Wow, amazing!!! Love that scanning thing it did- it looked cool!!! Thanks for the video, Ben!!!
Have only begun to learn about laser etching metal. What you present here is new to me. Thank you.
Finally a detailed review of engraving metal. Thank you so much!
Glad you found it useful. I struggled to find anything when I was starting to look into lasers. cheers Ben
That’s so awesome. I love fiber lasers! Very nice work, thanks for your video.
Very cool. I just ordered my first fiber laser for my knives. Thanks for the great video.
Nice Ben! I can see the benefits of having one of those 👍🏻
Yep, that is totally right! And do u wanna one ?
real nice upgrade Ben, I like it.
Davy
Awesome bit of kit, gave me that Dentists drill or Blackboard fingernail feeling when it first kicked off !!
That fibre laser looks awesome 😎
Axes, knives the worlds your oyster 👍🏻
nice one chief, enjoyed it
Thank you for sharing this .
No problem Lucas it’s such a great machine and very happy with everything including such super customer service.
Green scotch on your 2x72 works great also, and your final cleanup pass could be toned down, either way looks GREAT
I like it .That’s pretty cool.
Ben orford . One word dang. 😄🦊🐾🇬🇧
LOVE IT
Very attractive work
I'm looking for One to cut up 7 1/4 old Saw blades to make small tools. will this cut them?
Amazing work. Can I ask what extractor/workflow you use for harmful fumes? Would be a great video idea. Cannot find a lot online which is surprising...
Nice vid! Which type of goggles do you use or 20W fiber laser?
greetings! How did you do the various passes, so first pass deep cut, then second pass lighter hatching etc?
I've just bought JPT 50w fibre with ezcad3 but I cant see how to do multi-passes with different parameters. help!
F All, I need to stop watching your videos... my first vid, I bought a bandsaw blade... now Im ordering a 50W Fiber laser! My wife isnt a fan, but I am!! Liked/subscribed.
Hey great stuff you won’t regret it. It’s a fantastic bit of kit and I have only just scratched the surface.
Glad your enjoying the videos cheers Ben
@@BenOrford eh , I am in the same situation. Wife does not know. yet. :P So, this is the 50W model? Also is it the mopa laser?
@@csabalazar8937 mine is a 50watt fibre but not a Mopa if you want to have a wider range of colours on stainless Mopa is the way to go but they are a lot more money.
So far I am super happy with my 50 watt 👍
@@BenOrford seems very strong yeah! what about chemical coloring? Just found this: www.heveslaserengravinginks.com/
The results look really good, I can imagine that future plans will perhaps include making a protective cover with a small door for the machine to avoid everyone in the room having to wear goggles? The use of a mag chuck for hand sanding is an interesting choice, what is the thin blue film that you are using between you blade and the chuck surface?
填充后还能把里面磨亮?不明白,除非只跑边没填
NICE POST!!! On those fiber lasers, can you turn the head so it faces upward so as to etch the underside of a metal table or steel cabinet shelf? No one's posted a vid about this and I'd like to see it 🍺🤔👍
yes turn head is ok to working
Hi Ben. Great video. Weirdly, I started looking at buying a fibre laser just yesterday, and stumbled on your video by chance. I'm curious that you don't use either of your lasers to cut out profiles. Is that because they aren't quite powerful enough?
Sure both lasers aren’t the kind you can cut steel with really. Only very thin metal could be cut with the fibre.
I have machines that can cutting the 20MM stainless steel !
I'm brand new to laser engraving and just picked up a 40w CNC Fiber Laser myself. Using factory settings I can engrave any of those black laser cards for sale on Amazon fine but on any other metals - nearly nothing! What could I be doing wrong? I've looked for a depth setting in EzCad which it came with and didn't find anything, I tried all different random MhZ and power settings and still no change. I can see a very slight marking if I set it to loop 10x for instance (obviously that's not 5 minutes of etching, more like 20 seconds) but not much beyond that yet the manufacturer shows it cutting deep into firearm slides and such. Of course out of China I'm getting no support so just wondered if any of you experienced engravers might know what I'm doing wrong?
Hey no problem I had the same issue when I first got mine. Best thing is drop me a email and I can send some pictures of the settings you need to change to get it to cut deep.

I am sure we can make it work for you.
cheers Ben
@@BenOrford Bro, you're awesome. I'm emailing you now.
@@BenOrford I will email you too
Best video I've seen of a fiber laser in action, most people only show a light etch. What's the make and model of the laser please?
Glad you enjoyed it. The great thing is you can do a super light pass or deep like this with just changing the settings.
This is a 50watt machine. I’ll see if I can send a link to the machine 👍 many thanks cheers Ben
@@BenOrford Sorry for the late reply - the link to the machine would be great - thank you again!
Hi did you buy the unit from a UK distributor , also can it dow text etc on cylindrical items thanks
instagram.com/jwlaser_lucas/
whats the wattage of the laser?
50w
Awesome video. Looking at buying my first laser for firearms engraving. Do you have a link to the unit you have?
Why don't you google fiber laser engraving fans group? You will see a bunch of brands there.
Do u got the fiber laser machine you want?
Maybe I can give you a little convenience.
I'm assuming you want more heavy duty
Nice 👍! How many Watts is the fiber laser 30 or 50?
I went for a 50watt so I would have plenty of power 👍
Do you run it 100% for your logos? We are looking at picking one up for the blade blanks we manufacture.
if you want mopa black color tray this configuration :
count loop...1
speed...20
power....50
frecuency....50
hatch 1 color black mark
What power is your laser? 20W 30W or 50W?
Great
What is the brand, watts, and how much did you pay?

bro he doesn't have a single dislike thats insane!
It’s ok I just fixed that🤣
That’s a 1060nm wavelength right? What kinda goggles are you wearing?
What kind of goggles do you wanna? I have different kinds goggles !!
Hi Ben!
Great video :)
Sorry if you said..... but what wattage is your Fiber Laser?
All the best
I'm curious too! Is it a 20W? And where'd you get it from?
50 w @Kati Franczeska
You understand quality fiber laser artwork. It has a nice clean crisp artwork without any skipping lines of artifacts. There is this other CZcamsr, I tell him his fiber artwork is not professional because it has lines and artifacts skipping onto the artwork and gets angry 😂.
👍
How much is the machine ?
What galvo head model do you have?
this one is sinogalvo brand
What’s the name of your machine where I can get one
Hi sir ,I am lucas this machine from us this is our instagrm links :instagram.com/jwlaser_lucas/
which fiber laser is that please????
hi this is from us instagram.com/jwlaser_lucas/
Price
Just sent you an email, hoping you can help with some specific settings for achieving what you did here. Thanks!
Try to use my setting is 300 speed and 70 power .
For the deep, you can repeat marking as you want 2-4 times or more.
Stated off with epilog C02 laser, absolute dog. After warranty expired mother board blew up, $1800 aus. 15 months later mother board blew up. changed to Troterch an not one issue after 11 years. you really do get what you pay for
Well my co2 tube failed on my Epilog laser within the first 10 months but had it replaced under warranty
Fingers crossed that’s it.
Thanks for your feed back.
cheers Ben.
If you are in the US, and engrave parts the ATF considers the firearm, you have to have FFL for gunsmith, if the firearm stays with you overnight.
Just a friendly warning to those who do these services.
Generally only slides are engraved. But I would suggest only taking the part needing engraving in to avoid dealing with ffl or at f issues. Same with cerakoting. I only take the accessories in to my tech guy.
