Lilblue Scooby we definitely see where you’re coming from but, the journey on this car hasn’t been the easiest. If anything Diego and his car have been through some major setbacks throughout the process. We’re gonna push him to finish it, enjoy it, and if he decides to sell it, we’ll support that.
Diego is a smart kid, that last few mins was insightful. At least if someone purchases this car, they will know that it has been taken care of. Im looking to buy a rexxy at the end of this year, I hope the guy I buy it off puts as much care into the car as these guys do. 👍
These cars are a modern classic and are currently very low in market value selling it now is a financial mistake as their value will eventually skyrocket. Especially considering it is the first model WRX to come to the U.S. I just bought a stock 03 for 3700 only one owner not abused with 140k miles. I will never sell it
@@wekendigit7308 I got very lucky. I bought mine private party for 3700 with 140k miles and in pretty decent condition. The key is buying private party but that is very hard to find. If you buy from a dealer expect to pay 7k or more no matter how many miles. I live in Wisconsin USA for reference

You need to do what you gotta do, but!! One of my biggest regrets was getting rid of my first Tuner... Life went on and I'm blessed to have multiple vehicles now (including 2 Tuners, a DD truck, and a bike). I always think about how my first Tuner is not currently part of my little fleet, and what I could have done differently to have kept it... Sure I have sold other cars over the years, and I can buy that type of car again, but it won't be the same (the memories)... Only sell it, if you're absolutely sure that you're done with it.

Can’t criticize diego for selling it, unfortunately its the right car but not the right time. Just sucks to see it go, was definitely my favorite color combo (gold and brown goes so well together)

The way i see it, is you have a place to store it and you have a daily. So there's no rush to really complete it. Unless you're just bored of it and want somerhing else, i wouldn't personally wouldnt spend anymore money on it if you where to sell it. That's just me though.
DONT SELL!!! I had to make the same choice between selling or keeping my 03 bug and I chose to sell it. Big regret. I felt like I wasn’t progressing in my build because I put money into it but it wasn’t changing cosmetically and that’s what discouraged me but now I see it as a mistake. Just be 100% sure of your decision! Love the videos:)
As far as the flares go I’d go wide body instead maybe do a coupe conversion as for as you selling the car if you think it’s right then sell it always better cars better things out there peace
