor and she married some football player. They should have put her on the real housewives of something. She is no journalist or a professional of any sort she should be sitting in the audience.

And I will say that I'm very disappointed with seeing how Barbara Ann Elizabeth pretended like everything was okay when they came back from commercial that's a bunch of BS. This just goes to show how utterly insane Elisabeth Hasselbeck is. She's describing that on air interaction as Barbara Walters reprimanding her and not for what it actually was. She was *_DE-ESCALATING_* the situation because clearly Hasselbeck couldn't contain her emotions with the charged topic at hand. And she was trying to get the conversation back on track and to calm down heightened emotions. Hasselbeck has always been a complete nutbag.
To be fair to Walters she created the view on this premise, having a bunch of women with opposing views (hence The View) duke it out live on television and she was very candid about it. Hasselbeck knew exactly what she was signing up for when she joined and if she couldn't handle the heat she should have stayed out of the kitchen... And yeah she is a whackjob.

I watch a lot of comedy documentaries from the 80s and early 90s, and it’s hard to find anyone say something negative about Joy Behar. So many of them have said she was like their mom on tour. Love her or hate her political views, it seems like she is a good person.
Joy was the same way with Meghan McCain too, but both Elisabeth and Meghan are self-centered brats who endlessly smear Joy every chance they get, it's so gross.

Those women only like their own opinion. When they have a differing opinion, they have to cut to commercial. You don't have to agree with each other (that was the point of the show), but give everyone a chance to get their viewpoint across. On that show you have 3 or 4 against 1. It is not a fair set up. For that reason I never watch that show. They started changing so many co-hosts that I got tired of getting used to someone new. Did Barbara die yet? What is she now, 100?

If you watched the show Meghan has her own temper tantrums almost every day. She reads her ignorant notes that are mostly right wing conspiracy theories and the guest on the show prove her wrong every day and then she almost starts to cry. Joy points out that her claims are ignorant and Meghan starts talking over everyone and then turns toward the audience and yells at them to. Her pet is a cactus, I guess that's because even the desert can't kill a cactus. And the cactus has more intelligence and personality.

The problem was that Elizabeth was getting to the point where she was so emotional that she was yelling, being really loud and at that point people stop listening to you because you sound overtly emotional. People tune you out and your message is not heard anymore. If only for the reason that it's hard on their ears to listen to or to follow. Barbara was trying to calm her down so Elizabeth could get her point across.
