Now this is again a great choice, all those non Conan, Kull, Bran Mak Morn and Solomon Kane stories are really something else.... Such a shame he killed himself while he was so young. Hope you do much more of his solitary stories....Thank you Ian....!
Was it robert Bloch that took his life at a young age?
Excellent. Very good. Thank you Mr Gordon and Horror Babble. Until next time.
R. E. H.-RIP
Tragic life. Born way too late.
Not truly appreciated til after death(suicide)
Re-incarnate back into your proper life.
Mitra protect u!
It's raining where I am and this story fit perfectly. Thank you for another lovely reading :)
Great story and narration. I love it!
Thanks!
More Robert E Howard please!
Truly a gem in these Neddy times! Thank you very much!!
Damn right! Sod Corona virus I’m going to terrify myself properly 😀
Makes being at work almost worth it!
Cheers!
Lylip Canool is the greatest name ever!
A very good tale of curse. Enjoyed it immensely. Got in a little late on the story tonight, but wouldn't have missed it. Loved the tone of the narration.
Good reading, thanx Ian!
Perfect for my evening routine!
ROBERT E. HOWARD RULES FOREVER!
By Crom God of the Mountains.
Robert E. Howard museum in Brownwood, Texas.
Too bad the series was not continued.
@@rolandomartinez9076 right, dino de laurentiis really screwed that up with Conan the destroyer 😄😄
As much as I loved Conan, that movie was embarrassing.
Supposed to have been three total but liability issues forced shutdown. I guess "Ahnold" really thought he was Conan. People got hurt.
@@rolandomartinez9076 John Milius did a perfect job of making the first Conan, greatest movie ever made imo. I saw an interview with Oliver Stone who had the film rights back in the 70's but never got it going. He was talking about making a movie from each story which would have been the most epic series ever
By the hilt, he writes about his hero getting some pu##y every so often, which is not a thing Lovecraft protagonists even think of.
That is the best curse I've ever heard. I want to memorize and recite it like a poem. In the theatre of my imagination, it is snarled out by a rather vicious Carol Kane.
Excellent video! ☺
excellent reading, not one of my favorite stories but worth listening to none the less.
Sea curses are tight!!
A fun tale (masterfully read of course) although I couldn’t help but think of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride from Disneyland while listening...
Was thinking the same thing
Yo ho, yo ho
I am reminded of Willem Dafoe's curse from the Lighthouse
Good reading. Pretty tame compared to the rest of the Howard readings you have on here though. Thanks for giving me something to relax and listen to on my lunch break!
Anyone else enjoy the doomed Mariner tales with a some what of a history or an affiliation with the waters coursing through their minds?
The font on my phone made it look like "Sex Curse" but I'm still down now that I know, now to find part one...
oh cool, already listened and loved it!
Where do you get the wired tales stories from do you have access to the original collection ?
Check out the Pulp Magazine Archive over at archive.org.
Scary-as-shit cool!🙂🖤💀☠👻🧛♂️⚰🦇🕷🕸
Wonder if this helped inspire the Pirates ov the Caribbean at all
Excellent reading of a so-so story, always thought this was mediocre and one of Howard's early stories.
🎉🎉🥳
👍
