Dylan (Justin Timberlake) is done with relationships. Jamie (Mila Kunis) decides to stop buying into the Hollywood clichés of true love. When the two become friends they decide to try something new and take advantage of their mutual attraction - but without any emotional attachment. Physical pleasure without the entanglements. Sounds easy enough for two logical adults, right? Not so much. They soon realize romantic comedy stereotypes might exist for a reason.

I love that when he sees his dad sitting without pants, he takes a minute and decides not be embarrassed or try and fix it but to just drop trou and eat with his Dad. I also love that his dad joked with him about being forgetful. Sometimes, all you can do is laugh and make the most of it.

I lost my father a month ago. Cherish those in your life before they are gone.

I lost my dad 6 months ago on New Year's Eve. It was hard.

The writing in this movie is so good imo. Dylan mentions so often how much he hates the look of pity in people’s eyes, and when he realizes he has the opportunity to prevent seeing that look he acts on it immediately. I think that gives a really nice example of the determination he’s gonna need to get Jamie back.

This scene makes me a little teary eyed, the same way Robert Redford did in Indecent Proposal, when he talked about never getting over the beautiful girl with the incredible smile, on the subway train. 😢

Nah, it’s okay to let them go and move on. I did. I’m so blessed I did because it lead to my blessing - my husband Frank.

Been there before…and I miss her..

This hits very close to home. I spoke to this girl I met online. I've been there for over a year so most girls are the same. But she and I were absolutely perfect and our upbringing was nigh identical. Our conversations were very passionate. I never felt this for anyone ever, not even my former partner of 7 years.
But for some reason we stopped talking and I just let her go no questions asked. I've thought about her every single day since...
Seeing this video, it's been two weeks since that happened. It gives me hope that it's not too late. The dad is right, if I even THINK there's a chance she's the one, I have to to give it my all! I HAVE to fix it!
Sure there's a strong chance it doesn't work. But at least I will have tried and won't have to live my life thinking "what if".
    Wish me luck Internet strangers.

He’s wrong. In real life - Life is too short to waste time on someone you have intentions to marry. You can’t always fix it. It’s okay to let go of someone and move on. 😊 Find someone else or enjoy being free.
