We'll review the last three to four Jupiter in Gemini periods, occurring roughly every 12 years, and I'll offer tips for tracking these past transits with examples from my own life and stories from two clients who've shared their experiences. I don't know how useful this is to everyone else, but I scroll through my archived Google photos and find the dates, and they remind me exactly what I was doing and who I was spending time with. It brings me back to the feeling, so it's very significant. I know Jupiter is a longggg transit, but it's still helpful for when Adam makes these kinds of videos for other planets.

I remember when Jupiter was in Gemini in the year 00/01! I was in Christian school and I was always questioning things in religion class and the teachers HATED it! I was also protecting the kids who were bullied and calling the teachers out for doing nothing, then I was consequently labeled as “disruptive”.

Every Jupiter in Gemini (my 10th H) has meant a big bump or promotion either into an existing job, or a brand new one. All with a little chaos in the year or so afterwards. Every single time. I'm hoping that karma doesn't repeat itself, because those chaotic times were NOT comfortable nor fun. I've made different choices since then, so I should hope not. I should note that this is in perfect development this time around, too, as I have an interview literally TODAY for a promotional job within the same company I'm already employed with and was recommended for it. 😂 I love astrology! 🎉🙌🏼
During 2000/01 Saturn traveled through Gemini. For me personally life began to get serious as I started university. Now Saturn is in Jupiter's sign. I suspect that Saturn will keep potential chaos at a minimum. Come to think of it, the two will be in a square to each other this year.
Gemini 8th house here. This coincides with my Jupiter trine to my 12th. 2000-2001 was completely lost on what to do with my life. I had dabbled in community college but nothing stuck. Floated for a while. 2012-2013, took care of, lost both grandparents, took a job as a home health scheduler. Because I developed a passion for caring for the elderly specifically those with dementia.
Gemini rising here, I found it I was pregnant with my first child June 2000 and gave birth to my last child in June 2013. WOW, Sagittarius in the seventh and Jupiter in the first, pretty cool stuff 😊
Gemini is in my 8th house. 2012 my dad died and I was the executor for his will sorting out the inheritance for myself and my siblings 😮
My immediate thoughts in regards to Jupiter in Gemini around 2012 to 2013 , I was just getting out on my own for the first time making a big move my myself to San Diego to live with a friend . Away from all family. And I met so many new people and made new connections and improved my communication game I worked two jobs at one point which was something I never have done , I know it's not a huge deal but for me it was . Communication and connections were at a high I even went to a deaf event and met a lot of deaf people since my roommates were deaf , and learned more sign language as well . Was honestly a very cool year !

#grabbed From June - July 2001 Jupiter in Gemini was in my 7th house. My partner at the time ended our relationship when I announced an opportunity to pursue studies overseas for my Masters degree in Educational Theatre. In 1988 I went on a tour through Switzerland and France with my High School French class.
The 70s one was such a totally different world for me personally than any of the others which mostly had to do with positive life changes instead of Extreme personal home remodel. Makes me wonder what else shows up in my personal history from doing astropsychological archeology. I did a different inspection going back to my birth looking for some medical info n was shocked and yet amazed to read my life before and after adoption. To keep reading aspects of my little kid self as though reading a different kind of personal biography. This was quite an interesting talk about the Jupiter transit of Gemini. Many blessings.

Capricorn rising here. The Jupiter in Gemini transit happens in my 6th house of labor co-present with my native Mars. We talked about Gemini being double-bodied and representing “in between “ things, in year 2,000 I worked on the “Y2K” team in the IT department of an insurance company with programmers frantically working to get the computer systems year 2,000 compliant, I was an assistant and found myself going to night school and then getting a new job as a project manager making more money; in 2012 this restlessness on the job was present again, I made a transition from one employer to another and even moved states; and now I’m on the brink of another transition with my job. I understand 6th house to represent the working class, employees or servants and it is what it is, jobs that others don’t want to do or are in service to a master so to speak…at any rate I’m a legal assistant and have started talking to career coaches because I have a strong desire to change jobs, I feel like I’m at the end of the rope …maybe because the south node is in my tenth house on Libra and Pluto is on my 2nd house in Aquarius…this air trine is going to send me into a resource transforming, career accumulating, labor expanding whirlwind revolution. Interestingly enough I pulled the Prince of Swords yesterday and had a job interview….Prince of Swords is air of air and the moon was transiting Gemini…something about my hands on experience or on the job training is ready to transition and expand.
I have Gemini as my 4th house. 2000-2001 I started university and started a relationship. He also got me a puppy which was stupid as I had a crazy work load for school but I ended up loving that little fur baby more than anything. 2011-2012 that fur baby that I loved more than anything passed away. It sent me into my first dark night of the soul. I was also starting a relationship with someone and in 2014 we ended up moving in together but broke up in 2016.
Taurus rising. 1988 I'm not sure but I think I met a friend who introduced me to a whole new world of travel to Germany and Hungary. 2000 to 2001 I got a job as a German teacher in a school in Northern Ireland. 2012 I got a job in a hospice. I became head of Complementary Therapies and devised a Curriculum for training healthcare professionals. This year I am starting the second year in Hellenistic astrology and looking into new ways of supporting myself financially.
I was in grad school during the most recent Jupiter in Gemini period. When you went back to 2000, I was like uhhhh I don't think anything happened yet BUT IT DID! I took an astronomy class in high school and it was the catalyst for being obsessed with the stars! My first child was born July 2012 so this period was marked w/ a new identity and way of being: motherhood. Then another huge transition, I was just leaving HS and starting junior college in 2000/2001 exploring, opening my mind, figuring out who I was. And the previous cycle I was young (6/7) but my parents were getting divorced in 1988/89 and we moved states and my life changed drastically. This year is shaping up to be very transformative as well …. (PS it’s Crystal from the Roots + Sphere’s class!)
I was thinking through this too-my 2000/2001 was moving from grade 7-8 which was into high school from middle school. In 88-89 I was a baby and had been adopted-my first year with my new family! Feels like big big shifts.

2000/2001 pre marriage, same guy, we had bought and renovated our first house together, we broke up and I had to buy him out of that house. My equity from that house is the money we later used to move here.
1988/1989 is the first year we met in high-school.
Just had my 4th Jupiter return at the exact time of the Jupiter/Uranus conjuction and that was in my 8th house, received my finalized separation agreement, 1st alimony payment and the following week the equalization of the marriage assets.

#grabbed in 2000, I was in my first full year of living in the house I bought at age 25. Flash forward to this upcoming ingress back into Gemini and I am preparing to sell this place and go elsewhere, after 25 years here. I expect I will use proceeds from selling to make a down payment on whatever new home I find, and this means I will be straddling two houses as I detach from the old to the new. In other words, an almost-literal expansion of my house of self, whether or not I actually physically reduce my home size dimensions. Gonna be an interesting year. 😎

Gemini Rising, Jupiter in the first house 2012-2013 - I was in high school and I became very intrested in Soccer and I was playing a lot. It was also a magical period for me, I felt like I was "blooming" 😂😂. It started a little earlier than the period of Jupiter entering Gemini, eventhough my Asc starts from the 16th degree of Gemini.

2012-13 was so much healing too, happen to find and jumped into a dream, moved out into a lovely little house, out in nowhere, met some really great friendly genuine kindhearted neighbours, some have stayed in contact, even through the turmoils of some yrs in a different setting with not so friendly surroundings after 2019.
The yrs 2013-2017 was the best Ive had in a long time (after raising kids yrs) Fresh air everyday, in nature.
And those yrs, relearning relying only, on myself, finding inner comfortable feelings.Learnt about who-what, is real true, and not.

Gemini 6th house here...this is the year I got recruited into a management role at a new company, and it jump started my career in a different direction. It was definitely way more work and more of a daily grind, but was a great opportunity to grow #grabbed

Well, guess I'm an old lady! Although I don't feel hold! Sag ascendant. 77-78 got professional graduate degree, 88-89 first husband died, 2009-01 major spiritual experience, 2012-13 retired from professional life, now??? began seriously studying magic and energy healing!
Gemini in the first house. I had a baby girl in 2012. I bought a home and got married. Opened a business with my husband. Left that home and sold that business, bought another home across the country and had a second baby girl. Later, I ended that marriage.
June 2000 I was 15 years old and left the country to live a year abroad. There, I fell in love with a foreigner. My life took a sharp turn and I left home for good to travel with my new companion for his work, who actually was a dangerous, abusive person.
1988- I was 5 years old. My mother remarried and became pregnant with twins. My stepfather was actually an abusive man.
Given this information- will I fall in love again and possibilities to travel again? I am hoping to finish my PhD this year!

Libra Rising, last time was Jupiter in Gemini (9H) I was recently separated from my first husband and about a year later right before it ingressed into 10H I meet my second husband on an dating app. We spent six years together including 4 years of marriage. If I’m not mistaken the 9th house is the house of second marriages. In the last few years and almost a result of that marriage failing I discovered my love for philosophy, spirituality and astrology while Jupiter has been in my 8H. I joined Adam’s first year program in November 2023, but taken time attention away from the course as I tending to other areas of my life. Jupiter entering back in my 9H I am aware that this would be a great time for me to catch up on the course and become more dedicated about Astrology. I want to be able to teach to my local community as I found it more than useful but life changing.
Hi Adam, thanks for this content. It's super informative. I have Gemini 7th house and Jupiter's transit through there has always coincided with Jupiter being my time lord for the year.. I only discovered that through this video and going back through the years. In 2000 to 2001, I moved houses, mostly for my son to attend high school. In 2012 I moved to be closer to my parents and started a consulting business. The moves are usually brought about by Jupiter transiting through Taurus and opposing my Scorpio Mars.. Astrology is so fascinating.. I did not buy or sell a house this transit so I'm interested to see what opportunities Jupiter will bring this time.

Jupiter in Gemini '88-89 I was born! Raised by a single mother for a few years
'00-01 - My step dad adopted me 🎉 My biological father was served papers summer '00. Sometime between Nov '00 and May '01 my last name was changed from my mothers maiden name to my step dads last name. Also, I started middle school and had my first "boyfriend" & "date" 🙄 (I remember being too scared to kiss and breaking up with him in a panic) haha
'12-13: Final year working toward my Bachelor's degree. My graduation was May 2013 🎉 I got my first job post college June 2013
I think with each time period the theme has been a shift in identity.
I have Cap rising (and sun) so Gemini is 6th hse. Its tricky to locate a clear pattern historically, but it seems I come out of some sort of crisis, (a move, a relationship) and then spend the Jupiter in Gemini time learning: Moved country then went to primary school as a child (77) Had a realisation about friendship did my final school exams (89). Got burnt out in my career in Social care work, so changed tack and studied to qualify in a new discipline (2000). The year after I separated from my partner I met an discipline/approach to life that I still practise (2013). Jupiter in Gemini for me seems to be a time of deep learning and application of new practices/perspectives. And I feel like I'm doing the same now as I develop my own business - though the crisis wasn't as deep a challenge this time round. I feel I'm finally more aligned and didn't require quite the same shove back onto my soul's track. I also have Saturn at 0 degrees Gemini, which I 'm sure enhances the discipline!
Scorpio Rising, so 8th house Gemini. This one is hard for me to view from 8th house perspective. What I see the events had in common was: 1988-89 I was a young child taken away to a prolonged scoliosis rehabilitation in-patient treatment in a country where I didn't speak the language (away from my parents). So it was a period of all of a sudden adjusting to a very foreign environment, learning the ropes, and just when I started feeling belonging and comfort, to be abruptly taken back home where all of a sudden my mother had a new baby, so the whole set up was different. 2000-2001 I was in high school and I had the opportunity to study abroad in the USA, so it was a year a adjusting to a new language, a very different culture and just when I started getting comfortable and accepted my new reality, I was abruptly removed and sent back to my home country where I was told I no longer could rejoin the same cohort but had to join the classroom of kids a year younger than me, once again readjusting to a whole knew set up. I struggled with how unfair this was. 2012-2013 I started my first full time job upon graduating with my MBA while I was expecting to get pregnant and instead focus on motherhood but pregnancy was delayed and so I had to start working. To me corporate was a very foreign and uncomfortable environment that did not resonate, as I was into health and wellness, yoga, retreats and free-spirited earthy life. For that one year I pushed myself tremendously to fit in to this foreign environment only for it to cause stress induced health issues and I withdrew from this career abruptly as due to prioritizing my health, fertility and aspirations towards motherhood I became a yoga and somatic movement facilitator instead. So, I guess all three times I was for one year in a challenging stressful environment that eventually ended. The were somewhat of a "false start" associated with tremendous sense of displacenent, effort to adapt and learn a new language and culture. I can see it as a Gemini quality or almost like a prolonged Mercury retrograde period, but I am not sure where the 8th house themes are in this. Any ideas?
Actually, I remember in the high-school and post-grad situations there was a greater plan in the works while we had to settle for something in the meanwhile: 1. For 5 years my entire family was in the process of immigrating to the USA but it started looking futile, so we settled for only sending me with hopes that the rest of the family would follow, but it had challenges. Eventually two years later the entire family immigrated for good. 2. The main aspiration was in my marriage to become a mother, but since we had delays I had to seek a job, which I resented and then changed careers altogether, but the original plan to become a mother did not manifest, instead two years later we divorced. In the childhood memory I can't recall a bigger plan in the background during which in a meanwhile I was place in the rehab, unless it was my parents fertility journey of bringing my sister into the world. Hmmm.
Gemini sun in 5th house. Every Jupiter in Gemini period I moved house. This time I don't think I have intentions to move. Should be interesting this coming year.
It's important to let people know that their entire chart matters, so they should consider what happened in 2012-2013 other than the Jupiter transit. For me, Saturn transited to my moon/ASC/uranus conjunction activating my natal moon sq saturn. Pluto transited to my natal mars/mercury conjuction activating my natal mars/merc square natal pluto. Needless to say, it was a horrible period. No such thing is happening this time.
Jupiter hits Gemini in my 10th House. Last time that happened, I packed my bags and moved to LA - The rest is history

My natal Jupiter is in the 8th house, if that means anything.
Each one of those times was a major career change. How weird!!!! Taurus rising/Cap Sun/Virgo Moon. Jupiter, Sun, Mercury conjunct with Saturn 4 degrees away in Cap.
All of these instances were after a period not looking for a job and they were jobs that I had never done before. I am now in a limbo in my career - unemployed, yet not serious looking. I have had offers in the field of my last career, yet I get a knot in my stomach about going back to that job. I just can't do it.
This is very exciting!
BTW, I'm talking about three different cycles. I am in my 60s. In 1977, my family moved to a different state from which I was raised. In 1966, we moved to a town that have my best memories.

It's interesting to note than the Jupiter cycles are very similar to the Chinese zodiac since they both chsnge about every 12 years or so. Some food for thought
In terms of the last Jupiter in Gemini transit in 2012, that was actually a HORRIBLE time of my life, even thought im a Gemini Sun. Had to relocate to my Grandma's house during Hurricane Sandy, was super paranoid about the world ending & filling my mind too much with conspiracies, I distanced myself from all my friends cuz they all gave me anxiety, i struggled with dark thoughts & depression.
I think it's important to keep in mind that that year was a Water Dragon year which is quite different from this year which is a Wood Dragon year, & I'm feeling a far more positive vibe from this current energy. Even though Jupiter will be in detriment, I think we can utilize this energy to embrace more of those little things in our life that give us greater joy. Let ourselves deviate just a little bit from one path & let ourselves explore many different possible paths. Variety is the spice of life, as they say ✨️
Conversely, try not to stick your finger in too many pies lol. Also watch for certain things that go as quickly as they come, or things that may be too good to be true.

Fellow class of 2000!!!! Nice!!! I dropped out three weeks before, but I moved out that May and lived on my own and got fired from my high school job, because my boss knew I would stay forever! I’m a Taurus rising as well.
What happened after that? And in 2012?
I actually cast a “should I start courses this weekend” chart prior to watching this and this reminded me I had this period highlighted a couple years ago as really important. Jupiter is going to be flowing closely with profections for a few years and I’d add that it’s a cancer spirit ZR (some say it activates planets in the house with ruler, so Jupiter) plus Jupiter took over triplicity lord a couple or few years ago. I only looked at cast chart to see if it’s “valid”, it is. I’ll read it before the weekend as I’d stress you want to be as objective as possible looking at your own questions. If I was pessimistic I’d not have remembered to widen orb on moon for example. I use 15 on moon but only focus on within 10.
I had to think about this and didn’t see any patterning until I realized the last time Jupiter was in Gemini, I started purposefully pushing myself to not be so private. Virgo ascendant with Mercury in 12th which also rules 10th/MC. Commenting, for example, is something I despise doing but started to allow it last time Jupiter was in Gemini. I was approached by bankers in New York; offered a job to work on PR to divert occupy protesters into something more constructive like buying t-shirts or another product instead. I often have skepticism towards crypto as it seems like that type of false construction. Instead of actually changing the world, you can just launder their money. Stacked 2nd house, I’d refer to it as the house of mammon as I’m stringy with finance depending on the topic. This could be interesting as Jupiter goes through gemini through Virgo.

Last time Jupiter transited through my 9H, I had my son. The previous cycle through I was like 8 and I don’t remember anything from then. I can track back all the way to the 1977 Transit I was 6 years old at that time. Each of these transits that you have mentioned in the video created the same circumstance in my life. #grabbed Yes: I am also libra rising with that Jupiter Gemini going through the ninth, (I have my Gemini sun and south node there, sun rules my MC).. during the 2012 time I started getting deeper away from just “doing” psychedelic mushrooms but also listening to a lot of Alan Watts, Terence McKenna and going deeper into a spiritual realm and then eventually going vegan and eliminating crap out of my life by taking on this bigger worldview that is absolutely central to me now and I will never go back to how I used to be before that.
During the 2000 time frame, I was living off the grid in the mountains and living just a very almost wild West existence, I was going on a lot of long walks alone with my dog, writing poetry and getting more into Native American writings and worldview. It absolutely changed the way I look at the world now.
Both of those examples did have a turning point for me as Jupiter hit my sun and south node, where with the wild west one I eventually left that paradise mountain and descended back into “hell“ moving back to a city because I felt like I needed to apply the wisdom that I had and integrate with people and creativity. It was like a very Gemini Sagittarius axis. … with the 2012 going deeper into spirituality and veganism, the turning point was leaving behind all of the stuff I thought was a waste of time or folly and getting honed in on a “mission“.

7th house Jupiter in Gemini 2000/2001…I left an abusive marriage in August of 2000 and was in the process of divorce that whole year. I definitely consider that to be huge luck/auspiciousness in my 7th house. I feel curious how I’ll experience it this time being single.
