I am currently in act 3 of my first playthrough and I decided on a palalock Dark Urge who is _desperately_ trying to do the right thing while trying to find out who he really is, and so far I am blown away by the sheer amount of curve balls the story is throwing my way just for that decision. If you haven't tried it yet I _highly_ recommend a _good_ Dark Urge for a second playthrough (if you are up for some brutal and incredibly dark story twists).
The Dark Urge story is just an incredible tale, both if you resist or embrace what it brings onto the table. I highly recommend everyone to try it out!
After finishing act I with my first character (A human Wizard) I got curious about what more was possible. So, I went on a character making spree! The one that seems to be sticking is the Dark Urge Sorcerer, which I hadn't expected at all. I chose the Wild Magic variant to sort of represent the characters lack of control over their innate magical ability for ultimate chaos.

@@edwinvillalobos7159 in my experience it all depends on the choices you make. if you have no issue with just chewing everyone in your way up and spitting em out, its pretty quick to progress. It may not leave a good taste in your mouth tho haha

The tavern brawler homebrew that Larian had made is so ludicrously strong I dont know how it made it through playtesting. It's a half feat that is basically worth 3-4 feats. It's nuts.
I messed around with an evil run as Drow (female) and absolutely loved and was surprised Larian included a certain reaction/conversation option when you got to the Underdark, and encountered a certain male Drow. Not to mention going to the Goblin camp was a blast as Drow. I have a Halfling Bard in a new save, and visiting the grove, the cook (next to Auntie Ethel), if you use the Halfling conversation option, she'll give you two meals (second breakfast I assume lol). When it comes to classes (without multiclassing), while it isn't my favourite, the conversation options for Bard has been amazing so far. Also a tip for Beastmaster Rangers...unsummon your companion when in populated areas. My main character which is nearing the end has been a fairly basic one. Wood Elf CotM Druid.
If you're putting two or more levels into Bard for your main character, you should (almost) always get those levels ASAP. Yes, getting to level 5 is a game-changer for a lot of classes BUT those first two levels of Bard give you Song of Rest and Jack of All Trades. It should go without saying that an extra short rest is invaluable for Warlocks in particular, especially in the early game. Jack of All Trades gives you a bonus to skills you're not proficient in and even a +1 can make all the difference to the outcome of rolls, again, especially in Act 1. Rushing to Warlock 5 before getting Bard 2, means a dip in power for levels 6-7. Warlock 1/Bard 2 means you get Bard spells at the point in the game where they are most powerful. At level 3, Cure Wounds is a significant heal and Sleep can make big fights trivial (it can also be used to resolve/help with some quests), at level 7, though, your party has much better options. Going Bard 2 ASAP means that you get stronger with every level, rather than having a two level plateau at 6-7, and you're going to be spending much more time there than than you are at level 4-5. More importantly than all of that, the very most importantest thing of all important things, is the indisputable fact that Bards make every conversations better.
Monk is my favourite class in 5e Tabletop. *_Baldur's Gate 3 did them so much justice I almost wanna cry!_*_ Could still do with Way of Drunken Monk though._
My first playthrough was a bardlock best class for a completionist playthrough. Missed out on very little content, big recommend for anyone who doesnt have time for multiple plays.
Decades ago when we played 2nd edition AD&D Gith and Tiefling were not playable races but we did anyways. I look forward to digging my old characters out getting them up to 5th ed. We played almost 2 years of Underdark campaigns, so drow too have been my personal favorite.
2e Tieflings were great with the Planeswalkers guide book (I dont remember if actual name). It had charts to roll a random appearance with minor abilities for Tiefling. I never play a Gith back then though. And 2e drow were badass
You'll notice that with the exception of the rogue 4 out of 5 of the top 5 played classes are all Charisma based characters. I mean let's be honest having your main character be the face of the party just makes gameplay easier.
@@ElectricalExistence i think that's what most people would be hoping for but the Curse of Strahd Campaign book is for like lvl 1-10, and Larian doesn't really want to go past level 12 anyway because the PCs get so strong (God Like) that it trivializes most content. And even at Lvl 12 Strahd wouldn't even be that much of challenge, if at all. But I understand where you're coming from.
@@countmarkula1993but what if they rewrite it into their own version loosely inspired by CoS? With scarier enemies? Can always use plot armor on main baddie
second? uh... yes. SECOND playthrough. not that i spent 20+ hours stuck in the character creation screen, studying what each thing does meticulously and never leaving act one because im scared of messing up.
To Palalock: Why not Devil Sight + Darkness spell, then he can stand in the darkness and facetank all that try to get him. All enemys have disadvantage and he have advantage.
Gyth Raging Monk Dark Urge is by far the best combo I've played. I'm always working on my second or third kill before the rest of the group even shows up. Great RP value as I am constantly trying to control my subconscious killer or my rage. The cloak from the dark Urge together with the Gyth 3x jump with catching and tossing arrows is just incredible.
As a drow Bard/wizard/cleric (1 level in the last two so I get some spells and heavy armour) I can confirm bards are stupidly fun, with great dialogue options.
My first play through was with a Githyanki and there’s a lot of cool interactions with the Lae’zel and without spoiling there’s a section on the game there’s a lot of interaction with Githyanki’s and you can really go at it from a different style. P.S. Astral knowledge has saved my skill checks more times than I can count
My first play through was a Cleric Selunite Drow and it has been so much fun to see how all of those choices shaped my playthrough. After this video I am definitely trying out a gith monk next play through.
I started as a pure suport character, was a Benedict bard build. Second character was an Archfey Bardlock Build, both were High elves. The third as a Tiefling Paladin/ Bard. :D
My first play through was a dark urge human bard. Ended up multiclassing my whole group, except shadowheart, at level 4. I took warlock, Wyl went into paladin and Karlach went into warlock. Talk about an incredibly fun play through.
274 hours and never making it to act 2. I kept restarting, trying diff classes and races. Ended up settling for a Drow Sorcerer with a small dip in warlock.
I wasn't going to play the dark urge...until I watched the interview with the lead story writer for the game(side note: their passion is infectious!). If you haven't seen his interview I highly suggest you give it a watch. I went from not wanting to try the dark urge to absolutely planning out my second playthrough as the dark urge. You hear so many people talk about how if you don't like evil playthroughs avoid it. "Or there is some real sick stuff, not everyone can handle this!" However the lead story writers argument for it being simply the most heroic and brave playthrough you can play is so compelling. If you don't want to touch the dark urge or think it's stupid or too grotesque/morally offensive. I beg you 🙏 to watch that interview, it's on CZcams. It completely changed my perspective!
I have this thing where I remort every 10 or 15 hours, try it again, do it different, do it better. It's possible they front loaded a lot of the interactivity, but there is a significant number of differences based on what you try and what succeeds. And the stuff they coded in, just wow. You can kiss the mindflayer. You can make that choice.
Thanks for this! I was kind of hoping to do a quarterstaff build monk, but seems like they are really geared toward unarmed. This answered my question of "which character build would be best for throwing, impromp. weapon, pushing, etc." Also stoked on doing a dark elf for the new dialogue/interactions!
@@italianspartacus Would it be worth going 1 lvl of druid for shillelagh? Or taking the Magic Initiate feat (druid)? Not sure if the quarterstaff buff is worth it at higher levels.
Take my like Sparty! Also, playing dark urge dragonborn warlock (the fiend) with pact of the blade. And I managed to grab the greatsword from the optional boss in the nautiloid ship in the tutorial. :P
Larian has kinda nerfed Greater Invisibility, but realising now that Deep Gnomes have Stone Camouflage (Advantage on Stealth checks), is inspiring me to go Deep Gnome on my next playthrough with a build focused on making Greater Invisibilty work. Maybe even in combination with a Dark Urge run hmmm!
My first character was a Vengence Paladin. Second playthrough is a Dark Urge who is a gloomstalker ranger / assassin rogue. Third playthrough will be a spore druid for sure.
Im in act 3 of my 2nd playthrough, both times being Dark Urge Paladin/Lock, both times Githyanki. It has been an absolute blast, and the pure Charisma Paladin really does demolish both conversation and combat. 2 builds I've been enjoying lately are Abjuration Wizard/Cleric, and Paladin/Sorcerer. Wiz/Cleric is the ultimate party tank, 6 levels as Abj to get projected ward, paired with tempest or war cleric to wear heavy armor, get spells like Glyph of Warding and armor of faith, and you've constantly got a high ward up and multiple ways to shield your party. counterspell is an abj spell as well, so every time you counter an enemy, you're still buffing your ward for ultimate damage removal. Paladin/Sorcerer is a great caster with the potential for huge melee capabilities. My Lae'zel Build is this, it has her casting level 5 smites, while also being able to haste someone and cast 2 quickened fireballs as needed
My first is a dragonborn paladin. It's been awesome. My co op game with my buddy is going to be beast master 8, thief 4. Melee whirlwind. Lots of extra damage from hunters mark, wolf to ensure sneak attack and two weapon fighting to have lots of bonus attacks
I went Drow Ranger as the combination made since to me. So far, so good. Enjoying the game play a lot. Usually I play a half-elf Bard in D&D and for my second run trying to decide between Monk or the Bard.
My first clear was a cleric of war and I beat it. It was amazing… I tried dark urge and being evil and got to act 2 but it wasn’t for me. Now I’m a lockadin Dragonborn who is romancing shadow heart and me and her are on a grand adventure
I basically made a Witcher. 5 fighter, 2 wizard for the alchemy school plus those few Witcher spells burning hands for igni, shield for quen etc. 1 rogue really for medicine proficiency and a little sneak then rest fighter. Using alchemy/potions for augments While also using a few illithid abilities to really get that Mutant/augmented human. Plus dark urge just adds another flavor. Just hit act 3 lvl 10 it’s been super fun.
Thanks for this. I've just started my first play through and already a lvl 3 rogue assassin. Watching this, I think I'll add on ranger for a few levels. :)
Surprised that Gnome is so low. Forest Gnome is my favorite race. You get speak to amimals for free and advantage on saving throws including wisdom saving throws which is most handy
The thing for which I don't like about ensnaring strike is the fact that it takes and action and a bonus action to use it so I generally avoid that one there.
Thats wild, my first playthrough is with a WoFE Monk Red Dragonborn. I basically took my experience from DoS2 and decided... yeah, im going to be standing in fire a lot huh. So now I punch people while standing in fire.... and set them on fire.
Loving my Druid first play through, moon druid is stupidly strong, especially at lvl 10. I run around with 5-6 permanent summons, maybe throw out a buff/control spell then rip enemies to shreds, teleporting and even healing as an elemental.
For anyone that can be in the thick of things.. monk or otherwise, I like having a cleric cast warding bond on them. Sure they 'share' the damage, but the ac and resistances are amazing.
Forest gnome Bardadin here. But with a twist...I'm a DEX Paladin so I can stack DEX, CON, and maxed Charisma. Buff/debuff monster with the ability to do anything in the game world.
My first playthrough was a drow warlock, i basically went through the entire game only using eldritch blast and fireball. Im now playing a durge drow bard, the number of dialogue options i have is hillsrious and they're all completely contradictory in tone. One option is the drow talking about inslavenrnt snd suffering, another is the durge thinking about gore and torture, the next is the bard citing a stupid poem.
im currently doing a durge lolth sworn drow war cleric and really leaning into the evilness and it is so different than my first plathrough (good tiefling bard) its been so fun seeing the other sode of the game
A lot of the content creation going on is focusing on CHA classes, which makes sense as a lot of players want their character to be the "Face" of the party and CHA multiclasses are strong in general. I think there is plenty of space for companion focused builds like the Necromancy or Conjuration wizard, or a Spore druid. Likewise Clerics might be a touch boring on the surface, but the bonuses from having heavy armor, and support spells makes multiclasses like Life/Bard, Trickery/Rogue, Light/Pally, Tempest/Sorc(or wiz), or even War/Pally have enough Support to let you roll into 3 other interesting (or just non-standard) combinations.
There are also some really fun items specific to certain races. Dwarves for instance may obtain a late game item with massive bonuses to thrown weapons, which could be hilarious and absurdly powerful. There is a ton of fun to be had on the less popular races.
Fantastic video. Already planning on a Warlock for my first playthrough, but this gives me some fantastic ideas for the Dark Urge on my second playthrough
Ah, you figured out the wonderful gloomstalker. My gloomstalker does 100 damage in the first round as a dual wielding hand crossbow archer specialist. 60-70 damage per round after that. I have killed numerous bosses in the first round before they even get a chance to attack
When resisting the Urge, and getting into act 3, Withers suddenly takes a whole other dimension to you. Bastard had me crying. Hence I especially appreciated the after credits scene.... The way the game foreshadows everything with such finesse, with one of the first quest being investigating an old Temple of Jerghal....oh boy.... (It was my first whole playthrough, with 2 full EA in July to get my feet wet- one misses so much in the game by not, choosing Dark Urge. That said, that night in camp, after an especially difficult battle at the Last Light- when you then have to battle your urge to save your loved one....jeez was it tense... then the infinite relieve of finally seeing the sun rising, with both of you alive..... such amazing storytelling....) Ps: played a Drow in EA, and now again in my second whole playthrough. Again, birthright doesn't have to mean everything, you can play chaotic good- doubly so as the Dark Urge, and it's just so interesting.
Whilst I haven't finished any of my playthroughs, I've started three with different combinations of friends. So far I have my initially self-hosted session with a Dark Urge origin, Bronze Dragonborn with Storm + Tempest multiclass. The second is a Half-Wood Elf Oath of the Ancients Paladin alongside two buddies that are both druids of different subclasses (Moon and Spores), planning to multiclass into Archfey Warlock or maybe Battle Master Fighter in order to emphasize a "Nature's Guardian" Tank or Gish (Spellblade). The third is a Half-Orc Tempest Cleric, possibly going for a purely mono-class, although I might dabble with Fighter if the last couple of levels of Cleric feel unnecessary. I've been thinking about a solo session I can play when my co-op buddies are unavailable, but I have yet to settle on a class/race combo I want to experience. Edit: I've been considering a Dwarf Monk for another party, and after hearing how interesting/good Four Elements is in BG3, I may just do that. Especially if it is still true that any weapon proficiency you have counts as a monk weapon, could be a lot of fun to swing around a warhammer and still use the bonus unarmed strikes.
Im a hooman beastmaster ranger. But like a crazy collector I am. I will create at least 9 different chromatic dragonborns ( no tail, they arent draconians or kobolds darnit! ) Green ( yellow mixed with blue ), Purple ( blue mixed with red )and Orange ( red mixed with yellow ) are secondary colors sooo I choose Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer so I can have 2 x double dragon ancestry+heritage whammy on resistance/ dmg for different elements if you choose. Also you get UNIQUE scale pattern if dragonborn+draconic bloodline. Choosing Red dragonborn but color him orange since orange true dragons breathe/ spew flammable oily salvia that also combust if trying to wash it off, fire element is closest. Pattern is redish-yellow. For purple I choose blue since lightning is plasma which purple true dragons breathe. Green is simple its a known main true dragon type. They could heritage their poison from a yellows salt spew with a blues electrical discharge. And even, salt poisoning is a thing
I actually plan on playing as every origin character. I feel like that way, i get to experience their classes, races and most importantly their stories. Gonna start with La'zel. I dont really like her, i dont like the githyanki, so she just stays at the camp most of the time. Actually playing as her is going to get me invested in her story
I'm also a drow my first playthrough and I love the look of them. I chose Lolth sworn drow but put one eye normal and the other the signature red of lolth sworn drows as if I'm trying to redeem my past.
My main issue with the Gith, and I admit this is stupid, is every time I see them I can’t help but think of the live action “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” movie. To me they look just like Jim Carey’s character.
My very first playthrough was a halfing bard who became a Sorcerer partway through act 2 and 3. I didn't finish that run though as I messed up the karlach route by missing her most of act 1 and accidentally speeding through act 2. Second run is a improved version of the first but as a deep gnome. Next will be a melee of some sort. Probably drow or dwarf.
Githyanki looks, remind me of gremlins(the movies). Throw green hair, red lipstick and long red fingernails on Lae'zel and Greta(female gremlin) from Gremlins2: The New Batch comes to mind and well.....nope not gonna do it.
Another point for Gith is they can be proficient in all skill by level 7 with multi classing and careful planning. They are the only race that can do this with any straight class. Wood Elf can do this by level 9 and can drop Ranger or knowledge cleric from the build.
Kind of cool that with zero knowledge of lore I went through each class and picked half-elf tempest cleric. Least “popular” class. Means I’m getting an experience that is different than the vast majority right there. My cleric seems super powerful and I’m only level 5. Offensive and support. And even exploring she doesn’t fail checks often. 😊
So my experience with the Gith is they look bad unless you put them in their iconic armor. I have a Gith character that wears Gith armor and he looks like a badass. I actually have two Gith party members too. I respeced the hireling Gith into a sorcerer. Thanks to the Gith in Act 1 I have gith armor for each of us. I plan to use it even after better armors become available as it looks super cool. I also had everyone take medium armor master so we can all sneak still. Not optimal but it is fun.
My second playthrough is gonna be a halfling monk dark urge. My first is a Golden Dwarf Paladin. His interactions with Dreuger have been pretty interesting. He might be lawful good for the most part, but racial biases are very much in play at times.
My second playthrough was as a Brass DragonBorn monk, a recreation of my boyfriend's character from our tabletop campaign. Would have been perfect if one of the voices had an Irish accent.
I replayed the game after I finished act 2 because I completely missed the underdark, halsins quest, and lost asterion by accident, I am now finally back to act 3 and it is much more satisfying having done all that
They get psionic jump, medium armor, and greatswords. You can start as a wizard, take lae'zels armor and use the flaming greatsword day 1. Also tons of unique dialog and story options.
On my 2nd run 120hrs to finish my first. Going Druid dark urge already a fun twist to the story 😂 had an OH F… moment in act 1 excited for the story of dark urge.
Gloomstalker rogue is so good, my astorian is that build in my dark urge play through and with 2 fighter right at the end, I burst bosses to about half to a quarter
If I'm not mistaken monks uses theirs WIS modifier for spells calculation. And the Open Hand way monk also have an ability to refresh Ki points at level 6+ and it's even better than Four Elements way has. :) For the Open Hand way I decided the best stats as 14 20 12 8 16 10 at level 12 with 2x Improve Stats feats and Tavern Brawler (without any items improving your stats) - that's the best balance between durability and bonus attack & damage for your unarmed strikes. And, at any moment, if you need an extra unarmed attack or damage, you can always use some STR elixyrs and became an armoured extremely mobile crushing and smashing Hulk.
I'm at the beginning of Act 3 playing my Drow Ranger (Gloom) Assassin 5/5. I'm taking a break until I get my new PC (played so far on a Geforce 1050 Ti). Using twin hand crossbows with Sharpshooter makes for a good character in combat alongside being the party's thief. When I restart I might play one of these Paladins everyone seems so keen on.
already have my next two characters planned. second playthrough is going to be an evil dark urge half drow oathbreaker and my multiplayer character with my friends is gonna be either be an evil gith or a duergar bard/ monk
I think Paladin, sorc, warlock are the most popular because they scale off charisma bonus which also is beneficial for all dialogue checks in the game.
That's why my first character was a bard that spec'ed into almost every conversation skill. I mostly play these games to be a talker.
Paladins and Sorcerers also bring a lot of combat power to the mix.
Even so, paladin’s are massively above the rest, I think a lot of people really like the spellsword play style and versatility of paladin, while the oaths aspect is really interesting, especially for custom characters in giving them extra depth and personality that they otherwise wouldn’t have

I was curious about trying a Monk playthrough before but you, sir, have completely sold me on it. Well done!
I just started act 2....I have been playing every single day since launch...this game is insane!
I can't get enough of BG3. My dream is for them to make a separate Curse of Strahd Campaign (lvl 1-12).
They could do an expansion that picks up from your sace files unique ending and continues that storyline.
To Palalock:
Why not Devil Sight + Darkness spell, then he can stand in the darkness and facetank all that try to get him.
Regarding race reactions you can get a lot of them by using Diguise Self.
Or realizing that weird helmet you have been lugging around for 40 real life hours is actually a free race changing device 😂
@@JamesMadisonsSpiritAnimal ey dont be calling shanes helmet weird, dont you know how many faces he needs to rip off just to make that helmet.
Thanks for the great content! A pure Drow Sorceress was my 1st play through. Loved it. Going for a Gloomstalker Ranger/ Thief Assassin for my 2nd.
Haven’t played yet but drow thief-bard seems so fun, probably will be my first run
I chose sorc for my first playthrough, and now I’m doing warlock. Charisma is VERY high on my list of needs in BG3. I want to have my way 😂
Hell yeah!
My first play through was a Cleric Selunite Drow and it has been so much fun to see how all of those choices shaped my playthrough. After this video I am definitely trying out a gith monk next play through.
Which domain did you choose?
Wyll always has a spot on my team because all you have to do is get to level 5 to get hunger of hadar literally one of the best crowd control spell
I believe the medical term is, "dumpstering fools"
Actually you can get away with a quarterstaff since it counts as a monk weapon! Most of the unarmed monk things refer to both unarmed AND monk weapons
@@italianspartacus Would it be worth going 1 lvl of druid for shillelagh? Or taking the Magic Initiate feat (druid)? Not sure if the quarterstaff buff is worth it at higher levels.
I'm not 100% sure on the best approach here - I'd prob opt for the feat over the level? The cantrips will scale every set of levels :)
Ya greater invisis literally pointless, that surprised me.
I’m surprised Druid and monk are so low! Dark elf/Drow is always my choice in RPGS, they’re just so cool looking.
My second playthrough right now is an Elven Bard on Strategist difficulty and it's been a blast so far!
I chose druid for my first playthrough, and it is a blast, has has a lot of utility.
Love the way you format your videos! Thank you.
You are so welcome!
I did urge resistance, while soft resting all the dark urge choices immediately, I wanna go further down those dark paths and see where they lead now.
My 1st was Halfling Bard. Really love it.
Planning on Dark Urge, Tiefling(Half Devil?), Warlock(Spell from the fiend) kinda feel evil. 😂
Drow monk is my first playthrough and makes for an interesting mix of dialogue options.
Drow bard here. So much fun
im currently doing a durge lolth sworn drow war cleric and really leaning into the evilness and it is so different than my first plathrough (good tiefling bard) its been so fun seeing the other sode of the game
I wonder if there are magic items that will significantly buff charisma like their are for intelligence?
I played a Githyanki druid, with a charisma of 8 but wisdom through the roof! It was amazing. I adore this damn game.
That said, that night in camp, after an especially difficult battle at the Last Light- when you then have to battle your urge to save your loved one....jeez was it tense... then the infinite relieve of finally seeing the sun rising, with both of you alive..... such amazing storytelling....)
Ps: played a Drow in EA, and now again in my second whole playthrough.
If you start with fighter for 1-2 levels and sub into wizard you can still cast spells with heavy armor
Thanks for giving the monk a shout-out. I have so much fun with this class.
Been playing since early access on PS5 and I’ve already clocked 40+ hours I love it
My main issue with the Gith, and I admit this is stupid, is every time I see them I can’t help but think of the live action “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” movie. To me they look just like Jim Carey’s character.
Just wanted to say, even as someone seeing this who has finished the game, I respect your commitment to not spoiling the experience.
"This guy just looks like he wants to buy crack rocks..."
Hilarious. Actually spat my coffee out.
He might be lawful good for the most part, but racial biases are very much in play at times.
.
Im a drow beast master / ranger / rogue. No complaints. The race and class complete eachother
My second playthrough was as a Brass DragonBorn monk, a recreation of my boyfriend's character from our tabletop campaign. Would have been perfect if one of the voices had an Irish accent.
I replayed the game after I finished act 2 because I completely missed the underdark, halsins quest, and lost asterion by accident, I am now finally back to act 3 and it is much more satisfying having done all that
Gith is actually great, you can make some ungross feminine characters plus they get a free misty step at lv5
They get psionic jump, medium armor, and greatswords. You can start as a wizard, take lae'zels armor and use the flaming greatsword day 1. Also tons of unique dialog and story options.
The male characters just look so scrawny! They look like they'd break an arm or leg in a sneezing fit!
Just about to finish my first run and I’m definitely thinking I’m gonna go dark urge next run and just gonna steer straight into the dark evil path.
that's funny. I must be playing wrong lol. My favorite classes are Monk, Druid, and Ranger. Pretty much the classes no one else likes.
If I'm not mistaken monks uses theirs WIS modifier for spells calculation. And the Open Hand way monk also have an ability to refresh Ki points at level 6+ and it's even better than Four Elements way has. :)
For the Open Hand way I decided the best stats as 14 20 12 8 16 10 at level 12 with 2x Improve Stats feats and Tavern Brawler (without any items improving your stats) - that's the best balance between durability and bonus attack & damage for your unarmed strikes.
My cabbages! I lucked into that reference. Absolutely hilarious.
