    I’m looking forward to the new playoff format with 12 teams and seeing Notre Dame go to playoff games at SEC schools that they normally don’t play, or those SEC schools coming to a playoff game in South Bend.

    You need to do your homework. ND has so much young talent. Starting about 2025-26, the way they've been recruiting the last 3 years, Notre Dame will be a very formiddable playoff opponent and NC contender.

    I like your show brother but I don’t see 3 losses on this schedule unless injuries happen at QB, WR and or OL. If they stay healthy 2 losses max. I can see 11-0 going into USC as well. The defense might just be better than last year.

      They're all saying 3 losses.. It's because they have so little real grasp of what this Irish program has built itself into through Freeman's recruiting and recent coaching hires. Hint: 3 losses is the safe bet from their perspective, because that's been the standard(so far) in this new, Freeman Era at ND. The Irish should be a legitimate top 5 team in 24', gotta start strong and win in College Station. That game pretty much determines success or failure this upcoming season, so it will be very similar to the 2018 season in that regard. Elko is an excellent coach, who has done a lot with much less talent in the past.. In Mike Denbrock We Trust.

      Mitchell and Cam will both be instant stars at the field receiver position. I hope Denbrock can move the receivers around a bit this upcoming season-Mitchell, Cam and Faison on the field at the same time gives the Irish 3 fast athletes at the position who can all gain separation. Add Mitchell Evans/Raridon at TE and J. Love/J. Price/A. Williams as receivers out of the backfield and Denbrock has tons of options at his disposal in 24'. The rest of the country will be shocked by what they see at times by this offense and I can't wait. The 23' season was an exercise in frustration as an Irish fan, with the championship level defense and knowing the talent level on offense/that G. Parker just wasn't't it and never would be.. 🤦🏽‍♂️

    I’m sorry I don’t really like being harsh but this take on ND is pretty rough. Especially, when you consider the loss of WR and TE….ND has obviously upgraded there. QB room…upgrade. Skill on defense…upgrade. Kicker…upgrade. Coaching staff…upgrade. It’s hard to find a place on that roster that isn’t poised to be top tier.

  • @willcosper1696

    Notre Dame should be very good on defense and physical enough on offense to win at least 10 games. Very manageable schedule if they can stay focused

  • @ndcoltsfan
    @ndcoltsfan Před 5 měsíci +6

    Chris Tyree, Holden Staes, Marist and Rico may seem like big losses, but do not agree they make or break this program whatsoever. Joe Alt is the biggest loss and I would say Hart at CB is a bigger loss than anyone else than Alt. Blake is… TBD. Thought he should’ve stayed another year. ND gained more than they lost this off season.

    2022 nd was ranked number 5 headed into the season with high expectations for buchner and all those guys. Played a solid game on the road at osu but took a loss. everyone, including me, said "we played great, we can make the playoffs just gotta...uh...win the next 11...". Freeman was playing from behind and proceeded to lose to marshall and stanford. I believe that the game against a&m is the same way. If we win...well, I think well go 12-0. If we lose? We might miss the playoffs. That game will set the tone for the whole season.

  • @dallasmorrow21
    @dallasmorrow21 Před 5 měsíci +1

    Simple trends would tell you ND is poised to go AT LEAST 10-2. 8-4 in 2022, 9-3 in 2023… Factor in a more favorable schedule, a more experienced HC, upgrades in the coaching staff, transfer portal additions, returning production on defense, a proven RB room, multiple top 10 recruiting classes over the last 3 years. The ball is in their court. If they lose 3 games, it is not because they were supposed to. In fact, they will likely be favored in every game they plan except MAYBE @ A&M (I’d still lean a slight favor to ND once game time rolls around)

  • @rocket2579
    @rocket2579 Před 5 měsíci +2

    If they win the opener, look out. The FSU game on Nov 9th will loom large. I don't see them losing to Louisville again, and if they go in to the Southern Cal game 11-0, they will run the table.

    • @danielschwenkler5433
      @danielschwenkler5433 Před 5 měsíci

      im not saying i disagree with you. I agree very much that if we win against a&m then we could probably end up going 12-0. However, I disagree with the part about Louisville. I do think we should win, but the cardinals are one of the tougher opponents, they've recruited well and gotten good transfers. I think tyler shough will be the same level as jack plummer, and they also have a scary nose tackle as a grad transfer from Harvard. It will be an amazing atmosphere and a great game for the Irish to get revenge in south bend.

    I think they have the talent now the coaching staff now and the buy in from the administration now but I think a key ingredient for ND or any national championship team team is player led accountability and leadership culture. If ND shows up and plays their best football every week they should be able to win every game on this schedule. I do think there are some sneaky teams like Louisville last year GT and Virginia

    The transfers in are far, far, better than what they lost.
    Just being real, as far as how the broad majority of ND fans feel…If they don’t make the playoff in 2024, it’ll be an abject disaster. They are better (on paper, I know that doesn’t mean much sometimes) than every team on their schedule, maybe save A&M. With an expanded playoff, a softer then usual schedule, ND fans absolutely expect 10-2 AT WORST, and they need to make the playoff. MF has recruited well. They have tons of speed and depth. Going 9-3 again would be a major disappointment. Quite frankly, I don’t know how any honest prognosticator sees 3 losses on this schedule.
