When he talked about the tears when they said "and the new" being sad because he was letting go of his brother, what a story. Darren Barker, humble champion.

Haha I been watching your Mexican music videos I can't believe your into British boxing.
Barker was Eddie Hearn's first world champion. Darren Barker was very close to retiring after Martinez but Hearn convinced him to continue for one more run at the sport and he managed to become world champ.

Another outstanding success from Finchley Boxing Club, great feel, humility, all about respect, hard work, and producing on the night. Darren Barker typifies the spirit and the quality from that gym, a loyal brother and clearly a great father also - all you can ask in this world. RIP our old coach Colin Webster

They should put the full the documentary on free view. I’ve been looking on CZcams everywhere and can’t even find a pirate copy. It’s a great documentary but you’ve either got to have enough money for sky sports or watch at your mum & dads.

I found it hilarious how the UK boxing media built and hyped Barker up after getting gifted a world title, then dropped him completely when he got smashed by Felix Sturm. He was supposed to dominate that fight and when he got beat the excuses came flying as usual.

I'm Irish mate so no loyalty to Britain but you are a typical boxing casual fan with a comment like that , if you watched DB from the start of his career you would not be so caviler in your opinion , the man is a real life Rocky and please please except my next comment as response to your response of this ( fuck off) 😂
