It's a meth head thing. On meth you have so much energy and with digging you get a sense of purpose and something you can put your energy into. Jesse of course knew this because he himself had a meth problem.

My friend’s brother was on the honor roll in jr. high, got into drugs in senior year and eventually meth. Spent 5 years on the street, lost all his teeth, almost lost his arm to flesh eating bacteria. It’s just horrible stuff and I don’t get it when I see these good looking women on social apps begging for ice cream and what not.

Easily the scariest scene in the whole show. The actor holding the shotgun is so good
To be fair, that crazy dude thought jesse was just trying to snatch the drugs.
This was legitimately one of the most tense nerve wracking scenes I’ve ever watched in a movie or tv show, the actor playing the meth head did such a good job portraying a seriously unstable person Jesse may have well have been locked in that room with a tiger, one wrong move one wrong word and boom he’s done.
Gus is such a great boss. Just do your job and you won't have any problems with him.

@@manifest5768Victor was killed because he showed up too late to stop Gale, but far worse than that, entered the crime scene, touched stuff, and showed his face to an entire gaggle of witnesses there. Several colossal screw-ups in a row that also made him a non-usable asset since his face was now known and associated with the matter... yeah, Gus decided he'd be better if used as an intimidation tactic against Walt and Jesse.
@@JB-xl2jcIt was more than just that too, Victor didn’t stay in his lane trying to go off and cook meth on his own putting all that equipment at risk. That was the last straw.
