Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?

it'd be 10 if you removed your dumb logo

3 for skylr clip
its hilarious to me that jesse was failing chem and then went on to pretty much take the most nerve racking chem lab final exam ever lmaoooo
He had the best teacher though so he was prepared
It's easy when you're copying somebody else's homework without understanding any bit of it
@@valeria262he definitely understands it. He just never cared to try in high school
@@valeria262 "I don't care if he's a PIG FARMER! He cooks better meth than you do, with your fancy college degrees."
@@valeria262except we get a couple scenes that demonstrate that jesse DOES understand it, the two that come to mind are when he’s cooking with badger and he corrects him multiple times and the time that he cooks on his own and walt tries to find an issue with his meth but jesse did everything right so walt gets pissy
The sad thing is the Cartel probably would’ve treated him better than Jack’s gang did next season
Jesse would have had his own Hacienda with fully armed guards at all times given that he was more of an asset than the entire Salamanca family ever was... For like a few months until they had a dozen cooks and their main chemist learned the process
Their main chemist would have exact same issue that Todd had. His product would be subpar, because just like Todd, he didn’t understand that cleanliness of the lab plays a very important role.
@@zekeiwa5837 hmm, using Jesse to teach their other cooks, that sounds like Gus using Walt to teach Gale, and then (according to Gus' initial plan) BOOM! Walt is over.
@@JustRememberWhoYoureWorkingFor Gus only wanted Walt gone after he killed the dealers. Before, he gave Walt an open ended extension to $15M
100% true. They wouldn't like some gringo doing business or telling their guys whats what on their side of the border (even for them) but as long as he kept his mouth shut and didn't cause waves he'd likely be fine. Just learn Spanish, stay off the stuff, and know your place then chances are the only risk he would have had was from southern rival competitors.
It's always weird to watch this show because I grew up in the city. We all know the set locations. My mom and I used to get our car washed at that location. It's on Menaul Blvd. The hospital that Hank was in when he got shot, was the hospital I was born in. It's like seeing your childhood in bizarroworld.
That’s wild cause I feel the exact same way with The Sopranos. I lived in Bergen County Nj all my like, so watching the scenes that incorporated iconic landmarks, restaurants, or gas stations I recognized in their sets also gave me same feeling. I will say Breaking Bad had a way more significant impact on the communities they filmed at cause all of North Jersey is way more dense compared to Albuquerque. The real homeowners of the White’s residence is a perfect example of that alone
Had a similar experience with Grimm. They had a gang shooting scene and described a neighborhood as “real bad” and I was like “Yo my old elementary school is literally a block down that street.”
Please give this to your car wash professional and have an A-1 day!
I wish I had that experience watching a show
Anytime a show is set in Hawai’i my entire family gets together to identify the sets it’s really fun
I promise you this: either we're all going home, or none of us are
Oh, let it be the latter one.
did i miss it here or did the creator of this video skip the best line of that scene?
in this context it isn't true. this video has 120,000 views so probably at least one person is not going home and the rest of us are. they will not necessarily die. they might just stay somewhere else for a day. ironic huh. What do you think of that vince. Loser
@@nootcracker Mike says that to Jesse afterwards by the pool, not when they're in the lab
at 0:49 I was really hoping that the bald guy sniffs it, then exclaims TIGHT TIGHT!!
lmaooo
What? What's this in Reference to?

Saul was good at being suspicious of Ted with that kind of money
being suspicious of Ted with that kind of money was Saul's middle name
A high level snake oil salesman can always spot a lower quality one.
As you should with anyone
@@EskmoFabiothats actually really well said 😅😂
Its not Sauls skill, honestly. If someone has issues with money, lending/gifting them more will not solve the issue.
See... managing money is a skill. Some people, plainly speaking, dont have it. Their motto is "spend money to make money", except they forgot the first part about how to make money in the first place, so they just spend money and run themselves down to the ground... rapidly.
Its funny how their little meth calculator goes up like a punching machine at a carnival
Punching bad
It ain’t exactly “little”
@@JustAnotherNamelessGuybig
It's actually a power unit for an industrial oven, the numbers are the thermostat settings lol
"little meth calculator" absolutely sent me 😂
So, they recorded every single step of the process of making 96% pure crystal and they still wanted to keep Jesse?
Just because you recorded the process in some particular conditions doesn't mean those conditions (like ambient temperature and humidity) can't change and the process have to be altered. This was already explained earlier in the show: Víctor knew the process by heart from watching Walt and Jesse and he tried to replicate it, but Walt told him it's not just blindly following a recipe. Also todd was taught by Walt yet he couldn't hit that high level of purity by himself, so he had to keep Jesse to do the cooking.
@@JustRememberWhoYoureWorkingFor Jesse learned from watching.
@@paulelunico
Except he didn’t just watch. He was helping Walt the entire time.
Todd did the same and got something like 60-70%
While he's with them, he's not working for himself or anyone else.
Why did this guy say "The first of many" with same vibes as "Just remember who you're working for"
except in this case, it wasn't even like a threat. It was just so matter of fact, like the guy saw no issue at all with belonging to the cartel
Because tuco was already dead.
"what did you say?"
@@Slowzinn143 nothing man, just saying, like they gotta remember they're working for you
i felt the same, kinda thought that gus would kill him right there
I swear I have forgotten so much about this show. I need to go back and do a re-watch.
If only they had a Albuquerque meth head, the could’ve tested the meth and known it was bomb from the start
I thought that’s what the needle was going to be for at first. Instead of putting it in a machine they give it to a tweaker and they can accurately assess how pure it is, lol
This show proves that greed will get you dead! It's just not worth it!
Exactly, people don't know when to stop, if they had at a certain point, they would have had a better life than most.
unless, youre a billionaire. then, even laws dont matter to you
It is worth it if you are competent and smart enough to get away with it.
That is why I only ever rooted for Gus.
Saul was 10x the Lawyer that any of the main cast deserved. They paid a premium, and he gave premium legal counsel and service to his clients, always going out on a limb looking out for their interests. And they all treat conversations with him like they just found a sewer rat in their pantry.
@2:03 when my batch of cookies come out on point.
i was really scared for Jesse in this scene. i had no idea what was about to play out. rewatching this scene, i realize it's also foreshadowing for the horrific fate Jesse suffers in season 5
The sad irony, among other ironic things, is that the cartel probably would’ve treated Jesse better than Jack did
@@jakandratchet9930who would win in a fight/shootout war? The Salamanca’s, Gus and mike vs jacks gang?
@@morgancarolan8680 that's interesting, I sometimes wonder about this too. Jack's gang took down Declan's and Hank and Gómez while suffering no losses so at least we know they are strong.
Its funny when joaquin said “you belong to the cartel now” he meant it as a good thing like “your one of us now”
Thats not joaquin....Thar's Gaff
@@EngineerMikey5 how did you know that
@@t29heavy67 Because joaquin is the one jesse shot remember?
@@EngineerMikey5 i had no idea until you told me I completely thought gaff was joaquin and i didnt even know they were different people😂 i cant be the only one who didnt notice lol. Either way my original comment still applies😂

That man was lucky. Paid by husband money and had fun with his wife. It is disturbing sight to watch.
is it really that disturbing though
The fact that Jesse became friends with the cartel, then enemies, and still managed to live a brand new life is an impressive feat
The talking in the back rpaising Jesse. ''Tiene talento''
That’s a dark statement
Fuck! What a curse for Jesdie. I loved his character
Ted's going to have to make Huell "reasonably" happy again...
When I first watched this I imagined the most fucked situation for Jesse
he is “owned”by the Cartel by as soon as they can make the meth without him they kill him
Nah they would've kept him as a human slave just like Uncle jack and his gang did...
The cartel recorded how Jesse made it but they don't know the intrisic details of HOW to cook....
very nice of the cartel to have high standards on their products for their consumers to enjoy.
When you realize that Jesse went from flunking high-school (basic) chemistry to an "exam" like this of advanced chemistry, highest stakes possible... And made it!
This is the exact moment when Ted Beneke became Johnny Fabulous.
I wish I could wipe my memory and watch the series over again
Watching this for the first time was surreal
Ted is the type of person who calls into Dave Ramsey's show for help lol
How they shove the cameras in faces, the cartel were pioneers for pranksters
It was clever of Saul to tone down his clothes so he was less noticeable.
4:03
This is the moment when Ted became Vegetaberg.
Dude that would be SO TERRIFYING to know you’re TOAST after they learn the recipe.
Jesse been living that life had Walt teach them the right way and that’s how he got outta that he made fun of those wanna be cooks in the best way possible “show you know what your doing hahahab! Best show ever still watch it
1:35 I'm curious is that an actual device or just something they whipped up to make it look cool
Actual device. Could be gas chromatography/mass spec. They did a decent job of showing the vertical lines on the monitor that reflects the chemical composition. The 96% calculator screen is probably whipped up to make it easier to see.
It's basic chemistry
@@tianli9181 In truth, Jesse's meth may have been even more pure than that. The way the cartel chemist mashes up his meth sample... who know how sterile his equipment was.
It Is a gas chromatografy and with his spectrum ,you can know quality and quantity of a chemistry sunstance @@komodo420.
The one thing that I didn't think they answered........what happened to the footage of Jesse cooking?
Probably on live leak
Saul;s suit is perfection.
I promises there’s no meth purity machine irl
Amazing
What's really bizarre, is that pharmaceutical grade methamphetamine production has been well understood, for over a century. Unlike LSD, manufacturing pure meth is not intrinsically difficult. Why anyone would want to manufacture, let alone use the disgusting shit, is another story.
Because its very very difficult and expensive to produce pure meth, you need to be able to afford proper equipment, supplies, space to actually produce it, and you need to learn how to sanitize properly so nothing is contaminated.
Can someone explain why he would belong to the cartel I remember watching the show but don't get why gus have to give him up ? Was it like a act of good faith ? Or a debt ?
Would you not want your own in-house big money maker?
SPOILERS BELOW
Gus didny plan for the cartel to stick around, he used jesse as bait
Gus set up a deal where he would give one of his high quality meth manufacturers (jesse) to the cartel in exchange for something. Gus had no intention of actually going through with this plan and was merely using it as an excuse to get all of the remaining salamancas together with their guards down so he could kill them and begin his revenge
I really enjoyed this episode. (Not when Walt and Walter jr were crying for half the episode). But seeing the cartel and Gus take them all out, it was satisfying.
always obey to colonel Carrillo
Gus really messed that one up for Jessie. He would have had a sweet life down there.
I'm glad Jesse at least got out in the end. rich and starting a new life..

Who else watched the BET 365 commercial with Aaron Paul before watching this clip? 🙋🏻♂️
im not gonna lie after rewatching better call saul for like the 3rd time... seeing him interact with this storyline feels so wierd..
I believe Jesse and the other young Salamanca kid could have been bestfriends.

Ted might be the dumbest character in the entire show & that’s including all the junkies that crashed at Jesse’s house
Damn every villain tells them there either moving or living in Mexico 🇲🇽 against there will, but after watching all thar happens based on the decisions they make in new Mexico maybe the "villains" never had the wrong idea lol
Would that have been a paid gig? Probably could have done well with a lot of perks
All that sophistication, planning and detail to manufacture a lethal drug to destroy people and society? These guys going do anything but they do this smh
welcome to life, Are you new here?
@@Rykojames are you going to pretend to be the tough guy here like you really been behind the real scenes on how drug operation goes down? This scene is portraying a hard working, detailed oriented freak like Gus and a educated scientist, two kinds of men who can do very well in this life without the need of peddling poison. For the non-criminal such as myself it does happen to be an intriguing glimpse about motive. Don’t come out here screaming naivety at viewers, you not that special and it’s just a tv show

Fuck Pinkman! I wanna see how that scene with Saul ended!
This is the moment where the guy in the hazmat suit behind Jesse started writing on his clipboard.
so what happened to the cartel that recorded this level of purity? Couldn't they keep on making 96%?
They don’t address the 50 people in the room and the guys video taping and recording everything he does. Should have been only blue meth coming iut of Mexico by then.
If Todd couldn't make the blue meth after multiple sessions of hands-on training from Walt himself, what makes you think some guys who recorded with their cell phones one time can do it?
Shit, as long as he keeps me safe, anonymous, well paid, and flexible hours, I'd cook whatever he tells me. I'd be dead either way.
So this means Jesse was as good as Gale?
So there are machines designed to measure the purity of crystal meth?
The purity of whatever you put in it lmao
