    Great videos. Going to submitting soon and have some questions. I see you have some autos along with the regular cards in same submission. Is there a special way to fill out the submission form to have both autographed and regular cards in same bulk submission? Also, with the estimated max values, what do they do when you have a card in bulk submission and it's worth more than the max $99? Thanks for the great vids man!

    • @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR
      @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR  Před 4 lety +5

      If the card was authenticated by the card manufacturers then you don’t have anything to worry about, PSA treats them the same way as a non auto. If you want the autographed graded then u have to submit it under the autograph grade service level. With max values, I would just submit all cards in bulk service and not worry about the max value. If psa has an issue with the value you put then they will contact you to pay more which has yet to ever happen to me. So you should be good to go with submitting all your cards in bulk submission. Unless of course it’s a 1952 Topps MICKEY Mantle lol. Thanks for the feedback! Good luck with the sub!

(this isn't what i actually want to send, just an example). is that possible? or must the cards all be the same size regardless of sport/genre? sorry if you've answered this question before, and i have gone on PSA's website, but i literally just started gaining info, so please have mercy! :)

    Great video Matt... I'm just so tired of PSA and all their little rules and quirks... if they want all this work done just getting a card ready for submission why don't they just let us grade our own cards and all they have to do is slab it! I would hate to have them do any extra work😉... PSA says if you do all this there will be a quicker turn around (yea right! ) with less errors (PLEASE!) ... With the overall high price they charge and the ridiculous time you must wait for your cards to be returned there should be ZERO ass kissing involved on our part!! How about PSA hire more people so they can keep up with the demand & we can get our submissions back in a timely fashion!! I'm all for being courteous, but their expectations of us is way more then the courtesy we receive from them!!
    PS: it's a complete joke marking your box with turn around time!! (Even though they require you to do so)
    2 day turn around should definitely not be 4 weeks!!
    MAYBE try marking your box with "PWCC and see if your cards Get treated differently, (better grades/ quicker turn around) - Hey it's worth a shot!!🤤

    Quick question, let's say I have 75 cards for submission. I'm assuming I would list them as a bulk (50 card minimum submission) and it would cost me $750.00 to have them graded? Am I understanding that correctly?

    • @RichardRennes
      @RichardRennes Před 4 lety

      It appears so, plus, you would need to be a Silver level(I think that was $50), and pay for shipping cards there, AND back. So $750 + $50 + shipping there and back. So $850`ish for 75 cards? But if you had 75 cards at $10 a card, you would be better off getting 100 at $8 a card, so an extra 50 cards would only cost you an extra $50, a buck a card for the extra 50 cards.

      Nope, max declared value only effects the submission level cost. So if it's above $99 then you're not supposed to use the bulk service which generally most guys use the bulk service for cards valued up to around $500 ish. Any further and PSA might contact to pay more money for insurance. The only thing that effects the cost of shipping is how many cards your submitting.

      Yep, when you sign up and pay for a silver or platinum membership you get vouchers with your purchase. I went ahead and shipped the vouchers with the bulk order. They are on separate orders, you do not want to use the vouchers with your bulk order. I believe they must be separate orders. PSA will ship them back to you much sooner than your bulk submission. Which you do have to pay the shipping on.

    Matt,GREAT VIDEO!! Because of cost, I'm not sure how to determine if I should get a card GRADED. I have a collection of T206 most in very good shape with good corners, etc. It was given to me in 1975 by my grandfather. I absolutely don't know how to judge the value. Maybe all 53 cards should be placed in the holders?? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I've sold aJennings and Keeler and others on ebay for $40+ without being graded.

The card savers one are thicker but shorter and I noticed that everyone uses card savers 2 Wich are the less thick ones but much bigger longer then the small ones does it matter what you use or do you have to use the less thick ones but longer bigger ones. • @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR
      @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR  Před 4 lety

      I would start off by sending the most valuable ones first and only the ones that look like they're in gem mint condition. You want to be able to sell these for at least $20 a piece in order to make any decent return on investment. Check eBay and see what the cards are selling for in mint 9 cases because the chances of getting all gem mint's is very low. You'll be lucky to get 5 -10 out of 100 cards submitted. Unless they were all pack fresh then obviously that number will increase. SO, just send the best of the best that sell for atleast $20-$30 in mint 9 cases.

      @@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR In your experience, after bulk submitting, what can you expect apart from a few gem mints (if one did send in cards in good condition)? If you send only cards you feel are in great shape, will the majority be 9's? Or can there also be much lower graded results on a lot of them? I am asking because for some, including me, we simply check out the front/back surface and corners. The magnifier you are using is pretty pricey to add on top of the other expenses for the whole grading process. I do see its great usefulness though!

    • @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR
      @GRADEDCARDINVESTOR  Před 4 lety +1

      @@alanp.verdugo2691 I am very happy with the grades I get from PSA. It takes practice to know what to look for. Grading cards is not a cheap hobby, it's an investment of both time and money. If you don't have much money then start out small with very low expectations. It's a gamble with both high and low rewards. You have to submit the right cards that will actually sell not random cards. There is a lot of strategy that involves lots or research, good timing and a little bit of luck. If you're succesful at it you can make significant money.

      Yes, for example, if you have 3 of the same card for line 3 they each need a label with 1/3, 2/3, and 3/3 numbered on them. If they were on line 35 then it would be 1/35, 2/35, 3/35 etc
