Now that monster was just bored. It eating that whale was like Shaquille O'Neal eating a tic tac lol. It would need to swallow humpback whales like humpback whales swallow plankton. Absolutely wonderful piece!

I have what might be a dumb question, but I've never used a 3D printer.
After you break off all that excess plastic from the finished print, can that scrap be melted down and re-used, or is it just wasted?

There are some plastics that can be reused depending on the method of printing, in this case however, no

Like the foam, rarely you can reuse the small scraps. If I would do that i would try to use rocks and wood found around, I found a mountain with a soft rock vein full of small quartz and calcite crystals, it would be neat for that, also it's soft but not crumby. You have to carry that though. It's soft enough you can work it with soft steel tools, even a bad screwdriver, hand scraping or chiseling and close to it there are small pyrite clusters in a blue/purple rock vein. I gave some pieces to a friend that wanted to make the platforms for warhammer 40k.
