Heeey Mike! Thank you for sharing your experience!!! I just spent my last dime to finally buy a digital printer that had clogged printhead Bc Mimaki replaced them under the end of the warrant. I've had this CVJ 150-75 for about a year and it's been running great! I think there was a power surge about 2 months ago that messed it up and I'm devastated bc tech support is astronomical and I'm looking at a $4000 estimate in hopes that my brand new print heads are not fried too or dried up now even though I put soulution in the capping station!!! Any change you could give me some advice of where to start? I am in the process of getting another printer that the printheads are shot on to pull parts from. I have the back off the machine and boards exposed. There are light on the 2 boards in the back behind the carriage, one is a bigger board on the right and on the left is a smaller board. Fan doesn't come on when power is turned on but lights on boards do. I would greatly appreciate any help and advice :) -Kimber
Hi Mike, thanks for the great video. I just had the printhead changed on the cjv150-160. After rrplacing, the printer is asking for is asking for ink type (SS21) and then is asking to remove the ink cartridges to discharge the ink and the fill up again. I did it once and then it asks to do it again. Seems like its in a loop to discharge and fill up. Any idea what could be going on? The head was replaced with a genuine mimakiband using SS21.
I took down as glue is expensive and didn't want to be reaponsible for people losing money. Text me, I'll gladly give you all the info and guidance 217-413-2532
Sorry bro, was at tradeshow all last week. Unfortunately don't know of any deals on the dx7 they are high priced. If were in USA could sell you one from my stock a little cheaper
Followed all the steps but when i do the test print nothing comes out 😭 everything else was fine. Ink lines filled fine, no error codes, new dampers. Any advice
Any videos that would show a way to get to this point cleanly, so I could get a full break down of start to finish. Thanks for the vid

See this was a week ago and I was on vacation for the holiday. Did you ever get resolved?
@@reprint217 not yet. Any suggestions? I'm guessing a setting in the maintenance mode changed for it to be asking for ink type, discharge and fill-up.

Bro I need a new printhead am based in London and can not afford a new one at £1600 pound. I dont mind using a refurb one any advice, please dude?

After ink fill up i can see ink in the capping station so i don’t think the head is clogged
Probably fuse on mainboard blown
