I think just using electrical Tape wrapped around the Neutral for ground wire and isolated . It should be Okay

Welp tried this on my old old dryer and when I turned it on I heard crackling and the back of the dryer drum looks a bit melted. Followed this video plus a ton of others that is the same. No idea what happened. should've known better than to DIY W/ electricity. Excellent video though, super detailed!!

Hey! Thanks for your great videos. I have an unrelated question. It’s about lg WM4500hba. It was just delivered brand new as a replacement for the same model that had a dent. Whenever it feels with water after shutting off the valve, it makes a metal on metal noise. It comes from inside the washer. Also the dd motor is noisier than the previous one. Do you think this is the minor issue or should I call the store and ask them to replace it? Thanks

I doubt you're interested, but I have old 1980s Speed Queen top-load washing machine that I tried to repair but stopped working on because lots of rust in the bottom of the tub preventing me and my friend from refurbishing it with little to no tools that we have. I think it would be a good opportunity for a CZcams video trying to see if it could be repaired, I live in Orrville Ohio if you're interested.

    Isn’t this extremely dangerous?

Using the adaptor is extremely dangerous. Replacing the chord is the safest way.

What’s extremely dangerous is plugging your chord into the all outlet without first connecting your terminals and with the power on so you can check to see if your 4 prong actually fits…like me…quite a shocking experience to say the least.
