- If you've ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at our world-famous academy, then Inside Hale End will offer unprecedented insight into the quest to develop future first-team stars.
Our new six-part documentary series - presented by adidas x Arsenal - follows the paths of our under-15 and under-16 squads last season, taking an in-depth glimpse into their lives and what it means to be an aspiring footballer.
For the first time, cameras were allowed on-site to follow academy manager Per Mertesacker, under-15s coach Adam Pilling and the under-16s' Adam Birchall as they help the next generation plot a course from Hale End to London Colney, thanks to their first professional contract.
The first three episodes are now available on Arsenal.com for our Members to watch, with the following three episodes will be released on Tuesday, September 13.

These kids are very well looked after, you can tell just from the maturity and personalities, very professional and resolute, no FM.
The fact the coaches and staff around Hale End focus so much on the personality and attitude of the players show that Arsenal care about more than just building good footballers.
They’re really setting these kids up to be better people!

Arsenal is more than a football team to me, its like a family. The kind of respect that people within this club have is somethng i have never seen in my life, tihis kids will grow up to be very decent human beings in their respective lives. This is what sets Arsenal apart from all the other teams. I love Arsenal.

I really enjoy watching our young lads at Hale End and Arsenals decision to show us what goes on at the academy is brilliant for us Gooners to have a peak behind the Arsenal machine. For me also it reminds me that they are just kids and how difficult it must be for the lads to learn the trade and also school etc and need special care in so many areas as they get through their teens. It's just bloody amazing watching these boys grow and deal with it all. The coaching team have to be so careful in how they handle each individual. It must be as hard for them as for the kids to manage everyone's personal expectations. Never been more prouder of our club since being able to see Hale End like this. Thanks so much ❤

I just hope we get more arsenal academy players in the senior squad, we've got brilliant talents in the academy but there is no way they're going to break into the senior squad without giving them chances. Since Saka,ESR and Joe apart from Balogun no one has come out. We need to show faith in them

I played rec league sports as a kid, so the stakes were much lower, and the adults were much more temperamental than any of the players.

You can see why so many don't come close to making it, the coach tells them after the game against Norwich that they have to play like it's a world cup final no matter the situation and then against West Ham they go through the motions as they know they are already likely to go through.

Hale end need a better phisical program. How many talents can't fullfilled their potential. Daniel crowley, kelechi nwakali, denilson, etc, they are considered bright talents. Look at gnabry, donyell malen, they can't make it at arsenal but now, they are stars because their club can really train their player

If it was purely down to only ‘physical program’, how come Saka, ESR, Eddie, Balogun, Patino have made it to the first team? Easy for you to mention Gnabry who graduated successfully from the academy, and not mention the dozens who played with him in the academy and are now in footballing obscurity
